4.30 am for Saturday and Sunday morning staff or workers were sorting bedding and the like, crashing banging of metal for at least an hour, early sat morning a gang decided to stab a 16 yr old boy so police and sirens shouting up until the bedding vans arrived, found the staff to be rude NO thank you or how can we help , room worn everywhere and needed updating … hot water didn’t reach the 5 floor told staff and said just let in run it will get hot !! It didn’t !! Toilet wouldn’t flush and bath filled up when having a shower ! Oh and the youngsters of Luton all need a form right hand and to pull there bottoms up and take those hoods down !! Apart from that it was lovely 😂

It was very very loud in the room. I managed to close a window but I was expecting slightly more from it. Walking from train station it had a difficult access through the parking lot which dragging a suitcase was difficult. The actual room was ok - but it was a very uncomfortable sleep. Otherwise it is close to the train station which was an excellent location. Staff were nice.

The room booked was terrible and barely organised. The reception attitude was cold and neglecting and there was only 1 toilet rol. No kettle, no mugs for teas and coffee and no iron or any ironing board. The windows were locked halfway and the heating was significantly hit all night with no way to turn.it off.
I had to change the toom at spme point and disappointingly, I was charged extra 14 pounds on to.of sn already disappointing stay. I wnever recommend this hotel. Honesty, its not worth the money paid and a full refund is appropriate

I cannot believe how horrendous my experience was given the huge number of positive reviews on this hotel.

Travelling as a lone female so had a single room. First room had no hot water and no working phone to report this (only identified when I was already in the cold shower).

Moved to another room, advised because of the heating system the hot water tap and shower needs to be run for 25 mins to get hot water ! Clearly this is a known issue for the hotel and not a one off !

The general state of repair of the room was APPALLING. The walls were peeling in multiple places. If I’m able to attach photos I will.

If it had been earlier in the day I would have moved hotels but I didn’t feel safe going back outside hotel hunting at 7PM.

I’m all for budget and basic but honestly this hotel needs to be condemned.

Exactly that's what happened.First thing after opening the room door I went to wash my hands in the bathroom sink the water wouldn't drain reported nothing happened then second nigtmare at midnight the toilet was clogged reported. Stay was stressful and was very disappointing. O hope they won't give the room to someone else after we checked out before sorting it out I reminded before I clocked out.

1 Room was in decent condition, however waste basket in the room was not emptied daily. It was emptied on the last day of my stay, and by then I had more waste than can be fit in one small waste basket.

2 Toilet paper was also provided on the 1st day of my stay - 2 rolls. There was toilet paper given on any other day. In my opinion this is unsatisfactory. My stay was for 3 nights and I had to buy more toilet paper out of my pocket. There should be 1-2 rolls/day. Very frustrating and disappointing.

The room was fine. You get what you pay for. But be prepared if you are staying here the people on reception will recommend you to park in the public car park just below the hotel as it is half the price. When I left to go to the airport at 4 o’clock in the morning, I was harassed on two separate occasions by men. At that time being a woman alone obviously you feel very unsafe. This isn’t the fault of the hotel, but something to be aware of if you’re parking in the public car park, which is a three minute walk from the hotel.

Unfortunately I booked through the Hotels.com app and I paid more than the basic thistle express room thinking I was getting a bigger bed. Turns out I had the basic single room.
As usual. The staff are brilliant. The bed is comfortable. And the rooms are spotless. It won’t stop me staying again. In fact I’ve already booked for Christmas week.

This hotel is very tired and need lot of upgrades. Baths, taps, masticing and much more need replacing,
Attention to details on cleaning needs work on!
Immigration in and around the hotel makes people feel very unsafe.
The smell of weed inside and just outside was very mud apparent!

It is a very good to stay , good access to Conner to different parts of uk, the rooms are clean and the domestic are very helpful, the staff are all right very helpful. Breakfast is ok if you are the hungry type, I prefer the fruit salad and cereal. Parking is awful your driver is allow only

- Located at the Heart of Luton City Centre.
- The hotel is very close to Luton Point Shopping Centre. Just two mins walk outside the hotel.
- Cheap price with inclusive breakfast. Paid 63 pounds for 1 night for 3 people during off peak season.
- Clean. Lots of towels to use.
- With 24 hours free access to tea and coffee machine next to the reception.
- Room windows can be open for fresh air.

Cons:
- Just some parts of facilities need renovating.
- Even though you book for the hotel. You can’t have a free parking in their parking lot. It costs 15 pounds for 24 hours parking. Expensive than other nearby car parks.

It's Luton Town Centre....

The hotel is in Luton Town Centre. It's close to the train station and the bus interchange and next to the shopping mall.
The hotel is much nicer inside than it looks from the outside.
The area is quite grim, rough sleepers, drug users and almost no police presence. This is Luton and I know it well, I never felt threatened but I could understand some would. Luton Council have made many improvements recently.
The staff are very nice and doing a great job.
The room was actually pretty good. Breakfast was decent quality, the 24hr coffee machine in reception is a nice touch.
On the negative side only one lift was working, the staircase and some of the communal carpets need cleaning.
I am happy with the stay and if I had to return to Luton I would stay here again.
