The spa was relaxing but not good value for money. The premium upgrade is basically futile, you’re only entitled to a robe, a couple soft drinks in your fridge and the ability to reserve a spot in a slightly upgraded dining experience. Upon reflection I wish I didn’t upgrade.

However my fiance had her birthday and when I disclosed it the staff put in an effort to make her feel special with complimentary cava and a birthday message.

Overall, I won’t be coming back due to extortion and inadequate value for money.

Vacaciones Fuerteventura!!

Reservamos una habitación en MP con cama matrimonial, al llagar al hotel nos informaron que este tipo de cama no existen en el hotel, solo en las Suites. Nos dijeron que solucionarían el problema poniendo un toper con cremallera, pero solo pusieron una sabana doble, el problema nunca se arregló, nos compensaron con el todo incluido plus. Pero esto no solucionó el problema de la cama que ha sido una verdadera incomodidad. El personal de servicio de restaurantes y bares muy alegres y serviciales. La recepción del hotel un poco menos, supongo por la carga de trabajo...En general la comida esta buena sobretodo en el restaurante La Toscana. Lo demás normalito, las habitaciones necesitan una reforma urgente.

The hotel is rather big and spacious however the cleanliness is below average specially in the dining room. We booked a sea view room and got put in a room which had a large olive tree right in front of our window so the only view we had was a large amount of leaves _ took 3 days to move us to another room after daily battle (if you pay extra to have a sea view you would accept to see the sea !!!). Food was ok with a good selection of daily salads however dessert were exactly the same every meal so a bit disappointing. Drinks were as you would expect in an all inclusive. The most disappointing part was the cleanliness of the dining room _ dirty plates were constantly piling on all tables meaning on busy time it was hard to find a clean table to eat. We had couple of power cut as well as and no water for half a day meaning ... No toilet / no shower / no coffee at bkfst ... Pool was heated so a nice addition for our comfort through the day - only down side was the limited amount of shades around both pools as no umbrella available. A nice water slides just out of the hotel but as it was outside you had to constantly come back to the hotel bars if you wanted a drink - nice addition but not very convenient. Rooms were rather large with a good size bathroom. Friendly staff but felt there were a shortage of staff considering the hotel were full - waiting time for getting drinks were quite long specially in the evening. Overall a OK stay but won't come back or recommend to friends.

We had a great 6 night stay in a suite.
Absolutely huge lounge area, bedroom and the biggest round bath ive ever seen!
We had a wonderful wrap around balcony, again huge, with table chairs and 2 sunbeds.
The food was varied and catered for all tastes and nationalities.
The wholechotel was very clean, from rooms to all communal areas.
We'd hired a car and parked just outside on the road which was easy.
Highly recommend.

We stayed for 7 nights over Easter and had a fabulous experience. We had a big room with beautiful see views. The staff were very friendly and attentive. There was an excellent choice of foods with different themed nights. Fresh fish and meat were cooked daily. Good selection of wine too. We also used the Spa and had an excellent massage. The gym does not open until 10.00am so for those wanting to have a morning workout (before bfast) bear that in mind. The hotel is on a hill so lots of steps although lifts are available. A 10 minutes walk down a steep hill will take you to the beach and a small shopping centre. The hotel provides 2 daily buses to the beach and back. At the beach you will have to pay for sunbeds as they are not part of the hotel. €13.50 for 2 sunbeds and a parasol. There’s a small “chiringuito “ charging extortionate prices!! Fuerteventura can be a very windy island so if you’ve never been before be aware! We had a great time and will definitely go back!

Great hotel!

Very lovely stay, you get what you pay for. Well deserved title of a 4 star hotel.

We were originally given a ground floor room however I upgraded as I am paranoid about the safety of ground floors and I paid an extra €80 for a sea view room and it was massive and the view was immense! Definitely recommend!

Short walk to Burger King and the gorgeous beach although it’s a steep hill, takes around 5-10 mins and on some occasions we took a taxi which was around €3.50.

Food and drink - just an average all inclusive. Just what you’d expect from a 4 star.

