THE ORIGINAL ROOM I CHECKED INTO WAS HORRIBLE STAINS EVERYWHERE THE CEILING LOOKED AS IF THERE WAS MOLD, THE PROPERTY ISNT WELL MAINTAINED AT ALL, GOT MOVED RO ANOTHER UNIT ONLY TO ENCOUNTER THE SAME ISSUE ! IT STATES PARKING PROVIDED AND FREE OFFSITE PARKING. THERE WAS NONE ! ALSO DURING MY STAY, MY DOOR ACCESS CODE WAS GIVEN OUT TO SOMEONE OVER THE PHONE WHO WASNT A GUESNT ON THE RESERVATION PUTTING MY SECURITY AT JEOPARDY, THEY PROMISED A PARTIAL REFUND THEY HAVENT HONORED THAT AT ALL ! ALSO IN THE UNIT WAS NO SECURITY LOCK ON THE BACK OF DOOR ! THE FRONT DESK PERSON WAS DISREGARDING THE SITUATION AND PROVIDED NO ASSISTANCE AND HELP WITH THE ISSUE BESIDES MOVING ANOTHER UNIT WHICH AGAIN HAD VARIOUS ISSUES ! A FULL REFUND IS ACTUALLY DUE , BUT I SETTLED WITH PARTIAL AND TO NOW NOT EVEN GET THAT IS REALLY TROUBLING! PLEASE TAKE CAUTION !

Check in process was pretty bad and should have happened hours before so we checked in almost an hour late for two of the three apartments we rented. I had to repeatedly call the number for help Just to get a response. The kitchens were not stocked and ready to cook at all. There was a dirty wine glass in one of the apartments, one had a broken light for the only light in the room, one was missing a shower curtain and another only came with 2 towels and it took a while for anyone to answer to get more towels.
The location was great, we did enjoy that and the apartment ended up being good after all of the chaos of checking in. But it was not ready for how the listing was presented.

The hotel does not look like the pictures not at all. Our room was not clean I actually found to be looked like feces on the towels hanging in the bathroom thankfully I looked before drying off. It smells so dirty outside were this one is located. I would never stay here again best part balcony view.

It was terrible, I couldn’t even stay in the hotel and had to Book another hotel. When we got there, the toilet had fecal residue left it in, the bathtub was dirty, there were exposed wires in the room. It was just terrible. Don’t let those pictures fool you.

Very conveniently located. We arrived to a broken entrance, non-functioning elevator, and no hot water in the shower for the entirety of our stay. They did refund one night. I would not stay there again.

The bathroom in my room was not up to standards. The tub was stained with old caulking, some missing and several black areas. This made me very concerned about the full cleanliness of the entire room. The location was great and it appears they had done renovations. I hope they are still in the process and will update the bathroom.

It was cold and I couldn't get the thermostat to work. It was 30 degrees out and no warmer than 68 inside, which didn't help me warm up when I got inside. The photos didn't match the place. The photo looks more modern and comfortable. This place looked quickly remodeled. The floors were concrete (not wood like the pic) and there was one small rug in the living area, which contributed to the cold feel. Not inviting at all. It was good enough for my purposes (cheaper than nearby hotel options), but be aware there are a lot of homeless people around, super noisy (which I don't happen to care about) since it is on the busiest street in Austin, and it's not a place to hang out in. Fortunately, I had somewhere else to go every day, all day long. I slept there and the bed was comfy

I stayed in this building January 2024 and it was OK, came back in January 2025 and it has very much gone downhill. The lady in the front lobby working in the building was not friendly or very helpful. Our first room the balcony door was broken and I had to really push to be moved, even with the safety concern. Once we saw the unit we were being moved to, I realized how dirty BOTH units were. There was black mold in the shower all over the ceiling. We were only given sheets for blankets, and when I asked for blankets they gave us one (unit had two beds, and booked for three people). The homeless outside are very loud all night long, which we did expect the city to be loud so can’t totally hold it against, but just so you don’t expect to sleep well. The upstairs heat didn’t work on auto, and when we arrived the unit was set for only 60 and it was freezing. Overall would NOT recommend, especially for the price.

However, the kitchenware wasn’t clean upon arrival, and the balcony door was broken, which made the noise from outside more noticeable and allowed more cold air to come in. Most dishes appeared to have been cleaned in the dishwasher but some particles stuck on. Ended up soaking and handwashing them. Ice maker was not functioning and no ice cubes trays, at least trays to make ice would have been nice. Hallway light up the stairs to the loft is electrically connected to the bedroom light switch…a little strange.

