Everything seemed like it was just glued on, switch plates, towel holder, doors super old, one elevator goes to the gym and the other doesn’t so you have to play a waiting game as there is only 1 button for both elevator.

There were adult parties in the lobby but children were going in and out as there was no security

I would be remiss in not leaving a review! I truly enjoyed my stay here for about 6 days actually. Totally impressed and l have had the privilege to travel so many places in and out the USA in my lifetime. And being a former flight attendant along with travel benefits, l have been to many hotels so l can spot a nice one when l come across one. From Melanie at the breakfast buffet to the grill bar with Carl and the staff for fun times and good conversation with the guests this is a great place! The swimming pool, offices and conference spaces are great and the gym! This hotel offers very clean rooms and is quiet l found. l left a beautiful noisy Airbnb (upstairs guests) early to check in here and find quiet solace. All of the hosts are just the nicest people and the managers always greet you with a quick hello and how’s your stay? Therefore, being a realtor of many years and you’re coming to Michigan and staying in Oakland County I highly suggest that you stay here. It’s located right next to the freeways, near restaurants and just all in all a nice comfortable place. I cannot imagine anyone giving this place less stars. The only thing I would want to recommend is being able to use a casting system on the TV, which l understand they are doing! All in all l give it high marks!!

I stayed at the Radisson while in town for my older brother’s funeral, traveling with limited funds and coordinating multiple family members to stay together so we could support one another. I explained this situation to Manager Manoj and respectfully requested a one-time courtesy upgrade to a larger available room so our grieving family wouldn’t be crowded into a small space or the lobby.

Instead of showing understanding, Manoj repeatedly told me to come back, offering no real help. When I returned the next day, he was gone, and the next manager, Duwan, read Manoj’s notes aloud—stating I had requested an upgrade and instructing staff not to grant it and to charge me. Given the circumstances, this felt cold, dismissive, and lacking basic compassion.

In contrast, Manager Duwan showed true professionalism and empathy. After briefly reviewing the situation, he upgraded us to a larger space with additional connected rooms, giving my family the privacy and comfort we needed to grieve together. He even escorted us upstairs, ensuring everything was taken care of.

The difference was clear: where Manoj was unkind and dismissive, Duwan was compassionate and understanding. I’m grateful for Duwan’s care during such a difficult time and hope the Radisson recognizes employees who truly embody hospitality.

The only thing I didn't like was that there was neither a microwave nor a dryer in my room—both are very necessary for daily living. On the 7th floor, there is a microwave that doesn't work, and the one on the 1st floor is always too busy.

Beautiful facility. I celebrated my birthday in the Jefferson Ballroom with family and friends. I was satisfied with my hotel room; however, there was a fire drill at 3AM and we had to evacuate. We had to walk down the stairs from the 10th floor to find out it was a false alarm. We had a hard time falling back asleep and then it was time to fall asleep. We did not really get to enjoy our overnight stay. It was a waste of $$$. However, the Radissson Southfield is a nice Hotel.

Ive stayed here before and loved it but this time the heat didnt work in my room. Maintenance came and fixed it once but it broke again. I was told by the front desk someone would be up to fix it, after hours and noone showed I called back and was informed noone was coming and i could switch rooms this was after 1am. Checkout was 11 so i stayed in a cold room most of my stay. I was there for a wedding for two days. I didnt switch rooms at 1am because there was only 10 hrs to checkout and my husband and i had alot of belongings including wedding clothes so we had to tough it out. Our stay was very COLD!! I will never firget rm 609 i hope they fixed the issue.

The room was in ok condition, our toilet was leaking, the tub had a hard time draining after my shower, and the temp setting on the iron was missing. The check-in wait, and the man who checked us in had a very nasty, arrogant attitude. We waited for 15 minutes or more to be checked in before someone actually came; by then, there was a line of people waiting for service. And the attendant said that if anyone had a problem, they could cancel. I thought that was very arrogant of him, given that we waited to be checked in. It was Valentine's Day, and people had planned this stay for that reason. Better training needs to be had! The dinner staff and bar staff were great! So was the food that night! This was our first time staying there.

Security did not respond to the situation at all. People who appeared to be under the influence were running through the floor, shouting, and trying to force their way into room doors. There was also a loud party on the 12th floor with music playing until 7 AM. It was impossible to sleep, and the overall atmosphere felt chaotic and unsafe. I did not feel secure staying at this property.

The young lady who was the receptionist the 3 days of my 4 day stay. Extremely professional in customer service with guest & myself answering questions and sharing information.

The engineer, 'jack of all trades' in keeping the building up & running. While also explaining winter weather do's & don't advice in making my visit safe along with enjoyable.

The bathroom was a lot smaller than what the online hotel pictures showed. The shower and toilet area was separate from the sink area. When shutting the door to the shower/toilet area it felt very tight and small which was a little unpleasant. The shower water pressure was very minimal and the water felt luke warm. The water never got warmer even with running the shower for a while. The beds were comfortable, service for breakfast was exceptional, check in service was very friendly and helpful, the hotel room was clean except for some strands of hair in the shower and in the fridge.

This is probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. We saw bugs in our room, the shower had in pubic hairs in it, and customer service was horrible. We went out for the evening after checking in and when we returned the hotel was having a party. The parking lot was FULL and there was nowhere to park. When I asked an employee for help he told me to figure it out. Once we finally found parking and went into the hotel, it looked like something off of a Tubi movie.

We stayed one night. Our stay was just ok.