Only problem I had with my stay is that I wanted to buy a photo that a photographer took of me and my boyfriend in the pool. But there was never anyone at the photo desk! We even left a note with our number on saying we wanted to buy a photo but no response. We asked reception a couple of times but they couldn’t help as it is a separate company.

Apart from that, amazing stay and would definitely recommend.

Would I stay again? Maybe, lovely hotel but location wise there’s not much going on.

It is a good quality, large Barcelo network hotel, with an overall high standard. Fairly close (15 min walk ) to a gorgeous, wide , never crowded sandy beach, with ocean waves, clean water and lifeguards once upon a time.
In a bit of a distance from Morro Jable centre, therefore far from the town centre nighttime parties noise.
Excellent food. Large choice for every meal ( be it breakfast, lunch or dinner), very tasty and good quality. Several freshly prepared options, including meat, fish and vegetarian for every meal.
Nice pools with pool bars for those wanting to spend time at the hotel.
Evening time entertainment is fine for the enthusiasts of hotel parties.

DRAWBACK(s): Evening/ night entertainment in the summer time ( we were in August) takes place on a free air stage, on the large hotel \"patio\", surrounded by hotel buildings. This is often EXTREMELY NOISY, lasting up UNTIL MIDNIGHT. That means that all of the hotel rooms facing the \" patio\", that is at least 2/3 of the hotel (!) are not able to find peace and quiet for half of the night! We were literally unable to hear each other talking aloud on the balcony at 23.30 one night! This is strange and difficult to understand. Hoteldisco ( every night after the official entertainment event) is outside on the same stage. It is IMPOSSIBLE TO SLEEP with the balcony door open.

Overall we had a good holiday but only after we were allowed to change the room for the other end of the hotel, after 3 days of suffering the noise.

A well maintained, well staffed resort with lots of things for kids to do. We had a great time. Rooms were modern and clean with a Spanish feel and cleaning staff were super helpful. Not on the beach but close enough (a ten min walk), I would suggest renting a car though because there are so many beautiful beaches to explore in Fuerteventura. The only thing I would say is that the food in the main hall was not the best I’ve had but that’s not even really a complaint, that subject to opinion.

lovely family break

Great for families with the kids club that our daughter has enjoyed a lot. Our room was clean and comfortable (common spaces like corridors and staircases could do with a bit of attention). The food was tasty and plenty of choice. All inclusive option was great value for money.
The only downside is the fact that the indoor pool is only available for kids for just 2 hours a day (10 to 12) and the adults pay £10 each to enter. In the summer it is probably of no importance but in winter months it would be great if the pool was available for a couple of more hours as it gets empty after 12 anyway.

High standard family oriented all inclusive resort: good quality food with fresh fruit juices, bottled wines & many other premium touches. 2 outdoor pools with one heated and well laid out. Good kids activities including a splash pad, playground and kids + teens club etc along with a very good natured animation team. Charming location in the lunaresque Jandia natural park. The few negatives include the distance + slope from the beach/sea and the fact that the \"sea views\" are over the tops of the sister resort in front, a few extra charges for parking & towels that are more of a nuisance than a cost, a two tier \"all\" inclusive system & the remoteness of the location. Be aware also that Fuerteventura is prone to winds that can result in a \"wind chill\" factor on the odd gloomy days. Overall though an excellent resort and good value for money high standard all inclusive package - would definitely recommend for families!

Hotel clean,comfortable and friendly.

We booked our holiday on 12.12.17. There was a discrepancy with the prices on line. We were told by Expedia staff that they would honour the All Inclusive price shown, which we subsequently booked. This was also confirmed by Expedia to us by e-mail. The Hotel would not accept this. We did try to contact Expedia whilst we were at the Hotel with no avail. The holiday was to celebrate our special anniversary but because of this fault with Expedia/Hotel it was marred.
We would like to inform you that we wanted All Inclusive, therefore,reluctantly, we paid 144 euros.
As this was a fault with Expedia we wish for the paid amount to be refunded at your
earliest possible convenience.

Done what it said on the label.

Not expensive so didn’t expect the Ritz however the hotel had a nice feel with very friendly staff and was well looked after.

