The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff friendly. The breakfast is just ok. Hot items were cold. The problems with this hotel for me were: the parking is valet for $45. There is a parking garage across the street for $35 and most people using it didn’t seem to pay at all.
There is a club behind the hotel that thumped so loudly half the night and street racers woke us up revving and squealing their tires very late. That is a problem if that’s not the vibe you are going for. The pool was cloudy and uninviting. The air con was struggling in the lobby and halls but not in our room, thank goodness. It would have been much better to stay out of downtown and drive to the event since you have to pay for parking either way,

We loved our stay. The room was extra large. There is a full sized microwave and dishwasher. A mini fridge including separate freezer area. There are glasses, dishes, flatware (including steak knives), pots and cooking utensils. When I realized they used down products, the staff was in our room in 10 mins changing things out for us. They only have Valet parking which is $45/day but it doesn't take long to get your car and most of them are very helpful. They have a little shop where you can get drinks and snacks, tv dinners and other things day or night. The pool is small, but they state that on the website. They have a safety feature I liked. You have to use your room key to use the elevator. We didn't get up early enough for breakfast.

The hotel was clean, quiet, and the staff was helpful. It was located within a ten minute walk to the Texas State Capitol and a short Uber to U of T Austin. The complimentary breakfast was excellent! Loved the steel cut oats in the morning. Lots of others breakfast staples available also. And the coffee can't be beat! Be aware though that the parking in Austin can be costly. It was forty five a night at the hotel and around thirty five in the surrounding parking structures. Uber and Lyft is probably the best way to get around and the Waymo robo-taxis are everywhere and easy to ride. For location, price and convenience to tourist spots and dining this hotel is the best choice. We would stay again. Thank you!

Attended a concert and the hotel was very ideal and within walking distance for the commute to and from the concert which was also a plus with being valet parked and not having to worry about parking.Staff was super friendly and welcoming…Rooms were clean. Plenty of breakfast available for all guests staying at hotel.

Staff were amazing, they even lent us towels after checkout, so that we could go to the Springs. The hotel is otherwise a standard Hyatt property. There was temporary AC in the Lobby, but they are in the process of fixing that.

The front desk staff, breakfast staff and house keeping. Nothing was too much. Valet service was also excellent and staff did not mind retrieving our car any time we needed. Our room was perfect for grandma outing with her grand kids.

The pool is tiny. Rooms were nice and spacious. AC was out on the first floor. They brought in a portable AC but it wasn’t much cooler than outside so the lovey and breakfast area were very stuffy. Staff was nice, front desk was constantly on the phone helping people every time we came up. They could definitely use a separate person to handle the phones. It is downtown, but a bit off the beaten path. I wouldn’t walk far at night. Valet parking is as great. Bed and pillows were a bit firm and housekeeping barged in to my kids room at 9am without knocking then abruptly left. I would stay here again, but there was room for improvement.

The room was a good size with kitchen. Water pressure was terrible. Went down to search for Kleenex and tp and staff said they’d send it up. Never came even after calling. 2 hrs later we found a maid in the hall. Location was just ok and staff not very friendly.

This property looks great on paper. We couldn't use the green pool, the entire downstairs for gym, breakfast, business center though they had rescue air installed, was very hot. The usual breakfast was fine and gym equipment good and staff very nice and helpful. When leaving they did not give me the expedia credit and had to go back and charge it back in refund to me. Could be much better and we missed out on pool and just felt it wasnt up to expectations.

The staff was wonderful there can’t say enough about them! The rooms were clean and the breakfast was your typical free breakfast fruit eggs, pancakes, cereal, etc. Carpet and flooring could use a little update and area has a homeless shelter a block or two away but no one bothered us for anything. Would stay again!

The hotel itself was beautiful, quiet, and conveniently located near restaurants and local nightlife on 6th Street . My family and I appreciated the excellent customer service throughout our visit. The room was very clean and fully stocked with the necessities. The breakfast was ok.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The AC appeared to be out in the lobby and they had a make-shift unit (so that was okay). The worst part is that on the same street as the hotel are a couple of bars that had live music that played late at night and it was hard to sleep with the noise level. Other than that, it was a good stay.

Hotel was clean and free breakfast was a plus. Staff was friendly & room was comfortable. Pool was nice. My only complaints are the area because there is a large homeless population around the hotel. Walking around outside was sketchy. We were approached a few times by homeless people asking for money, food, or trying to flirt.
The hotel lobby and bar do not have any a.c. They put portable AC’s to help with the heat but you can still feel the heat in some parts of the lobby where the ac doesn’t reach.
Good hotel for the price. However, I will likely stay somewhere else the next time I’m in Austin. I did not feel safe at times walking outside.

