For the price we paid the value was decent. Nothing too horrible to discuss in. The bed was actually quite comfortable. For those people who are very picky this is not the hotel for you. The hotel and rooms are very outdated although the lobby is nice. They definitely need to get new carpeting for sure, the carpeting felt like it had outlived its days. The staff was not rude, but nothing above and beyond. Again, I felt that I paid for what I got.

The room was really dirty. The bed had stains on it that looked like blood, the room and bathrooms were dusty, and one of the lamps did not work. We didn’t feel comfortable so we ended up leaving.

The room was so outdated. All of the doors and walls were scuffed. The bathroom light only worked half of the time and hesitated to even turn on when it did. The shower curtain was too small for the shower and unable to close, the room smelled musty, and the switch to the lights next to the beds didn’t work, someone had unscrewed the lightbulbs to turn them off and on….

This hotel was average. It was affordable and close to the airport. Looks nice from the outside with white painted exterior and black windows though the inside was dated. Our room was clean except it looked like there was some mold within the grout of the sink and shower. The beds were comfortable. The pool area was quite nice and there bathrooms and towels out there and the sunset over the pool was lovely. We left before breakfast so am not able to comment on that. Parking was free and ample. One strange thing is that there were no paper towels in the public restrooms, only tissues which were placed in a way that suggested to use those instead.

The lobby is nice but the rooms are terrible. The carpet is very worn and frayed. The bathroom tile had almost no grout left. The toilet moved when you sat on it, not just the seat but the whole toilet. The bricks walking out to the pool are loose.
Not a great place at all. We only needed to sleep for a few hours for an early flight otherwise we would never have stayed there.

A nice surprise on the road. We booked at the last minute during the night, and it was a great surprise to find really nice people with a natural calling to serve and help. Elie was very helpful and professional throughout. It's not a fancy or new hotel, but it’s very convenient, and the staff doesn’t give you a hard time.

Orlando Palms is now on my list of hotels when I visit the city as it exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and spacious. I didn't need to use the phone but it would have been nice to have one in the room to call the front desk for possible suggestions of things to do or if housekeeping was needed without having to go all the way to the front. Will definitely stay again and highly recommend!!

Room was clean but old. They didnt honor what we won on the spin the wheel. We got free early check in, they couldnt refund us that so they offered free breakfast in which we went and it wasnt even open. Was told no breakfast on Fridays. Had to go elsewhere and spend more money. Nothing else was offered in return except for a late check out option. Pool had a ton of bugs in it and hadnt been cleaned so we didnt swim. Its comfortable for a inexpensive place but dont expect anything else than a bed and shower.

The bathroom only had shampoo provided no body wash which was a bit inconvenient. However, I will say the shower itself was the best I’ve had on this trip; the water pressure was just right.

Unfortunately, there was a foul smell at the entrance, and the room had a damp odor, almost like the carpets had gotten wet and weren’t dried properly. The carpets also felt quite outdated, which took away from the overall experience.

This place was absolutely perfect for my visit. Clean rooms. Hot shower. Cool pool. Can’t beat it. The person who stood out to me was Rose aka Roxie. I was wayyy early and she let me crash in the lobby until a room was ready. There were others waiting there as well and it was very comfortable and welcoming to everyone who was waiting. Price is very reasonable. I would stay here again in an instant.

The location was perfect for universal. For the price i got for 2 separate rooms for 3 nights was pretty manageable. I didnt like the $100 deposit per room when i got there. That was no where on the website. Had it been i wouldn't have mind as much. I just dont like surprises with fee's when i prepay ahead everytime. The stay was nice the rooms didnt have a microwave or a phone. Honesty i didnt mind but it did make a unconvinced for my kids. They made upgrades that are noticeable. Nice hot shower and my key cards worked with no issues. Other then water damaged thats noticeable it was a quite stay after a long day in the parks.

Do not book this hotel!! I booked a 2 night stay here and I called the day of check in to let the know I would be getting in until 6:30am the next morning hence why I booked the stay the night before to ensure my family and I would have a place to rest after a long night of traveling. I called 3 times and every time got an answering machine. There was no identifier that I had called the hotel just a generic answering. When we arrived Eli said oh your reservation was cancelled due to not showing up. I showed him my call record and he said, “oh the person working must have been sleeping”. He ended up having another worker check the room that was assigned to me and there were people in the room. He couldn’t tell me when they checked in. I asked about if if they had a room for that same night and he said there were no rooms available and he couldn’t tell me if there was a room for that same day. He ended up telling me that the person double booked the room. I waited an hour for him to get ahold of the “manager”, but she was unresponsive to his calls and texts. I called Expedia and requested a refund which they said would be refunded in 7-10 days.

The hotel offers a great first impression with a spacious lobby and friendly, polite staff. While the room appeared to be tidy, we were disappointed by a strong, musty smell of bleach and mildew that the A/C couldn't quite clear, causing it to be quite stuffy.

The room also lacked a chair, the bed itself wasn't very comfortable to sit on, which made relaxing in the room difficult.

Overall, the hotel is okay for a short stay.

The room situation was so bad. When we arrived they didn’t have the room we had reserved, instead, they gave us a king bed with a pullout couch. The pullout couch was made of nightmares. It was so so dirty and the mattress was so old (probably older than me) with rips and holes and stains, cigarette burns, no sheets or blankets or pillows. We all slept on the king bed that night, 4 of us in one bed. The room was not the cleanest, the bed skirt had stains all over it, and the carpet was sticky and dirty. The sheets seemed pretty clean, but this was the first time ever that I stayed in a hotel and seriously feared for bed bugs. We slept, woke up and showered and left, never turning back. The staff was so kind, I’ll give them that, but that room was horrible.

The accommodation rooms are disgusting, the carpets are stained, the ceilings have spot on them (and I don't want to know what it was from), the air conditioner barely cools the room, bathrooms are in disrepair, hair dryer was broken, closet doors were broken, no hangers, no Housekeeping to ask for hangers, Front Desk never answers their phone, we were told the pool hours upon check in, only to see notices all around the hotel that the pool is closed....... Don't be fooled with the photos, the first one isn't even of the hotel, it's a stock image!

The musty smell that hits you as you enter the hotel is somewhat off putting. The property is older but it was clean. The best part of hotel is the front desk ladies. The older black lady with a slight accent was super helpful and friendly. It's was a good location as well.

Well there’s no smart tv and also the rooms haven’t been updated In a LONGGGG time. Extremely outdated but otherwise clean. I arrived at 2 am and unpacked only to find out the shower was clogged. So I had to repack and get a new room. They were quick in that so I can’t complain too much there. However the beds were not very comfortable.

I stayed for one night on a business trip. The bathtub was clogged and dirty; next to it, they had left the empty container of drain cleaner they had used—to no avail. When I asked to be moved to a different room, I was told that no other rooms were available. They never should have rented out that room.