Only complaint would be the temperature of the food which ranged from like warm to cold unless you got it fresh as it came if the grill if from the kitchen. There were several microwaves dotted around if you liked warm or hot food but the queues for these were usually long so suggest heat you food then get your salad.

Overall we had a pleasant stay and would come back again.

Really Nice Place

Lovely place, loads of pools if you want piece & quiet but the crater park is real fun no matter what age you are!)
The food is standard AI, mass catering but even as a non meat & non gluten eater, I always managed to eat something tasty.
I wouldn't book anything less than AI here as it's pretty remote & the onsite 'supermarket' doesn't have great choice & is expensive. I enjoyed it & would go again.

My Second Home

This was my 5th stay at the (former Barcelo) Occidental Jandia Mar.
The location is beautiful and the beaches and weather is very hard to beat. The beach is endless and if you enjoy walking, then you are in for a treat as the beach stretches as far as the eye can see and beyond along the coastline. The sea is crystal clear and you can walk out a fair distance before the waters get deep.
The resort is situated on the south of the island, so expect a 2 hour coach transfer to reach your hotel.
I have visited the island at various times of the year and the temperature averages between 25-30 degrees. Don't be put off by the islands 'windy' reputation - in all of the times I have visited, there have been very few actual windy days.
Despite Jandia being a quieter resort than Corralejo on the north of the island, there are still various places to eat and drink in the evenings. The main walk of shops, restaurants and bars are open until late and there is a fair amount of choice. If you were staying for a week then you would be able to dine somewhere different every night of the week. The options vary from pasta and pizza type dishes, to fresh fish and grilled meat. There is not much in the way of nightlife in the resort, with only one or two small bar/'nightclubs'. I would not recommend this holiday to people looking to party.
I love Fuerteventura and this visit marked my 15th stay on the island in under 10 years and I intend to continue to visit for the foreseeable future.

Lovely hotel

We had a lovely time at the Jandia Mar. Everything about it we loved! Yes it's on a steep hill, but we knew this before going, being reasonably fit, it's manageable.
The only moan I'd have is that the beds aren't that comfy, but after a few G&T's they're fine!
The food is great, always something for everyone. The pool areas are immaculate, as are the reception areas. A couple of the waiters in restaurant aren't too happy about their work but didn't affect us too much. There is entertainment every evening, but we never watched it, not really our cup of tea so we sat outside upstairs on a lovely terraced area. As for the beach, it's beautiful (apart from the nudists!) one of the best beaches we've been to.
Overall we loved it here, will hopefully be back.

Very poor customer experience.....don't bother!

Our room was in a particularly noisy location above the bar area. The hotel did very little to help with the noise and refused to move us room. This meant we didn't sleep at all as they were constantly moving furniture. The guest experience manager was rude and clearly not interested or authorised to do anything. This attitude was then mirrored by the Assistant Manager. This hotel is clearly used to customers complaints as they are absolutely immune. They actually told us that any issues had tobe taken up with Hotels.com. Passing the buck!
The food in the hotel was poor. There was a lack of variety and it was lukewarm at best.
There were not enough seats in the bar area and the bar areas were understaffed which meant queuing regularly for drinks.
On 3 occasions we had no hot water which poses a health risk.
I would also question why a 4 star hotel charges guests to enter their Spa. This hotel advertises an indoor pool but you are charged extra to use it. All in all, save your money and sanity and stay somewhere else!

Room is excelent, big and clean. The pool area and the bar is good too. However the food is a let down. Food is generally cold and of poor quality.
Very steep walk from the beach.
Safe is not free
Parking is not free
Hassle to get the towels. You need to pay at reception and collect at the spa which is a couple of floors down then on return you need to go to spa first then to reception and bring al the paperwork with you.
New Year's Eve dinner and party was very good although we got a slot for 6:15 which being Spanish I found too early
Overall ok but will not repeat or recommend

The hotel is very nice, clean, with comfortable rooms, a good pool area and a decent gym. Its position on a hill doesn't make it difficult at all to reach the beach or the city centre by foot. A bit of exercise is always good on holiday. The negative points are the food and the wifi. Despite advertising wifi in the rooms, the service is non existent on the room. You can only have wifi on the reception area and the signal is awful, weak and keep disconnecting. With regards to the food, the buffet style prevent the dishes of being fresh. Fish and meat are actually very dry, hard and not for sure the best cut. Fruit and vegetable are not fresh (as you could expect from a southern island) but coming out directly from a tin. Bread was good though. If you want to eat healthy, well...forget it, pizza will be your choice most of the time. The queuing system is not the hotel's fault but the guests themselves have no clue how to approach a buffet, how to be fast and efficient. Anyway, overall it has been a good relaxing experience.