Not excellent but not bad. Decently priced. About 30 min drive from Little Ceasars Arena.

The room was fairly clean. Sheets were clean and beds were comfy. Our biggest issue was the walls were PAPER THIN. There was some kind of event happening so the hotel was packed and we could hear people running up and down the halls, talking loud up until like 4/5 am.
Also, the music was blaring until probably 3 am and the bass was heavy. The music didnt really bother us but I could see how that would be a problem for others. Keep in mind we were on the 9th floor, so I'm still trying to figure out how we heard that music. I was disappointed that the breakfast wasn't included; it was $10/pp but we opted to go elsewhere. Parking is free which is also a plus.

Overall I can't say I would never return, but I'd probably check somewhere else first.

The owner was inappropriate and unkept should have been my first warning and the fact that there is a sign that says no house keeping. The room seemed okay upon arrival until I pulled back the bedding and say that there was blood stains and other bodily fluids on the sheets and pillows. We check in at 530 and checked out by 830 when we got back from dinner. I asked for a refund and the owner made me show him the stains in the room and then began yelling at me and block the door for me to leave yelling at me. I pushed him aside and ran out of there.

Do not stay here, this property is not well kept. My brother and I booked a seven night stay here last week and could only stand one night in this establishment. When you walk in, you’ll notice that something is off but you won’t be able to put your finger on it. I’ll tell you what it is; they don’t focus on the details. The lobby area isn’t properly cleaned and neither are the rooms, clearly the guest prior had a party in the room and the party favors were still taped to the ceiling. Along with the fact that the shower head in my brother’s room didn’t work. We booked two, one (1) bedroom suites and each suite has three access doors. One more way for you to realize that they do everything cheaply at this property. So instead of investing to properly renovate the rooms, they went bush league. After staying the one and only night that we could stomach, we awoke the following morning and checked out early. Of course the staff didn’t ask why?. Why would they? That would show care and attention to detail. DO NOT STAY HERE, you will regret it. Lastly, be sure of how the property is kept, it’s clearly gotten a reputation and the kind of people that stay here, are not the kind you want to share a hotel with.

The desk chair in my room was broken and wouldn’t go up. As I was working on my laptop all evening, I called the front desk and asked if it could be swapped out. They said they would “try”. No one ever responded so I sat on 2 pillows on the chair trying to elevate myself to an appropriate level. Pretty clean but there was a glob of toothpaste on the wall next to the sink mirror. Not major but just seemed kind of hard to miss. Not sure if it’s typical or not but I only had 4 working TV channels. To be fair, I didn’t ask the front desk because I hadn’t gotten a response for my chair request so I didn’t bother.

Manoj is a Horrible Front Desk Associate

I booked a King bed on the High Floor. I flew in and arrived at the hotel at 520pm. Manoj was the associate helping. He stated "top floor" and gave me a key to a room on the 3rd floor. Weird, but maybe their floors are different. Nope 3rd floor. I go back down and hes gives the most rude service ever. Says he is sold out. I told him thats fine but my booki g was for a high floor. He said he had nothing but then found a room on the 6rh floor. I stated you have 15 floors. He states he has to move someone. Not my problem, my booking was for a high floor. He then tells me I got there at 530 so I shouldve come earlier. I informed him I flew in and regardless whatever I booked should be reserved when I arrive. He finally "finds" a 10floor room and tells me next time I should inform them of the high floor. Told him his service was rude and the system should inform him.

When I first arrived to the room we weren’t helped to check into the room. The lady was chit chatting with a friend and not checking us in. Luckily her coworker saw and she helped us. Then when we first got to the room. The door to the bathroom was broken. The first night we ended up getting stuck in the bathroom. Besides that, the room was nice and the rest of the staff were nice.

My room had a strong strange smell my entire stay. MOST IMPORTANTLY my bathroom was out of service my entire stay as well. Toilet flooded numerous of times. Room temperature was 60 degrees the whole time without any temperature control or adjusting! I even called the front desk everyday for help but they kept saying someone will come and fix it but never did! The morning I was checking out, just before we were about to walk out a janitor knocked on the door to service the room….. MIND YOU I WAS CHECKING OUT ALREADY AND HAD BEEN CALLING SINCE IVE CHECKED IN FOR HELP WITH MY ROOM AND NOW YOU SHOW UP ON THE LAST DAY WHEN IM ABOUT TO CHECK OUT?!!

The room was okay. The layout of the bathroom was not as expected as the photos do not depict the actual layout. The ironing board was broken which is did report at check out. I am also not sure the relationship between the hotel and the restaurant within the hotel huh maybe they can work together to make sure they are properly stocked with food and alcohol as they were out of a lot due to wedding and family reunion.

i’ve been coming to this location for about 3 years now. it’s sad that the quality has gone down. last night’s case was mini ants. tiny little ants. running in opposites corners of the room. i was staying for one night and was more out than in with minimal clothing so i didn’t complain because when you do,you can get a room that’s WORSE. i hate to see this happen to such a beautiful and convenient location.

The Property could use a few updates: the interior shower shelf (positioned by caulk, I surmise) was drooping against the wall tile (it wldn’t support a small bar of soap or a mini shampoo bottle). Unfortunately, after running the A/C at 73 (cold for such a small space), the room would have a slight smell. The doors (bathroom & room entrance door, squeaked (WD40 was needed). Overall, the rooms appear to be smartly staged and having a refrigerator and coffeemaker and clean laundry facilities and a microwave in the hallway made all the difference. The staff were smart, delightful and helpful. We would visit and be better prepared.