Great place in the middle of busy Austin downtown
E 6th is a party street, if you don’t like noise, litter, etc., then don’t book around there, or just have earplugs handy. The loft was a spacious refurbished unit, a bit rough/rustic keeping some of the older fixtures while still being functional. It faced Brazos St, parking was an affordable rate at a parking lot right next to the building, real close walk. Check in was seamless, instructions were clear and timely. The place had all as advertised just be clear that there is only 1 bathroom (this is a 2 bedroom unit with a sofa bed in the living room, only space with a TV). The kitchen had basic equipment enough for a 4 guests stay. They provided paper towels, dish-soap and plenty of toilet paper and toiletries. Fridge was big, clean, and microwave, dishwasher, and stove were current, all functional and handy. Everything was clean, bathroom and linens were impecable. The mattresses were good, just a bit too soft for us. The balcony in a bedroom was cool to have. It is indeed loud, it was a Friday night just right before the Thanksgiving holiday but it’s probably a default loudness given this is one of the streets with most nightlife in Austin. The A/C and heater worked perfectly, and the water pressure in the shower was great. Improvements: I would update carpets and watch out towels cleaning, we noticed a big yellow stain on one. Provide more light in bedroom, send checkout instructions earlier as we got them way after we were gone. Diligent and courteous staff, cheers!

This place is on a ridiculously loud, busy corner, and it was comically loud (shouting drunk people, houseless people arguing, loud motorcycles) all night long (on a weekend). The windows need to be replaced for better insulation. Besides that, there was a terrible smell in the unit—kind of like a spicy pizza burp? It got worse the longer we were there. Check-in was good and the building was easy to access with the texted pin but I would not recommend.

The room was nothing like the photos. Yes there was a balcony, bed, couch, tv and the other usuals you’d find like towels and utensils. The loft was very dingy and not homey as it appeared in photos. The couch looked like it hadn’t been replaced in years and was torn in places and the whole place had a very stale and uncomfortable way of it. It was one of those places where maybe a group of drunk friends would be ok with, but I would never take my children there. We ended up not staying at all and drove the hour back home after our event. Next time I visit Austin I am absolutely paying more for an actual hotel.

Our entry into the property started poorly as our given code did not open the door to the building. We tried to get with the hotel rep and couldn’t for 10 minutes and had to stand outside with our bags around a large group of panhandlers. The parking deck provided only accommodates 6’6” high vehicles so our truck would not fit and had to park 2 blocks away. Shower was dirty also. Super loud area at night until around 2-3am on a weeknight.

We did not receive the code information to enter the building or room prior to arrival so had to call and make many attempts to finally reach a person who could help. Overall, poor communication and little regard to hospitality or being accommodating in regards to extending the stay or late check out. The building and room have the quality of a house quickly flipped for profit,i.e. poor quality and cheaply done. The great location for the night/bar scene is the main draw to stay here. The bed was comfortable. If you’re college age and looking to party, this is probably for you.

Home made barn doors separate the two “bedrooms” but doesn’t even close property. Holes in the walls and paint flaking off as well as really low standard finishes. I would be ok with this if the price reflected this and that they didn’t advertise with photos showing high ceilings and high end finishes.

As property has no humans, getting the right PIN code for building entry is literaly the most important thing. Instead, they sent wrong pin code, and did not reply for a half hour. Standing outside, with luggage, in unsafe area being harrased by local addicts.

Pro - Great location, clean, and full of amenities. Con - The workmanship of the decor is lacking, things are falling off the wall, and lights not working. It's convenient to be able to communicate with customer service via text, but when things don't work, they cannot provide immediate support.

what I didn't like about this property this is an old building and it need to be upgrade the pictures that they have online are not true the apartment had a very bad smell with rust spots ,mold, mildew, stains and it had stain carpet i really think that this could be a good place to stay if they can put some money into it and also the parking for just 2days was kind of high the only thing that i can say about what i like was the Location it's on 6th street with a balcony that faces 6th street with crackheads that sits across the streets buying drugs all day long so all i can say is stay at your own risk so sorry for the disappointing commit but the truth is the truth.....

This property is in a great location for 6st fun. Alot of homeless in the area make it feel sketchy. Loft was comfortable and a great layout for grouos. Could use some plumbing upgrades but it was a good stay and we will return.

It was very dusty, the dead bug in the bathroom was disconcerting. The air vents throughout apartment were caked in dust and debris. Bathroom towels were very limited ( only a tiny hand towel in main floor bathroom)
Upside it was very close to dining and night life ( lots of street people too unfortunately) not quite sure how safe the area is if you’re alone. We were 4 ladies so we felt ok.