One of the best hotels we've stayed in.

We were very impressed with this hotel, having read some of the reviews we were a bit concerned before we left but all four of us ended up being very impressed and thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay. Excellent choice of food at every meal time and always different choices at lunch and dinner. Wine, beer, sangria, snacks and other drinks on tap throughout the day, we couldn't find fault with anything. The cleaning was faultless and there were always plenty of staff on hand around the resort. The service in the dining hall was excellent with very polite, hard working staff, the entertainment staff were great with some very impressive dancers. All in all we would definitely go back. We heard a few moans from a minority of people but then there's no pleasing some people who will find fault with anything so if you're not one of these then you'll love it too.

Enjoyable return visit.

We had a good holiday here. We enjoyed our meals and felt there was a good choice each day. The animation team were great and injected a fun atmosphere throughout the day. Yes, there is a steep walk from the beach to the hotel which may pose a problem if you have limited mobility, but for us it became part of our daily exercise and an excuse for cheese and biscuits after dinner! The nudists on the beach may be a consideration for those with children, but of course thats an issue for the whole area, not just this hotel. Personally, I found it amusing and a good promotion for factor 30+ suncream.

All inclusive...not really!

Left early after only a few days. Called before booking to verify all inclusive was any drinks, can eat at any restaurant, can use spa, and other details only to get there and find out just the opposite. We were told sit down restaurant available to us staying longer than 6 days but upon arrival told need reservations and can only access 1 time. Spa must have reservation, 9Eur rent per day for a towel, and limited 45 minutes. Inclusive drinks limited to those premade in a pitcher which after sitting there a while, those mixed drinks are not good, many drinks such as margarita are not free. Slush machines not on or working much of the time. No coffee served in buffet at dinner. Had to walk out by lobby and get coffee for after meal. Loud music all over grounds-no place to sit and quietly read a book anywhere. Wall of our sea view balcony so tall that when you sit in chairs you see nothing but the cement wall. Buffet was just that - mass tourism style of luke warm at best food. The village is a hike away and small. Don't make same mistake we did- chose a different hotel to start. Recommend Corralejo area on north part of island as it is much nicer area, more restaurants, more to see and do, and found a much better hotel!

Basic Hotel standard

We were told we had a superior room with a queen size bed but this was in fact two single beds pushed together which is hardly great for a romantic getaway. The hotel cash point had broken the week before and was not mended as was the cigarette machine. Very few English speaking guests and we spoke to no one for 3 days as there were no English people there. The restaurant smelled like a butchers and considering this is supposed to be a four star resort the food was very basic but they are obviously catering for hundreds of guests so not easy. The pools were beautiful and although the pictures of the hotel suggest it is right by the sea, it is in fact a long way up a very steep hill and this would take a good 20 minutes to reach on foot from the beach. All in all it was ok but we would not go back.

All good except -- very bad coffee.TV channels mostly in German language- no possible to find any channel in English except CNN . Nothing to do in the evening -- animation team need to be improved.

Had a thoroughly enjoyable week at the hotel, made more pleasant by the wonderful weather. The food was excellent, plenty of varied choice at all sittings. The dining room is fairly small for the number of guests and some days it was difficult to find a table for two. The gym needs updating as some of the equipment didn't work, e.g. The running machine, the cross trainer, and one of the static bikes was very unstable to the point of being quite dangerous. The mini golf is a joke, with some holes almost impossible to complete. I thought all inclusive would have included the cost of the car park, mini golf and wi-fi, but these were all extras. Needless to say the car park and the mini golf was empty, and we walked down to one of the many restaurants on the front with free wi-fi connection when we wanted to contact home.

