The breakfast restaurant in this hotel dropped the ball. The food was undercooked and my French toast was so soggy that it was mush. I know this restaurant is sub contracted, but someone needs to get better cooks! Very disappointed.

Front check in staff was very friendly and helpful. I appreciate the free shuttle to and from the airport.

I found the hallway carpet on the fourth floor very dirty. Carpet needed a good cleaning. My room was clean and comfortable.

Room was properly cleaned and organized, excellent housekeeping staff. Grounds well trimmed and pool nice and clean.

Cons: Restroom exhaust fan not working fan packed with dirt. Sink faucet needed to be greased.
Shower handle loose and shower water spout diverter hardly stop water rise. Lots of water being wasted.

Hotel overall was good. I'm not a fan of those hotels that their water stays standing in the bathtub when showering, or sinks not draining quickly, but other than that everything was clean and great for what we needed. I'd stay here again if needed in the future.

Rooms are clean and property is very clean and the restaurant offered great service and food the only thing that was not good is the receptionist in obtaining house keeping service for our room she was not helpful when I asked for room service she just told me they will get there when they get there I found it very rude and room service came too late so I never got a housekeeper to clean my room

While the overall cleanliness was good and the staff were very friendly & helpful, I was disapointed that the hot tub was broken and the bar was closed which is weird for a weekend. Also, it was advertised as breakfast included which was not the case.

I was at this property for 13 nights. Rooms were pretty clean except for the floors, which were filthy. I ended up moping them myself & after the first pass, the water was completely black. I thought the floors were worn, turns out they were completely disgusting. It was also very clear that under the beds is hardly ever being swept.

One of the reviews on google mentioned the bottom sheet is being put on sideways, I also found this to be true, after two nights the bedding was such a mess I had to pull all the covers off and make the bed properly myself.

Around the halfway part of my stay, I asked for my room to be cleaned. The result was honestly a little odd. Cups & coffee station were refreshed, but not tp, tissues, or soap. I received a fresh hand towel & washcloth, but not large towels. The beds were made but with the same sheets as i already had (I could tell because they were mismatched & had sharpie stains all over them). For some reason, they were again made with the bottom sheet sideways (??!!).

Virtually all the fitness center equipment was broken or questionably functional & the jets in the hot tub did not work.

The wall unit thermostat was not accurate.

I appreciated the free coffee in the lobby every morning, but the rest of the items for purchase seemed frequently out of stock. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Staff was nice.

Probably wouldn’t stay again, but would be a good choice for someone who wants to be close to DT without paying a lot.

First room AC not working. We had to repack and move to another room. It was right above the bar and pool area. The music didn't go off until after 11:00 even though no one at the pool which was unheated. Hot tub was out of order also. Overall a disappointment.

I paid for a casita suite which I thought would’ve been better than a regular room. It was average not very clean. The water in the shower took forever to warm up. Our sink broke and the water would not stop running. We had to get then to just turn the water off to that sink. Luckily there was another.

The registration was less than 3 minutes.
My room was in the first floor. The room was immaculate. The restroom was super clean. The amenities were available. The area and surrounding room were not noisy. The cleaning staff were courteous and acknowledged your stay and greetings were pleasant. All in all I rated better than the hotel(s) in New York.

The bed was hard, lumpy and creaked loudly with every move. I was wakingup every two hours. At 530 am i talked to the front desk about the beds. The woman said all the beds are the same. I asked about canceling thenext two nights. She said come back after 7am when rhe manager is in. Management wasnt in at 7 and the new woman there Sharron maybe said ahe couldnt cancel. But she pretended she did. I found out because i called expedia immediately after. Expedia canceled for me. The reviews for your hotel must be fake because it was not nearly as nice a place as reviewers said. I ended up in the aiden hotel the other two nights. So much nicer. Had many bad Wyndom hotels in the past years. The quality has gone way down, im not going to choose you anymore.

Due to a delayed flight, when I arrived at the hotel, the doors were locked and thank goodness someone was at the front desk to let me in, but there was no notice about this prior to arrival. Once I got to my room, the furniture was peeling and when I went to get in bed, the sheets felt like laying on sandpaper. This could be due to my sensitive skin, but it was unbearable to the point I had to cut my stay there short and move to another hotel. The staff was understandable with me leaving, but they also had a lot of issues giving me the correct amount back to my card.

The staff are great, very friendly and try to do the best they can. The room was as expected, clean, comfortable and inviting. However the amenities offered did not impress. They have a restaurant but apparently no one staffs it. I called them twice for room service but no answer, walked down to sit and one lady just sitting there i think is staff but no way to order. We left. The bar is a nice touch but make sure your pockets are deep, 35 bucks for 2 whiskey and cokes. Overall i would stay here again, it is a nice property.

