The room itself was decent but the common areas left much to be desired. I was on the 4th floor and it was so warm. It also smelled like weed. The room was a bit dated but the bed was comfortable.

The elevator needed to be cleaned as well. There was dirt all over the floor.

I’ll likely not stay here again

This is our 2nd stay at this hotel. The room was very spacious and clean. They had 2 elevators. Only 1 was working. The working elevator had a TERRIBLE chemical smell. We had to hold our breaths every time we were in it. I checked in around 930 pm. I waited about 10 mins before someone came to the desk. They did have a sign saying they would be back, that they were helping a guest. A lady on the phone finally came from outside and checked me in. The breakfast was not good at all. TheOverall our stay was good. If they would fix the elevator smell, we would definitely stay there again.

I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. Everything was exactly what I expected—in the best way possible. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was welcoming and relaxing.

The staff were friendly and helpful whenever I had a question, and check-in and check-out were smooth and easy. The amenities and services were all reliable and worked just as they should, which made the whole experience stress-free.

Sometimes the best thing about a hotel stay is when everything simply works the way it’s supposed to, and that was definitely the case here. It was a comfortable, dependable place to stay, and I would gladly book here again on a future trip.

When I arrived I was told thr elevator was out and they didn’t know when it would be fixed. Then they told me (a sixty three year old woman). The room they had for me was in the 4th floor. I explained I could not carry my bags up 4 flights of stairs. They found one on the second floor and I laughed my bags up by myself.
Thr room was clean but the bathroom floor was sticky and the tiles were loose.
Thr bed was at least very comfortable.
The hotel is in the same parking lot as Buffalo Wild Wings and parking in the front is limited. The parking lot on the side had very poor lighting and as a woman traveling by myself I did not feel comfortable parking there

I booked this hotel near the airport because I need to get to there to rent a car, on check in I was told the shuttle didn't run on the weekend! I had to pay for a Lyft. I also wanted a pool and though I did get to swim once it was very cold and dirty. My room was fine and the staff tried to be helpful.

It seemed ok, my daughter had gotten there first to check in, until I arrived. We were on the second floor and the elevator was out. When asked, the clerk said they had a call in to get it fixed ASAP. The next day, I had surgery and returned to the hotel after 4pm; elevator not repaired. I did ask that they give me two first floor rooms (I had book a two bedroom suite)as close to each other; they did. That was okay, but my family had to tote all of our gear up and down two flights of stairs. On Friday morning, when we went down to have a much awaited for breakfast, there were no eggs or bacon. The clerk said the truck didn’t show up. I used to work in the hospitality industry. I know there’s a petty cash fund. An employee could have gone to a reputable grocery and purchased eggs and bacon. I am hoping this helps with your training.

We had a great assist checking in by a very polite hostess. Our room wasn't quite ready so she found us an upgrade and put us there. The additional space was great; not necessary but still appreciated and the suite was immaculate. Nice people and a nice room. Was a good evening :)

The rooms were okay but the customer service from the front desk was terrible. The check in lady was very rude and terse.. there was no hello how are you today, no thank you, no your welcomes just blank states and straight to the pint answers. Checking out today was even worse. A gentlemen at the front desk said hello with a mail and the same women from check in just said you can drop keys there in box. I said is that it? As i usually give the keys to the person at the desk and get asked questions like how the day was.. all this lady said was yup.. and i walked away and she said no thank you, no you're welcome, didn't ask about the stay. The customer service is terrible. Have someone at the front desk that is excited to be at work and can at least make the customers feel welcome and noticed. Especially working at the front desk you are the fave of the hotel. Horrible experience

Breakfast was great! The pet fee of $75 was excessive, the highest I’ve ever paid. If we had known prior to arrival, we would’ve made different arrangements. Room was clean, staff were helpful, location was well lit and quiet.

Oh my God, the ladies at the front desk were really phenomenal. They were accommodating really really nice. They answered my calls. They were so friendly and the gentleman. I believe he’s the maintenance guy/shuttle driver, sweet as pie very pleasant. I’m just great the breakfast that they offer is so so good I think honestly those are the best biscuits I’ve had in my life so I traveled from Pennsylvania to Austin Taxes. I’ve never been to Texas before but I had a great time. Thank you. Highly recommend this Place.

