A Lovely stay at the Omni in Austin! My first time as a guest at an Omni Hotel and I was very happy. The staff was friendly, accommodating and all else was top notch. I will be an Omni guest for anywhere I go that has an Omni hotel.

I hadn’t stayed at an Omni in years. This property was an extremely pleasant surprise. The room was beautiful and the bed extremely comfortable. I loved the decor and the amenities at this property. The only drawback was the high price for parking, but it seemed comparable to other nearby lots, so that must just be parking in this part of Austin. I’d gladly stay here again.

The valets, front staff and baggage folks were extremely nice, courteous and welcoming. The bartenders need a little work, please don't turn your back on the customer or roll your eyes at someone when all they asking is what you have in stock. No reason for the rudeness. This was one female bartender, maybe she had a bad not sure.
The rooms are nice, bed's are a little on the lumpy side, had a hard time sleeping. Hallways to rooms are cold, was really surprised on that. But it's in a good location.
They need to have a little shop for late night people who either want a snack or toothbrush, etc. The have a coffee shop that has these things but they close too early.

We arrived early and the Omni wants to charge $40 for early check in. The front desk informed us our room was ready but to check in early was a fee. We haven’t stayed at Omni before and we probably won’t again just because we have found other brands more accommodating. I was also disappointed in the roof top pool, I was expecting something more upscale especially since that is a featured amenity to entice travelers to stay here. Also be aware they charge $60 a night to park on top of an expected valet tip as well as a $25 destination fee per night you stay. I feel like they really nickel and dime their guests.

The Omni was great. The room was clean and everything looked bright and new. The property itself has a pretty bar/dining area downstairs, but we preferred to sit up by the pool for drinks as it was more relaxed and had music. It was an easy stay and also quiet. We stayed at another hotel in Austin the last time--same price range--and the room was super loud and the room not very nice.

This Omni Property was an excellent choice for my weekend stay in Austin, Texas. The staff and valet were exceptional and helpful. Everything was very neat and clean. The restaurants within the property did not disappoint. Also, the location of the property being 2 blocks away from 6th street and other local staples made Omni a perfect choice for my stay.

We were there for two nights and had two rooms and neither room was ever cleaned because the maid came at 8:30AM before we were ready to leave, and they never came back. Disappointing.

The restaurant closes too early, especially on big UT event nights, like graduation and parents weekend. I think 11 p.m. is more reasonable - 10 p.m. is not late enough.

I did not care for your coffee.

But everything else is great and I would return and highly recommend. Amazing staff!

The place was pretty great but we had a few unfortunate things happen during our stay. First, upon arrival, we found blood on the mat in our bathroom. Then on our last day there a pip burst and flooded our closet soaking all of our clothes and quickly flooding our bathroom. We had to change room 2 more times as the bathtub was backed up in the next room. We also were then now not on the club level which we paid for, nor near the rest of our party. This wasn't a huge deal as we still had club access, just an annoyance. The club and benefits were wonderful. The pool was great though the service was incredibly slow at the pool bar.

If you get a room facing 6th street area/ pub crawl area, be aware that you may not sleep until 2am due to loud music. If the hotel is sold out, you’re out of luck like in my case

Check in was easy! Vallet was efficient and friendly! Room was comfortable and clean. Fitness center has Peleton equipment and was spacious- free weights and machines were up to date and well kept. The location was perfect for easy access to great restaurants and 6th street. We will definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family!

Beware of booking the Omni Austin Hotel Downtown. I selected the option to pay at check-in, but my credit card was still charged when I was unable to arrive due to unexpected travel issues that were completely out of my control. I had only booked one night, and they charged me $369 with no refund offered.

What makes this even more disappointing is that I have stayed at this hotel regularly—almost every month when traveling to Austin for business. Loyal, repeat customers should be treated with more understanding and fairness.

Based on this experience, I would not recommend this establishment and will be taking my business elsewhere.

It's not well marked and a little hard to find. It's actually in a business office building. The staff was super nice, the room was clean and beds were comfy. We loved the location and ability to walk everywhere. Wish we had known more about the airport shuttle as we rented a car, paid $50 for parking and didn't use it.

From pre-arrival to check-in, everything was seamless. The team even reached out ahead of our stay to ask what we needed, which made us feel so welcomed and well taken care of from the start. Every single staff member we encountered was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful.