The Wyndham was a good hotel for a 5 day business trip to Austin as it was located very near the central business and entertainment areas with lots of dining choices nearby. The staff was always friendly and helpful.

the room was very clean and comfortable. For me, the best part was that the room stayed cool at the temperature I set it at throughout the night. I loved that they provided soft pillows and also a set of firmer pillows. The staff was very attentive and very kind. The only suggestion I would make would be to place the shampoo, creme rinse and body wash in dispensers in the shower; the small bottles that were provided were too hard to squeeze out the product.

The staff was wonderful, as they always are. The rooms are always clean. The location is really good for me as it's less than 10 minutes away from my daughter when I visit. For the second consecutive stay there was a major problem in a room on the first floor. This time it was no air conditioner and the tv couldn't receive any signal. The hot water never got warmer than lukewarm.The time before it was a water leak on the floor. The staff took great care of me and moved me to another room both times. Again, the staff and cleanliness of hotel are perfect! I know it's just a matter of time before everything gets taken care of.

Staffs were okay but room was terrible!!!! Heating/thermostat didn’t work, bathtub was nasty with molds and features basically came out of the wall (bar for elderly to hang onto when getting in and out of the tub), and toilet didn’t flush well. We asked for two queen beds in a room but got two double and one of the beds made terrible noise every time I turned anyit was soooo loud, it woke up every one in the toom. TV didn’t work, came on once when the staff tried to fix, couldn’t not turn it on after he left as it flashed “no signal”.
None of in that room feel that anyone is checking the properly and Expedia should not list them in their site.
I will NOT recommend this hotel to anyone!!!

I’m thinking maybe the hotel was dead because of holiday week? Good room rate. I asked for medium well burger but it was too rare. Staff I conversed with were friendly. Nice shuttle service to airport. It was great walking distance location (0.7 miles) to my daily activity.

The rooms are dirty and have a terrible smell. The shower was so bad i had to wear socks and then throw them away after. I booked it for three nights but left after one night. There was actual poop in the lobby that someone stepped in and traveled the hotel with it. The hotel is in a terrible area of town as well. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

1. The room did not have a mini-fridge, although we called in advance and asked if our room would have one, and we were told it would. We have a Thanksgiving pie we needed to keep cool, and we ended up setting it on plastic bags of ice in the bathroom.
2. The toilet is so oddly placed (at an angle, under a countertop) that we had to search to find where the handle is, and to use it, we had to nearly stick our heads in the toilet.
3. The AC/heating unit was so noisy with a high-pitched whine that it woke us both up on and off during the night. It was like sleeping next to a jet engine turbine.

The check-in process was easy. The person I spoke to on the phone to book my room was rather rude, and the information they gave me wasn’t consistent with the website information. Everyone at the hotel was kind and helpful. The room was a good size, and the bed was comfortable. The linens were stained, and there wasn’t any soap in the room. Breakfast came quick, and the food was good. Got a quesadilla the night before and it came without any types of salsa or anything. The fitness center was decent. Overall it was a good stay, and the issues that came up were minor.

The room was alright, but not impressive. I’ve stayed last week in 2 hotels that were half the price with better rooms.

The 4th floor smelled like sour trash and musty carpet. The 3rd floor, which I had to go to because the ice machine on 4 was broken, had a different type of unpleasant odor.

The hotel can’t seem to decide on a theme and probably should have just not tried. There’s a jungle theme, and musician theme. And sort of a rustic vibe all blended terribly together.

The elevator that actually opened consistently had a door that was obviously struggling.

Breakfast was not included. Again hotels at half the price are at least doing that. A single tea bag was provided in the room for a tea drinker but no way to actually make hot water, you had to microwave the water in the lobby which is just not how tea is supposed to work.

Bought tea at the resturaunt, they only had decaffeinated and I had to take the bags out and make it myself, and they didn’t even have honey. As my throat was killing me, this was incredibly frustrating.

Every time I tried to get off the elevator to the lobby an employee almost ran me down trying to get on.

Overall it was mostly clean but felt like the place wasn’t clean or warm. One of the hotels I was in last week was literally under construction on every floor, with an elevator button hot glued back on and insulation in the halls, with hot water out for a day, and I would stay there again over this place for comfort & experience

Change if ownership kind are a thing of the distant past with the new leadership at the property.

This is a home run in terms of value for the money, cleanliness, and exceptional professionalism from every member of the staff I encountered.
