• cleaning of rooms - does not exist!
Bathroom- A splattered cochroach was on the wall of the bathroom and stayed with us the entire week. The shower curtain ..... YUK, Yellow, smelly and very dirty! I dont thi k the bathroom had been cleaned at all before our stay or during our stay.
Bedroom - musty and old, uncomfortable twin beds pushed together! Someones else's blood left on the wall, again for the entire length of our stay, and by looking at it, its been there a long time.
Kitchen - chipped sharp dangerous floor tiles. To open the fridge you had a wardrobe handle !!!
The pole holding the kitchen island (lol) up had some questionable white dirty lumps!
Combined living room - dirty, smelly. A cochroach we killed with the spray left for us, remanded under the sofa for 4 days, despite the maid having been in the room!
The spoors and dirt all around the skirting boards were just disgusting.
There was no air conditioning at all, we hired a fan which was €2.50 a day, which done absolutely nothing! It just moved the musty smell around.
The grounds - the staff worked hard to keep these clean. The pool area !! was machined washed every morning.
The pool itself, looked nice, but it was dirty, tiles missing, mould growing. So slippery and dangerous. No balls were allowed in the pool!
I have so much more to say, but have run out of space.

Good value for money
This was our second stay at Blue Sea Jandia Luz and it is every bit as good as last year. Nice big rooms, comfortable beds and good food. The pool is nice too. Entertainment which is only once a week was not not very good this time.

Reception staff were extremely rude, never left a hotel so upset as we did from this place. This was meant to be a happy baby moon for us but a variety of issues led tous being dealt with by reception with obvious contempt and irritation, never experienced anything like it. Should say here the restaurant staff were polite

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Just let down by the cold food. Even the plates on the plate warmer were cold. Excellent choice of cold desserts though.

Good location, needs refurbishment
This once nice hotel in a good location is badly in need of a makeover. It also needs to improve the service attitude of its reception staff and to introduce some ’Spanish flexibility’ to mealtimes (breakfast is strictly 08.00-10.00 and NYE dinner finished promptly at 21.00 - in Spain!). I was lucky to have a view to the pool area but there are rooms facing the noisy main road. Speaking of noise, you can hear everything between rooms - I was kept awake by my neighbour snoring. On a positive note, whenever there was an issue (I had a problem with my balcony door) it was dealt with very quickly.

Helt okej budget hotel.
Prisvärt. Centralt beläget. Hotellet är en budget anläggning. Ganska trista rum. Fint pool område. Tillräcklig med solstolar! Bra frukost okej middag, otroligt trista efterrätter. Personalen i restaurangen log eller hälsade inte en gång på 5 dagar. Skicka dom på en service kurs!

A fuir absolument. Par où commencer ? La chambre au bord d’une 2x2 voies au passage incessant ? L’eau marron dans la douche qui impose de se doucher sur la plage ? La nourriture abominable et froide ? L’absence d’animations, de club enfant ou simplement d’aire de jeux (en état délabré donc inutilisable) ? Le tout inclus avec des suppléments ? Les 3 biscuits secs en guise de collation au goûter ? La même lavette violette dégoûtante pour laver les tables du repas (toutes les tables et sans la rincer entre 2) ? Bref… notre pire expérience en hôtel.

Alojamiento bastante viejo, aunque limpio y con buena ubicación. La cocina deja mucho que desear, no hay casi nada ni productos para limpiar. Estuvimos cuatro noches y la última ya no había gel de ducha porque no lo habían repuesto.

Me he hospedado varias veces y la verdad que no cumplieron ninguna de nuestras peticiones. La comida es regular y repetitiva. Lo peor es que no tienen ventilador ni aire acondicionado. Lo bueno es su tranquilidad y ubicación frente a la playa.

Saubere Unterkunft an toller Lage
Sehr saubere und gepflegte Anlage. In unserem Apartment hatte es alles, was man so braucht, inkl. einem geräumigen Kühlschrank mit Eisfach. Die Lage ist ideal. Sehr nah zum Strand und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind praktisch vor der Haustüre. Lediglich das Personal im Poolbereich und an der Poolbar hätte etwas freundlicher sein können.

Sinceramente no estoy muy contento, cuando llegamos al hotel preguntamos por la hora del almuerzo y nos han dicho que no podíamos almorzar, tuvimos que ir almorzar a un restaurante de la avenida, hay habitaciones (la mayoría) sin aire acondicionado y es insoportable el calor, tuvimos que pagar 2,50€ por noche para un ventilador. Está bien económicamente pero no merece la pena, no volveré, gracias.

Nettes Personal, sämtliche Probleme wurden sofort behoben, sei es Boarding Pass ausdrucken, frühe Abreise mit sehr frühem Frühstück oder defekte Kalt-Wasser-Leitungen, wegen der extremen Hitze der Vortage.
Über die einheimische Fauna wurde man informiniert und begegnete ihr meist nur in den späten Abendstunden in freier Wildbahn. (2x Kakalake gesichtet und diverse Katzen)
Die Räumlichkeiten waren aber stets sauber und wurden auch 6x die Woche gesäubert, Abwaschen musste man selber, da es sich aber ja um ein Apartment handelt, war ich eh überrascht, dass jemand kam.
Der Pool ist klein aber ausreichend und schön erfrischend, für die All-inklusiv-Bucher mit kostenloser Bar. Für alle Hotelgäste gab es kostenlose (sofern verfügbar) Liegen und Schirme.
Der Strand ist nicht weit entfernt, dort sind allerdings die Liegen dann gebührenpflichtig.
Einen Stand für Aktivitäten besitzt das Hotel auch, wann dort jemand zugeben ist kann ich allerdings nicht sagen, da ich ihn nicht benötigt hatte.
Ansonsten liegt das Hotel in angenehmer Stadt-Strandlage. Abends kann man auch mal gemütlich sich in eine Bar setzen und das allgemeine Leben ausserhalb des Hotels geniesen, was meines Ehrachtens nach in den großen Hotelkomplexen immer mehr vernachlässigt wird.
Zu Guter Letzt, es gab eine gesunde Mischung aus Kindern, jungen Menschen, Singles, Pärchen und Rentnern. Alle haben sich gegenseitig respektiert, was den Lärmpegel und gewisse Höflichkeiten anging.

Ansonsten liegt das Hotel in angenehmer Stadt-Strandlage. Abends kann man auch mal gemütlich sich in eine Bar setzen und das allgemeine Leben ausserhalb des Hotels geniesen, was meines Ehrachtens nach in den großen Hotelkomplexen immer mehr vernachlässigt wird.
Zu Guter Letzt, es gab eine gesunde Mischung aus Kindern, jungen Menschen, Singles, Pärchen und Rentnern. Alle haben sich gegenseitig respektiert, was den Lärmpegel und gewisse Höflichkeiten anging.

Hotel je fajn, je sice hned u cesty, ale alespon je to všechno blízko. Ruch z cesty jde slyšet maximálně z obývacího pokoje, kde upřímně, jsem byla asi jen jednou na 5minut :)

Wir suchten ein Hotel ohne Verpflegung mit nähe Strand und nähe Einkaufsmöglichkeiten mit Promende zum Essen. Wer aber Erholung sucht ist hier am falschen Ort. Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Straße und das hört man sehr gut auch in der Nacht nichts mit Fenster offen halten zu lüften.