Can't say more than \"we'll be going back\".
Great to be adults only, pool area is great and the good is high class.
The only slight niggle was the attitude of the restaurant manager when we asked why some clients had chips, salad and veg with their meal \"they asked for it\" was his reply. \"but it's not on the menu\" we said, so maybe you might have told us that's it's available - he just shrugged!

A good hoilday but we wished we had better service

It was the hoilday we needed as it was close to a great beach. The resort had everything we needed and the hotel met our needs . It was just the quality of the evening meal and the entertainment . They had an Italian restaurant were the food and service was fantastic but this was not repeated in the main restaurant . The staff need a few lessons in customer service and the chefs need to favour the food . The hotel needs to replace it mattress .

Relaxing holiday, excellent food

The premium rooms are in a small separate area in what is a huge family resort. The rooms are average size and well furnished - I'd recommend a deluxe see view at least, otherwise you'll probably end up at the ground level by the pool area.

The premium area around the pool is fairly small but has one benefit: silence. Nothing against kids but it makes a huge difference. There's also a bar exclusive for premium guests.

The food was amazing - 3 a la carte restaurants to choose from. Limited menu, but was among the best I ever had in a resort.

The beach is quite a bit of a walk, but beautiful and not crowded.

The evening entertainment was quite awful in the main area of the hotel. But that's not what we came for.

Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating.

Hotel is at the top of a steep hill - no problem to us as we had a car. The food at the hotel was the best I have had for all-inclusive buffet food. The food on New Year's Eve was exceptional with lobster, langoustines & other seafood as well as a great selection of meats. The swimming pools at the hotel are well designed but freezing cold. The pools were empty for the length of our stay not even children ventured into the freezing waters. The rooms were perfectly adequate but the soundproofing was non-existant. A very noisy French family moved into the room next door but fortunately this was only for the last 2 days of our visit. The hot pipe to the bidet was not connected so only cold water. Two out of three lights in the bathroom were not working. The lights were fixed the day before we left!The staff were very friendly. No long queues at the bar and no restrictions on the amount of alcohol dispensed. The resort itself now has many shops & bars closed. Those shops & bars left open were mostly empty. Without the high profile German market the resort would be dead.

Ok if you dont want to go anywhere and just sleep

the good points .The staff were great,The room was of a good standard.The bad points,the hotel is up a very steep hill there is a bus that goes up and down but it is a local bus.,the food was of canteen standard and all meat was well over cooked and tuff.Isuppose the saying you only get what you pay for comes to mind but this was a 4 star hotel I think it should be a 3 star.I must say that the staff and staff member a young man at the pool bar was very good at his job.The worst point of this hotel is the cats when we were at the snack bar about 5 or 6 were sitting by residents while they were eating what has happened to hygeane ?and I must say all well fed.At one point a person left thier food to get a napkin and a cat jumped on the table to grab the food if it wasnt for another resident shooing it away that would have gone.However it does not help the situation if residents keep feeding them.This is not good to see around food.We found the downtown area not very much going .The beach is fantastic a must ,but because there is not much in town .Its quite small.

As a hotel it is not bad, just not very good, made dreadful by terrible food and the knowledge that there are MUCH better places to stay in this area at better prices.

The hotel is located on the top of a very steep hill, with the rooms laid out in blocks down the hill surrounding the pools, towards its sister hotel the playa.

The room furnishings are cheap (nylon bedspreads and curtains), with tired old saggy mattresses. Due to the layout of the blocks, the vast majority of rooms only have a view of the next block 40' away.

The public areas of the hotel are poor, half the sun loungers and patio chairs look like they should have been thrown away several years ago, and the restaurant has all the ambiance of a canteen, and smells (and not in a good way).

Now most of the above would be acceptable were it not for the appalling food. It is utterly dreadful. Cheap and nasty food that is served cold. When I complained the chef tested the temperature of the pasta sauce which had been on display for an hour or so, and it was 50.7c. Yes FIFTY degrees. Bath water is warmer!. But seriously, 50c is not hot enough to keep the food safe when it is on display for several hours.

I have tried to moderate this, so it doesn't come across as one of those mad rant reviews, but honestly, would I recommend that you stay here? Only if you had run over my dog, and even then I would probably take sympathy on you and suggest you try somewhere (anywhere!) else. Please do it, for your own sake.

