Nice newer property. Very accommodating staff all around.
Great location if you like the partying on Rainey st.
Of not, know that it can be very noisy.
We arrived on Sunday evening and even 11 floors up the street noise was very noticeable in our room. Loud bass and bar sounds plus some from the highway.
The next two nights were much quieter.
He hotel did provide a white noise machine which helped.

We had a great stay! The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating from start to finish. The hotel was beautifully decorated, spotless, and very well maintained. We especially enjoyed the pool area, and the bed was super comfortable. The location was perfect, just a hop, skip, and a jump from Rainey Street. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

I had a wonderful stay at Cambria Austin Downtown. The hotel is beautiful, clean, modern, and very comfortable. The staff was excellent, warm, friendly, and genuinely accommodating, which made the experience feel even more special. It has a classy, welcoming atmosphere, and I would highly recommend it.

It was clean and great. Floors weren’t carpet which I loved. Staff was helpful. Rooms seemed modern and clean. Bar was open late. Pool was not overly packed (the weekend was a little busier with some kids, but Thursday and Friday there were only a few people in the pool and no kids). Location was great. Valet was quick.

Good quality to value ratio hotel for downtown/ Rainey Street area of Austin. Can be a little noisy due to the Rainey Street bars / restaurants. However, during the week, the music finishes around 12am. Also, if you get a high floor it will be quieter. Highly recommended. I would stay again if I visited that area of Austin.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Cambria hotel in Austin. Rome was large and clean and modern. Breakfast in the morning was reasonably priced and good. Only issue I had was that the Internet was slow the first day. I called up and they had a technician look into it. They also gave me a card for a free coffee and pastry to apologize for the Internet slowness which I thought was nice of them. The hotel is located about a 5 minutes walk from Rainey Street with several eateries and live music. It is also near a very nice park with a lake. It is also like a 15-20 minute walk to 6th Street where other eateries and nightclubs are located.

Staff was amazing, hotel is clean and fairly modern. hotel is centrally located to everything, a quick walk to food and drinks and maybe a 10 minute ride share to more touristy areas. My only gripe is that the walls are paper thin. I could hear every cough sneeze and giggle from the room next door and they were wild! Also all the competing live music from the bars blended into one thumping sound to around 1 am. So if you aren’t a partier or are a light sleeper I wouldn’t recommend. Also the graffiti restaurant wasn’t the best, but there’s so many other places to try around the corner

We stay two nights, birthday celebration, Starting with the poor-quality toilet paper and the hard pillows, there is no parking available; they offer valet parking at the steep price of $56. They do not provide restaurant room service, so we went downstairs to get coffee; the bar was packed with over 20 people, with only two bartenders on duty, and they didn't even have a lighter to light some candles. Given the price we paid—and the standard of quality this hotel is supposed to uphold—it simply isn't worth it.

The property was nice but if you want coffee in the am there is none in the lobby or outside of your room without buying it. You have to use valet parking if you are driving & it was very expensive, I thought it would be better to stay downtown but will not do that again! It isn’t worth the extra cost & not even coffee except in your room was the last straw.

I really appreciated the convenience of the self-service market. I didn't get in until midnight and I was hungry but had no energy to find a place that still served food. The turkey sandwich was better than expected, and Ben & Jerry's is a personal favorite. It was so easy to grab a satisfying late-night snack.

We had a great stay for 3 nights here. We checked in late and appreciated the front desk taking care of us. We really enjoyed the room we had on a corner, 5th floor- yes, you could hear music and noise on the weekend, but IT\"S AUSTIN, we were fine with it and mostly out enjoying the city anyway. Good location in terms of walkability to some great spots around us. The pool area was very pretty, we wished there was a hot tub. We had a drink and snack up on the top floor and the view and vibes were nice, the bartender made a good martini. The parking is valet only which was a bit of an ordeal just to wait for someone to get to you, then get your car- they never sent us the text to be able to pre-get our vehicle when we needed it though we brought it up several times. They were very nice about it all. Overall we would recommend and could see staying here again on a future visit to Austin.

Amazing location! Ready St right behind with restaurants and bars. North Congress was about a 15 minute walk downtown. Rooms were current and clean and a heated pool as well. It was a great experience.

I enjoyed my stay at the Cambria Austin Downtown. The location is one of its biggest strengths — it’s close to several parks and green spaces, including the trails along Lady Bird Lake, which are just a short walk away. It’s also very convenient to the highway, making it easy to get in and out of the city without hassle.

Because it’s near the Rainey Street and downtown bar areas, there is some noise at night, but the neighborhood still feels safe and walkable, even for solo travelers. If you want to be close to the action, this is a great spot.

Valet parking is very expensive, but it’s also extremely convenient if you don’t want to deal with downtown parking yourself.

Overall, the hotel is modern, clean, and comfortable — a good place to stay if you want easy access to Austin’s parks, nightlife, and major roads.

After the first night, it was difficult to get extra sheets and towels, and our room was not cleaned during the stay.The day before we left housekeeping stepped up. Above all…. The staff was SO personable and welcoming. I accidentally booked the wrong day and they went above and beyond to book the correct day when I arrived and get me a refund from Expedia for the wrong date.

One of the reasons we wanted to stay here is because of the Limestone Bar at the top. Unfortunately, it was closed for a private event from 5-8pm (which was understandable), but the staff chose not to reopen the bar after the event. The service at the main bar downstairs was slow, there were two menu items that were not available, and the staff was not very friendly.

Very poor experience at the Cambria. The upstairs restaurant was closed for private events both of the nights we were there. Worse, the music coming from the street/bars on the the pool side of the property was so loud at night that the window in my 12th floor room was shaking. I was not warned of this in advance, and was never offered a room on the quiet side of the building (facing the freeway). I couldn't sleep, even with earplugs in. I called down to the desk asking for help and their only response was that \"Austin is a party and music city, so it's loud on that side of the building, but the bars will close at 2am\". I asked to be moved to another room and they refused. They offered me no solution and no accommodations whatsoever. I asked to speak to a manager, twice, and nobody responded. Truly unacceptable.

The facility was nicely designed, modern and clean with convenient nice touches in the room. There is a peekaboo view of the river and a nice lap pool to swim. It is conveniently located with an easy walk to good food, desserts and coffee. Lots of music and live bands too, so it will get noisy in the room as the sound echos. On a Fri-Sat night it will be loud music and go on to 2am but on Sunday and week nights it wasn’t too loud. We had 2 rooms, my wife and I and our 2 adult kids enjoyed our stay!

The hotel is clean and conveniently located. The restaurant staff is amazing. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. We were there for a retirement party, and they accommodated us with all we needed. It's located just behind a busy nightlife strip, so you can walk to the major restaurants, bars, and fun spots. Will return here if in Austin again.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel was very clean, the staff was super friendly, and the overall vibe of the place was beautiful. The food was also really good which was a nice bonus. The only downside was that it could get a little noisy at times because of the area it’s located in, but that’s not the hotel’s fault at all. They even provided ear plugs which I thought was a thoughtful touch. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely consider staying again.

This hotel was perfect! The hotel was beautiful and the location was fabulous! The weather wasn’t the greatest during our stay but having a heated pool outside still allowed my 11 year old to enjoy the pool. We would like to return to Austin and when we do, we will def stay here again.