When I arrived, I was notified but the front desk clerk that Expedia overbooked and he had to find me a room. I paid for two beds for four nights and wanted to move us to a room with one king and a pull out. I refused because I specifically picked two beds. Also, they were going to move us in another room and we would had to check out of the room and check back in after 4pm. But the front desk clerk helped and got us the room with two beds.

The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was a full breakfast with many options. The AC was broken in the lobby so it was stuffy and humid. They did their best with large portable units but it was not comfortable. The rooms were cool and comfortable. Valet parking is the only option. Staff was nice. Overall, a very nice start

There were a few things that seemed off, so I gave it a 4 Star instead of 5. They had issues with Central AC, which they were trying to address as best as possible. There was an area that was very dirty in the hallway, that needed addressing, but otherwise clean! Great area for the price!!

Beautiful hotel with very clean, spacious rooms featuring a kitchen, couch, mini office, and a gorgeous view of downtown Austin. The area felt safe for the most part, although a few blocks away seemed a bit sketchy. Still, we walked everywhere since the hotel is close to many attractions. We used the valet parking, which was convenient but expensive at $45 per night, and didn’t need the car afterward. The complimentary breakfast was great, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Fabulous front desk staff. So helpful with the facility and city as well. Room and view were great. Breakfast area clean, well stocked, pleasant employees, food more than satisfactory for a free meal. Pool may be lacking, but truly nothing we planned to use anyway. Will definitely stay here again.

I arrived late and found the AC wasn’t working in common areas, they had emergency ACs set up, which wasn’t a big deal. I got in late and found lipstick marks on my sheets and figured it would be addressed after they cleaned the room the next day. Well I got back late found the sheets “Changed” but removed the top sheet to still find them dirty, I called the front desk and started to tell them and they basically said “well you didn’t report it when you got here” I said “yes it was late and figured when they cleaned the room it would be address, also tk not the tv isn’t working” the person proceeded to say what would you like me to do send someone to look at it? I said yes, he promptly hung up on me and no one ever showed up…. And their Valet service was just as awesome. I had parked in a spot about 50ft away and was walking in after I found out their only parking was valet service. I’m walking in with my hands full and said is it ok if you guys can grab it from right there (50ft away, if that). He said no you have to move it here, I said really? He said yes… I put my stuff back in the car, moved it 30ft and as I did so he disappeared (not getting a car) there was no one there, leaving me standing there waiting for another employee. Needless to say, ill never book here again and will not recommmend

The room was amazing, very clean, the pillows were PILLOWING! Too often hotels give you crappy pillows and that just irks my taters, but not the Hyatt House! Shiv at the front desk was also very friendly and helpful! Breakfast was delicious and honestly quite elevated from your usual hotel buffet - thanks for the great stay!

My experience with this hotel was decent. Unfortunately I cannot say that the entire staff was helpful and kind- there was one man at the front seat that was not dressed with a uniform and seemed to be bored with his job, he was perhaps the least helpful. Now, housekeeping, breakfast staff, and the woman at the front desk were all helpful and pleasant to interact with. I would not stay in this hotel if traveling with children because of the noise. We stayed in the 6th floor, on Friday night and Saturday night I was unable to sleep due to the loud music. I think the music was from a nearby club- this was very annoying. Luckily I was tired enough to finally fall asleep around 3am. Overall just be mindful that this place is loud- if you don’t mind that than you should be fine.
Oh, the pool was not very clean. The breakfast was decent, and the gym is small but well kept.

Just know that Valet Parking is the only option at the hotel. There is some public paid parking near by. We chose the Valet (staff was very helpful), because we were a little intimated to drive around a city we are unfamiliar with.

I liked this hotel for its location, friendly staff, and pretty good breakfast. My room, however, had sheets stained in what I hope is wine and our microwave and coffee machine did not work. I talked to the staff and they helped replaced the sheets!

What a wonderful place to stay! The location, facilities and rooms were great. The entire staff, from front desk to valets and bartenders, were extremely helpful and pleasant. The location right downtown near the State Capitol is perfect, with plenty of reasonable parking options, restaurants, and entertainment venues. We were in town for the Sting 3.0 concert at the Moody outdoor ampitheater. Just wonderful.