The front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly and efficient. The room was clean. I have stayed in this location about once a year for several years. I have reduced my rating to 4 stars because the hotel is becoming a little run down. Tattered furniture and well-worn paint. I hope the building will be getting a well-deserved refresh soon.

I had a wonderful stay here. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. It felt safe. The breakfast had a good variety of choices daily. Lots of space to get all my walking in. Several restaurants within walking distance and movie theatre. It is a haul from downtown and the Lift, Uber etc. directions to their drivers always bypassed the hotel so when I called for a car I had to make sure to stand outside by the Staybridge sign. I used their airport shuttle which was very convenient.

We got a suite and were greeted by cockroaches upon arriving back to the hotel one night. It was very inconvenient to change rooms at 2 am. Our group ended up being split into different rooms and after showering a HUGE spider surprised my friend that she had to dry herself with a washcloth and ended up leaving to a different hotel that evening. Because we booked through a hotels.com the hotel refused to give us any kind of refund. The staff was nice and understanding but there is just no excuse specially when we paid a little under $1000 for our stay! Will not stay here again!

Property was nice unfortunately the room we got air conditioner was dumping water onto rug. Hotel fully booked no other rooms available. Maintenance tried fixing and used a shop vac on rug. Hotel management wouldn’t give discount on room. Even though they acknowledged there was a problem. Feel sorry for whoever gets room in future because it will be a moldy mess.

Was really bad. To start with, I made a call to an agent to ask for early check out, but was denied as they mentioned the room will be thouroughly cleaned and ready for us. Hence, we checked in late as we changed our plan. The AC units on our room was leaking with water running to the carper, one of the room had no air conditioning since someone had closed the vents. Trrible experienc,e the hallways smelled really bad as if there we some drugs . The break fast was promosed to be good, but rhe sausages were the driest I've ever seen. You could technically throw it at someone and get them hurt . Real bad.

I had to walk down a hall that was swap everyday. The carpet was so wet it splashed when I walked. They only has little box fan blowing on the carpet 40 feet long. God only knows what was behind the wall I could not see. I am worried about mold. I will not be going back.

2nd time booking here. We enjoy the room size and pet friendly bookings. Our family has enjoyed the complementary hot breakfast. Especially the waffle design. We also love the pool area. The hours are wonderful and the staff always have fresh pool towels. The rooms are comfortable I do wish the rooms had a DVD player or more channels but that’s nothing serious. The pillows are extra soft i definitely had to use more then one and the bed are soft. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Heads up door dash/ other delivery services do seem to have a hard time with deliveries. There is a neighboring hotel and there have a few wrong:missing deliveries dropped at the neighboring hotel.

The bed and pillows were absolutely a dream...the breakfast was wonderfully filling with a wide variety of staples and surprisingly delicious extras, and the staff were friendly & responsive when we reported our room phone had no dial tone. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Best place to stay when visiting Austin!

We loved staying here! Michael, the manager at the front desk, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. He was sincerely sweet and hospitable. The breakfast buffet was crazy good! The food was freshly cooked and plentiful. Our room was very quiet with a comfortable bed, well-equipped mini kitchen and nice big TV. We will be staying again!

Bathroom shower head needed tightening. Toilet kept running after flush. Shower curtain wasn’t long enough resulting in a lot of water on bathroom floor. Got locked in bathroom as latch was broken. Booked 2 queens and received a call as I was entering parking lot to tell me they didn’t have any available. Stated issue was with Expedia. Fortunately had king accessible room available, but it was musty smelling.

Always stay here when I come to Austin and this is the 3rd or 4th time I’ve been here since December and it’s great .
Only constructive criticism I would have would be 1) get better lounger chairs and maybe some canopies or something for a little shade at the pool. 2) elevators are blazing hott and smell no matter when you get in them.

On arrival the elevators smelled like weed. The room had a box fan to either dry the carpet or to keep the room cool due to the AC not working properly. After check out we was charged $50 for “alleged clogged sink” when the garbage disposal never work properly & i knew that by mistaking it for a light switch. Wouldnt recommend staying at this particular location
