A day in Andorra.

We had a nice stay in Novotel. It’s easy walking distance to the centre. Room was comfortable with a good shower. Buffet dinner and breakfast was nice.
Only negative was that the car parking is very expensive . We are travelling around the world and have never pid so much for parking.

The hotel os perfectly centred between the old and new part of town.

A nice pool and gym just next door shared with 3 other hotels that belong to the same hotel group. The room was great, enough apace for myself and 2 daughters. It is on the older side with beige tiling but well maintained. The bath in which you need to shower too, didn't drain well and the hairdryer had seen better days. The service and cleanliness however were superb.

Buffet style breakfast, lunch and dinner were okay. Much, much appreciated the help and option for celiacs with Gf bread organized each day! All other allergents clearly noted by each food. The coffee from the machine was not great but understandable as waiters were always busy cleaning up and running round.

All in all a great, lovely and well-run hotel with helpful and friendly staff

The location is very good; the \"Buffet Cafe\" is very nice and convenient for breakfast - though good and convenient for dinner, there are plenty of places nearby that offer good food at competitive prices. If WiFi connectivity is \"important\", this is not the hotel for you; in-room connectivity (we were on the 6th floor) is poor and lacks the power to do much, once connected. The staff is pleasant and helpful.

Overall very good experience as no issue is indicative of a well oiled machine. Good location, the hard materials; bed, room, restroom, amenities were all very good. Check in took a bit longer than expected but nothing too outrageous. Only thing is power somehow fried my Converter that’s been with me for a long time. No idea what caused it but might want to check voltage on your electronic set up to make sure same doesn’t happen to you. Check out was fine, except took longer than expected because was again waiting for lengthy check in to complete. Other than these very minor things, it was very pleasant.

I really enjoyed this hotel in the heart on Andorra. The rooms were nice and we had a great view of the river in the city center. The breakfast was extensive and a great start to the morning. I would stay here again.

Well, front desk is terrible not kidding so slow and unprofessional. You need pasports to check in kids so if you don't have it you in trouble. We waited for like 30 min with one person ahead of us. One person behind the counter and manager didn't care that we waiting. Room was clean but outdated. Pool and spa next door at another hotel. Novotel you can do better for €100 a night. Definitely not 4 star hotel. We traveled around the world you can do a lot better. Good location but but €20 parking is insane.

i have stayed here many times. at this time of the yaer there are many cheaper deals but the garage is easy to access and this was important as my daughter and friend were meeting with me. it is a good hotel, the menus are good and the bar reasonable

when we came there was only one person handling checking in, there was a long line but the other staff members did not help out.
Internet connection is very bad at the hotel and slow.
breakfast was big but quality not so much.
on the plus side the room was big, comfortable and with nice view.

Really bad treatment by hotel staff

When arrived at the hotel we were told that they had not received the booking from expedia. The receptionist told me in a way that made feel if I was asking to stay at the hotel for free!!!!, that it was my problem and that I should resolve this with expedia. and, if they had not received the confirmation by next morning they would charge me again.

I then called expedia to try resolving this issue. However, expedia's customer service put me on hold for about 15 minutes (at GBP2.00/minute) at which time I decided to hang up and wait until the next morning to take this with my credit card insurance. Fortunately, the next morning the hotel staff confirmed that they had received the booking confirmation. However, I WASTED ABOUT GBP30.00 TRYING TO RESOLVE EXPEDIA'S AND NOVOTEL'S INHABILITY TO DO THEIR JOBS PROPERLY!!!!

Good hotel in the heart of Andorra La Vella. Pool good, although quite cold and a bit on the small side. Welcome after a long drive though. Roof top golf was an added bonus with great views. Staff friendly and car park convenient.

I traveled to Andorra for the weekend from Barcelona. The hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. I was fortunate to have a room on the top floor which provided a spectacular view of the city and mountains. The room comes with complimentary coffee and tea. The tea was nice, and I had made all that was provided in the room (2 tea bags). I went to ask reception if I could have some more however, all that was mentioned was that there was a two tea bag per day limit. I would have gladly purchased more from them if it was offered (but it wasn't). So, I went to a nearby cafe. I would definitely stay here again.

enjoy staying in novotel when i can afford it.food good quality but is buffet.never have any complaints. use it when passing thru.going thru andorre to normandie is more fun than spain via bordeaux or girona cutting across to poitiers. nothing much for small children but comfy beds.

Location was the let-down

Perfectly functional brand hotel - you know what you will get, and regrettably this includes expensive parking which is a theme of the last two Novotels stayed at.