Nice place, I wish to coming back to see Fuerteventura again

Nice, clean hotel but too big for me (many people). Kindness staff, good food, clean rooms but hard beds (I can`t sleep comfortable). A bit far from the beach (hotel is on the top of hill, however it may be good excercise, walk around 10-15 min). Close bus stop and local market. Nice people and beautiful place, long stunning beaches with perfect clean ocean :) Good jogging/cycling condition. I love it and recommend.

Good price-quality ratio. The hotel room was clean and functional though it would be good to have a curtain in the bathtub as otherwise the whole bathroom gets wet. Food was good - quite a selection. Slightly dated rooms, common spaces were good, looked out for.

Poolområdet var bra.
Plus var att den ena poolen var uppvärmd, att det fanns bra grunda delar för barnen samt att de var stora och hade en fin naturlig form.
Minus var att det inte fanns några parasoll, att marplattorna runtomkring var extremt hala samt att det dånade ut hög musik ur ett par sprängda högtalare.

Rummen var ganska slitna men ok. Sängarna sköna. Väldigt lyhört så vi hörde grannen snarka.

La SPA è chiusa, le sdraio attorno alla piscina e al parco acquatico sono poche. La stanza è buia e il bagno è da ristrutturare. Per il resto mi è piaciuto. Il personale è molto gentile ed è tutto pulitissimo. Il bilancio è positivo, ci sono alcuni aspetti da migliorare.

Nous sommes venu passer une semaine en février pour notre lune de miel et ça a été génial ! On s’est bien reposé, le personnel est adorable et toujours serviable et souriant. Je suis très contente. C’était à la fois calme et bonne ambiance. Petits bémols : isolation phonique et thermique pas génial. On entendait le vent souffler par les joints de fenêtre donc ça fait un peu de sons et sifflements mais sinon très bien et propre. L’hôtel n’est pas jeune donc forcément il a certaines petites traces du temps mais literie et draps et sanitaires niquels. Sincèrement je reviendrais. Petite mention spécial au jeune homme à l’entrée du restaurant buffet qui parle portugais et qui a été génial durant notre séjour. Agréable, souriant, de bons conseils sur les produits et serviable. Des éléments pareils sont rares et précieux donc à récompenser.

Kan ikke si noe godt eller dårlig om dette hotellet, det er bare et gjennomsnittlig hotell, gjennomsnittlig mat, gjennomsnittlig tilbud. Kø til baren, kø til resepsjonen. Hotellansatte varierer fra veldig effektive og hyggelige til håpløse. Hvis du er ute etter et godt all-inclusive, finnes det bedre alternativer. Hvis du, som meg, tilbringer mesteparten av tiden utenfor hotellet, vil du sannsynligvis være fornøyd.

I usually do not go to all inclusive hotels because my experience is always the same ( low quality food, low quality drinks, and low quality of guests)
This place is huge
outside of town, and hill up from the beach.

There is an indoor and outdoor eating area - the charm of it is like a hospital cantina and so is the food . Plastik chairs and a big loud hall with no Atmosphäre.

The food is simple and missing creativity and healthy options ( fruit salad, healthy greens)

The entertainment was for children

The Dinks ( Wein ) I could not have - it gave me an headache. Mix drinks all low quality

There where lots of old people around or young people with babies

The workers where all very pleasant

Die Anlage ist super schön. Zwei Pools und viele Liegen (immer genügend frei)

Zimmer
Wir hatten Unwetter und es hat an vielen Stellen reingeregnet, nicht ein bisschen, sondern sehr viel! Keine Entschuldigung an der Rezeption, sondern lediglich die Info, dass es mittags aufhört zu regnen und das Zimmer gereinigt wird.
Es war super laut! Bei geschlossener Tür hört man den Fernseher und das Schnarchen der Nachbarn.

Bars
Es gibt genug Bars, aber die Wartezeit ist teilweise wirklich hoch. Wasser gibt's in Plastikflaschen. Allerdings auch bereits eine Stunde nach Öffnung bereits vergriffen.

