Amazing experience

Amazing experience at hotel Riu, we throughly enjoyed our stay! The staff are very helpful and friendly. There is a large selection of food for breakfast and dinner. Very clean and in a great location for shops.

This was our 9th visit. The hotel is very, very good. The town and the beach are quiet in that nobody bothers you.There are very few teenagers and no noisy clubs The hotel staff, as always, were excellent - particularly the dining room staff - the chefs and the waiters. The quality of the food is excellent. My only quibble is that they should change the menu in the fine dining restaurant occasionally.. It has been the same for the past three years.

This is not a four much less a five star property. There is no visible sign that tells one that one has arrive. There's no valet parking, there's no bellhop service outside. The service is not available round the clock. The hotel doesn't provide feather or comfortable pillows nor bedding. No duvets. The hotel refuses to allow guests to decide for themselves what temperature to have on the hotel unless you threat bloody murder and raise hell, they don't provide à la carte dining, but a terrible buffet for 55€, the breakfast is available in the very small hours of the morning so I missed it every day and the money wasn't returned. This is a hotel by Germans for Germans who think this is the greatest place on earth. Getting to and from the beach is an ordeal and nothing an elderly person can easily cope with. I hated every day I stayed here. I'd be back to Fuerteventura, but I'll stay in the North, in Corralejo and at a proper 4-5 star Hotel or resort.

Overnight stay in Jandia

Having stayed at the Riu Palace Tres Islas numerous times,we thought we'd have a visit to Jandia for an overnight change. The hotel was clean,the outlook from the pool fantastic,room a bit tired,layout of the hotel initially somewhat confusing and definitely restricting to the elderly and children. Our experience at reception was less than encouraging,the gentleman was pleasant,but a few smiles might help from the other staff. Gorgeous promenade walk to charming Morro Jable front stopping for a glass to embrace a glorious sunset before a tasty fish meal at a long-standing small restaurant while watching the waves. We plan to return to Morro Jable,but not to the Riu Palace Hotel Jandia. Not a patch on the Tres Islas.

17 nights at Everest base camp

Strange hotel with lots of stairs, if you enter from the lower beach entrance you have to walk up stairs only to have to walk down more stairs to get to some of the rooms, one of such rooms we were staying in. We then had to climb even more stairs before we could get to an elevator to take us up to the dining room level or even higher to the reception level where when exiting the elevator there were steps down to the actual reception.
We only ate breakfast in the dining room where the food choices and staff were excellent. Although staying on an half board basis we didn’t eat an evening meal at the hotel as long trousers and a sleeved shirt were required and being the height of summer we didn’t have any such clothes so had the added expense of dining out in the evening. It really amazed us how after paying around £2500 for the hotel alone we weren’t being fed in the evenings yet the tens on manky flea ridden cats that were loitering around the lower part of the hotel were fed daily out of there very own bowls.
Our room was very spacious and had a great view of the beach, however the curtains we’re dirty, torn and were hanging unhooked in places . The bed was extremely uncomfortable and I didn’t get much sleep for the duration of our stay. The dead fly which was on the bathroom floor for four day was eventually picked up by myself and flushed down the toilet.

WONT BE STAYING AGAIN AND CERTAINLY WONT RECOMMEND IT. EXPECTED MORE FROM A RIU PALACE

I was surprised at how friendly and welcoming the staff all were and the availability of pool sun beds and space on the beach was excellent.

The food (except the breakfast sausages) was excellent and i am a food snob.

Weve done Majorca twice, france countless times and barca and lots more and we will be goong back.

We stayed at this hotel for a few days between Christmas and new year it was up to the normal Rui standard large clean room lovely buffet and friendly staff. The position of the hotel is good for both beach , local shops and bars. We enjoyed our stay very much

Fabulous hotel.

Had a lovely last minute holiday stay here. I was very concerned about what hotel I picked as I am 5 months pregnant and was worried about food extra.
However the food was amazing you can't complain one bit so much to choose and they are so helpful with any issues you have.
Room are Cofy sea views and a must I think. Then only thing I would say is if you going with little children there isn't a lot for them to do. Also not it being the hotels fault but the Beach the hotel lift goes onto (which is completely stunning) but you walk about 10mins along and you find a lot of nudests.
Other then that such a lovely place. Hopefully returning.

This is a good hotel. It is a little tired but what it lacks in polish, is more than compensated by the determination of the staff to provide the most excellent service.

Many people have written about the number of steps that are encountered. There really is now way round the issue and people with mobility issues should avoid the hotel.

Great hotel right on the beach

This is our second time to this hotel and we can honestly say that we were not disappointed. Everything was just as amazing as it was last year. The food is to die for, so much to choose from and the quality was like nothing you can compare to. Most hotels don't offer good food and you can usually expect bland food but the riu just makes it top class. The staff are extremely helpful albeit some more than others but overall good. The rooms are spacious and cannot fault the hotel on anything. The only thing missing is some bars and restaurants near the hotel that you could go to if you wanted. It's not a lively place so you need somewhere nearby to go. Great holiday and would recommend to anyone but if you want to go out in evening, might want to look elsewhere. Finally the one thing to be aware of is the wifi is only available in the lobby but still wasn't great.