Miscalculated on this location - which is our fault and not the hotel's obviously. This area is not about mountain scenery but all about shopping. Andorra is sadly just a commercialised mountain pass with people who all seem to look a bit unhappy despite the sun and snow and paying minimal taxes (reminded me of Luxemburg). We would have been better to stay higher near the French border in a small ski village, or remain in Spain and cross over further West.

The hotel is conveniently located near to the main shopping street and near to restaurants. The buffet after 8:00PM was nice (not included). The hotel is not new but rooms are very well and are not small. Toilet is separated from bath which is nice. The only con was the speed of the internet which was a bit slow.

An excellent hotel in a central position of Andorra la Vella. Good value overnight stay as was the breakfast. It was a shame that the female on reception when we arrived was occupied for 10 minutes with another call and kept us standing waiting. Then she attended to us with no apology and a curt manner. Other staff were smiling and courteous.

Great hotel for the family

My family and I stayed at the hotel for three nights on our way down to Spain and four nights on the way back. The hotel was in a great location, the room was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food in the hotel was lovely. I would certainly stay at the hotel again and would be happy to recommend it.

My family and I had a great stay at the Hotel. My husband find it a bit hard to find the hotel as it is a one way system however location is very good right in the centre of Andorra beautiful view from the hotel window. Good location if you want to do shopping. Eating out is reasonably cheap. The only thing is I thought the pool and spa was inside the Novotel but it wasn't. It was in Mercury Hotel which was not far just across the Novotel. The car park across the hotel was reasonable as well. The staff was freindly and helpful.I will recommend this Hotel to couple who want to get away from the hassle and bassle or to family to have a relaxing time. Overall I rate the Hotel between 4-5.

Hotel nice, but OUCH the parking!

My room at the Novotel was lovely - an odd shaped room with bathroom with separate toilet. The room included a fridge with complimentary mineral water and the bed was firm and comfortable. The only negative was that parking in their carpark costs an incredible amount to pay! Unless you are visiting in a blizzard, find yourself a spot in one of the many nearby parking places, or park on the street (free on weekends).

Equipe gentil, café da manhã muito bom (vale a pena adquirir a opção de café da manhã). O spa (saunas e piscinas) do hotel funciona no hotel Mercure (ao lado) e é de acesso ao hóspedes do Novotel. O hotel em condições gerais é bom e muito bem localizado na cidade, mas os quartos são muito antigos.

Très bien, simple et efficace. Il y a un parking payant en sous terrain mais il y a aussi un parking derrière, sûrement moins cher.
Le petit-déjeuner est complet et varié.
Un seul souci, peut-être mettre des barres dans la baignoire car pour y accéder, il y a l’épaisseur de la baignoire ainsi qu’un muret, avec la hauteur, Ca a été dangereux pour moi car j’ai glissé. Ca m’a valu un sacré bleu à la cuisse.

El Novotel Andorra ofrece una experiencia muy positiva en general. Su ubicación en pleno centro de Andorra la Vella es inmejorable, ideal para quienes quieran aprovechar el entorno comercial, cultural y turístico de la ciudad . El hotel destaca por su limpieza, instalaciones cómodas y desayuno variado y de calidad . El personal también recibe buenas valoraciones por su amabilidad y profesionalidad .

Sin embargo, quise pedir una habitación silenciosa por mi sensibilidad al ruido, y me asignaron una en el primer piso con ventana justo hacia la calle más transitada, lo que me demostró que no se tuvo en cuenta esta petición personal. Este detalle resta algo de confort a una estancia que, de otro modo, fue muy buena.

Hotel de 4 estrellas que parecen 3. Es bastante justo, antiguo y habitaciones pequeñas y estrechas.
En nuestro caso habitación doble superior muy pequeña y estrecha. Suelos de moqueta por todos lados y bastante desgastado. Bufet desayuno muy justo y poca variedad. Lo mejor la ubicación.

Excelente ubicación,excelente trato, tanto en recepción como sobretodo la chica del buffet desayuno es bastante amable. El servicio de habitaciones en cuanto a limpieza es muy bueno te dejan todo lo necesario para aguantar unos días. Lo único lo de la piscina y chikipark que está enfrente pero bueno el resto compensa. Desde luego algún día si esque vuelvo intentaré volver a este hotel. Creo que no deberían dejar tantas toallas ni almohadas es un desperdicio para la hora de limpiar o lavar. Muchas gracias. Si el precio del buffet almuerzo tarde sería más asequible nos hubiéramos animado pero se nos iba de precio. \"Vistas desde el hotel\"

Terrible perfume in the reception, gives you an instant headache. Old but ok room. Clean! Swimming pool in the adjacent hotel, not the one we stayed in - a definite minus. On the plus side, breakfast was nice, especially the Spanish specialities.