Restaurant
Das Personal war mehr als überfordert, obwohl nicht viel los war. Leider bis auf ein, zwei Ausnahmen am Eingang unfreundlich. Die Teller wurden sehr langsam abgeräumt. Essen leider meist kalt und geschmacksneutral.

Rezeption
Leider wirklich unfähig! Ich habe an den Aufenthalt noch eine Übernachtung dazu gebucht (direkt auf der Hotelseite). Vorab per Mail gefragt, ob das Zimmer behalten werden kann und.. An der Rezeption bei Check-In nochmals drauf hingewiesen, dass der Aufenthalt eine Nacht länger geht - kein Problem! Leider hat es mit geklappt. Ich wurde heute angerufen bin zur Rezeption und da hieß es, wir hätten auschecken müssen... Puh, nein! Keine Entschuldigung... Hast mich Zeit und Nerven gekostet.

Ich komme eigentlich gern in das Hotel, aber dieses Mal nicht

Grand hôtel avec vue sur mer

Très grand hôtel avec de belles suites Deluxe vue sur mer. Piscines sympa avec beaucoup de transats. Parking privé fermé pour 5€/jour. Rien à redire sur la propreté des chambres et le confort, sauf la climatisation qui ne refroidi pas assez.
Le gros point faible de ce type d'hôtel est la partie restauration, c'est une véritable usine. Nous étions en demi-pension, le soir nous avons été parqués dans un coin de la salle pour pouvoir être surveillés et surtout nous faire payer en supplément toutes les boissons même les softs. Et le matin, au petit déjeuner, une véritable catastrophe, les tables sales, pas de couverts. Le personnel était dépassé par le nombre de personnes dans la salle.
Heureusement que nous n'étions là que pour une nuit car nous n'aurions pas pu tenir une semaine entière.

Wir waren bereits das zweite Mal in dieser Anlage. Vor allem das leckere Essen und das freundliche Personal ist hervorzuheben.

Was uns nicht gefällt ist, dass um 7 Uhr morgens schon Liegen reserviert und seitens des Hotels nicht durchgegriffen wird. Außerdem ist es im Restaurant immer sehr laut. Allerdings sind das wohl Dinge, die zu einer Anlage in dieser Größe einfach dazugehören.

Am unteren (kälteren) Pool haben wir immer noch eine Liege gefunden. Dort ist es außerdem auch viel ruhiger, sodass wir diesen ohnehin bevorzugt haben.

Zum Strand läuft man 10 Minuten, was uns persönlich gar nichts ausmacht. Der Strand ist traumhaft!

Il y a pleins d’équipements (piscine intérieure, sauna, HAMMAM, jacuzzi… MAIS C’EST PAYANT EN SUS et pas indiqué sur hôtel.com lors de la réservation. Dès l’arrivée on vous pousse à payer un supplément all inclusive en sus de la demi-pension… lors du buffet le soir vous vous servez une boisson et hop on vient vous apporter la note !… trois jours et réclamations pour savoir comment avoir un verre d’eau gratuit… nourriture industrielle et toujours la même, gastro garantie !

Nette Anlage, falsch geführt

Ich habe mir zahlreiche Unterkünfte auf Fuerteventura angesehen. Diese hier hat mir von allen am schlechtesten gefallen zu den Gründen. Service: Der Service ist katastrophal, da schlicht unterbesetzt. Beim Abendessen mit Halbpension wartet man gerne Mal 40 Minuten auf Getränke, Checkin-Schlangen teils 1h oder länger. Das Personal hingegen ist sehr freundlich, trotz dem Stress. Essen: In meinen Augen wirklich nicht gut, sceckt relativ fade. Komfort und Zustand: Eigentlich ist die Anlage Recht schön, aber leider hoffnungslos überladen. Für die Menge an Gästen sind die öffentlichen Anlagen viel zu klein. Das war auch nirgends anders auf der Insel so. Sauberkeit: Da gibt es nichts zu meckern, keine Ahnung wie das Personal das bei dieser Unterbesetzung hin bekommt.

Besonders negativ ist zu erwähnen, dass man selbst bei Halbpension ein Bändchen wie bei All Inclusive tragen muss. Das geht gar nicht.