A nice hotel very clean but rather dated.

We have enjoyed staying in the R I U Jandia. We did find the hotel rather boring it was 80% full of germans who were very loud at dinner and on the beach. The food was fine but always the same. The beach was perfect when you got to it down a lot of stairs. We did not like paying 20 euros for a safe which we have always found free in other hotels and water should be free but wasn't.

Superb, comfortable hotel.

Lots of steps so not good for pushchairs/disabled access. Great hotel for families with older children and couples. Good location but expect to pay 100 euros for a taxi from the airport if you haven't got a transfer booked! One hour journey time, but worth it for the beautiful beach. Great food, caters for all tastes and vegetarian.

Zimmer teilweise sehr laut - Aufpassen!

Insgesamt ein sehr schönes Hotel an einem tollen Strand in einer tollen Lage. Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut. Das Zimmer war groß und sehr schön. Der Balkon aber eher klein.
Aber sehr wichtig: Wenn Sie Pech haben, bekommen Sie ein Zimmer in Richtung des daneben liegenden Clubs und zugleich der Straße. Beides, Straße und Club (Animation und Musik), sind teilweise sehr laut und der Club (die Musik) ist bis spät am Abend auch durch die geschlossenen Schiebetüren des Balkons zu hören.
Wenn also möglich, bitten Sie unbedingt um ein Zimmer in eine andere Richtung!
Weiterer nerviger und inzwischen sehr unüblicher Punkt: Für den Safe muss man extra zahlen, immerhin (ich meine) 7 Euro pro Tag, sowas muss bei dem Gesamtpreis des Hotels wirklich nicht sein!

Superbe hôtel et belle vue

Très bel hôtel fort bien situé au bord de l océan avec une vue paradisiaque. Buffet très bon mais aurait pu être un peu plus varié au fil de la semaine. Insonorisation des chambres pas très bonne surtout côté circulation.

Sehr enttäuschend -unfreundliches front desk

Die Location an dem großen Strand ist traumhaft und auch das Buffett fantastisch. Leider hat uns die tägliche Unfreundlichkeit und Unprofessionalität der front desk Mitarbeiter einen dunklen Schatten auf die Reise erbracht.Zusätzlich hatten wir durch schlechte Kommunikation der Mitarbeiter am Ende sehr hohe Zusatz Kosten mit denen wir nicht gerechnet haben. Für uns leider nicht weiterzuempfehlen.

Najmocniejsze strony: duży pokój z wygodnym łóżkiem i częścią dzienną z sofą, spory taras, piękny widok, położenie nad sama plażą i bliskość do miasta i knajpek, niezle śniadania.
Słabe strony: czystość (pozornie czysto), brak ekspresu do kawy (dostępna tylko kawa instant uzupełniana o 3/4 saszetki co 2-3 dni, wiec zdecydowanie za rzadko, płatny sejf (22 euro / tydzień).

Många trappor, svårt att förflytta sig många meter utan att möta en trappa. Besvärliga trånga spiraltrappor gör det svårt att hålla avstånd enligt nuvarande restriktioner rel.Covid. En av två huvudhissar under reparation 10 av 14 dgr. Kvarvarande huvudhiss nyttjades 60-70% av personal.
Stort trevligt rum. Utmärkt städning, mat ua.

Kein 5* Hotel - aber sehr schön renoviert!

Wir verbrachten 7 Nächte in diesem Hotel. Es ist wirklich sehr ansprechend renoviert. Abgesehen vom Rezeptionsstaff, welches nicht mal fragt, ob man Hilfe bei den Koffern nach dem Einchecken braucht oder auch einmal mit Fingerschnipsen im Vorbeilaufen zum „Vortreten“ an den Tresen „bittet“, wenn man ein Anliegen hat, war es ein schöner Aufenthalt.
Das Zimmer 1308, welches wir erhielten, sollte man unbedingt vermeiden, da es direkt unterhalb einer Lüftungsanlage liegt. Diese läuft von morgens um 06:00 Uhr bis spät abends. Wenn man bei offenen Fenster schläft, hört man ganz sicher kein Meeresrauschen sondern recht deutlich die Lüftung - für den gleichen Preis wie die anderen Zimmer mit Ruhe (nach dem abendlichen Unterhaltungsprogramm) UND Meeresrauschen - klingt kitschig, aber die Lüftung raubt einem ab 06:00 Uhr definitiv den Nerv.
Ein 5*- Hotel ist anders - aber für einen Urlaub in Morro Jable mit etwas Toleranz zu empfehlen.

Ha sido muy buena la estancia. La comida es excelente, por la noche la música es en vivo muy entretenida y da gusto tomarte unas cosillas. Lo que si me ha extrañado es la vestimenta para la cena, deberían ser cuidadosos no deberían entrar con pantalones cortos y cholas, en un hotel de cinco estrellas es para vigilar la entrada al comedor. Se lo deberían de mirar.

Sehr schöne Zimmer - im Dez 20 frisch renoviert. Toller Blick vom Balkon sowie vom Poolbereich auf den Strand und das Meer.
Personal meist sehr nett und zuvorkommend (hängt von den Personen ab). Frühstücksbüffet reichhaltig und lecker. Definitiv zu empfehlen.
