Great staff. Clean, convenient location. But not worth the money. Small rooms, heat oppressive, window painted shut so no fresh air, no chair, tiny table, no kettle so only a vending machine for coffee or tea and only a soda or chips. The water pressure is horrible. The shower barely trickles. You are better off staying somewhere else for 5 pounds more that has everything and breakfast included. Should have been half the price for what you get.

At approximately 18:10, I accidentally spilled a full mug of coffee on the floor of my room. I immediately went to reception to request a bucket, mop, and appropriate cleaning product so that I could clean the area myself.

The receptionist informed me that he could not provide these items because the cleaning staff were no longer on duty and advised me to leave the coffee on the floor. I explained that this was not acceptable, as I could not reasonably be expected to remain in a room with a large amount of coffee spilled on the floor, particularly in a room without a window and therefore without proper ventilation.

I repeated my request, clearly stating that I was not asking for the staff to clean the room, but merely to provide me with the necessary cleaning supplies so that I could resolve the issue myself. I was initially told to wipe the floor with a towel and that another towel would be provided. After further insistence, I was eventually given a bucket and mop, but no cleaning liquid.

As a result, the situation remained unresolved. I informed the receptionist that without proper cleaning products, I would be unable to remain in the room due to the smell and the unsanitary conditions. Consequently, I had no alternative but to pack my belongings and book accommodation at another hotel for that night, thereby incurring additional costs.

Furthermore, I must mention that the extremely strong green light in the room significantly disturbed my ability to rest, and the bath

Two things: 1. It would have been helpful to have walking instructions from the bus station to the hotel as I went for a bit of a detour late at night with my Sat nav.
2. My room had a window which was great but the street lights were very strong and the window was not fully blacked out around the edges of the blind. That could easily be improved at minimal cost but would make a massive difference.
Otherwise a good price for a basic but entirely adequate overnight stay between flights. Would recommend and would stay again.

I felt very safe, everything was clean, the staff is very nice and helpful, there's privacy in the dorm rooms cause the beds have walls, there's a shelf in every bed and a very big locker under the bed. Lots of space, a table with mirrors in the room. Good water pressure in the showers. Clean water. Highly recommend

Staff were smoking outside of the hotel and totally ignored us on arrival it wasn’t until we rang the phone he decided he would come in. Room was like a broom cupboard however we new the size we chose one with a window and they had stuck a light right outside of our window fixed to the building and even with the blinds closed it was bright so we couldn’t sleep. The noise was extremely bad people banging doors etc. we were told reception was manned 24/7 this was not the case when I went down to speak to them and also on checkout no one at reception. Would never go back.

The room is totally sealed, there is no way of getting fresh air & the room stank. The toilet blocked each time I used it. The room has a flood light pointing at the window, which only had a paper thin roller-blind & an exit light which was so bright I had to buy a sleep mask. This place should be removed from your listings, its terrible.

More great service from Moyn on the reception. My room didn’t have USB ports so I couldn’t charge my phone and he moved me to a room which did. Occasionally the aircon blew cold during the night but I only noticed as I got up to use the bathroom. Great phone reception. Tv worked well and I really like the bathrooms here. It was my last of many stays but if I return I wouldn’t hesitate to book this hotel again. The staff are always friendly and any problems are sorted quickly. That’s what places this apart from other budget hotels. The excellent service.

Moyn on reception gave his usual great service. Swift check in and the room was lovely and warm. I love the wet room style bathroom and the toiletries included are very nice. Great base to explore with the station nearby making day trips to london quick and easy. There’s loads of entertainment near to the hotel and shopping even a cinema.

Room was not clean. The room stank of cigarettes. The staff were rude. he put a piece of paper in front of me and said ‘sign’ when I asked him what I was signing he just kept repeating ‘sign’. There was NO air-con and it was pure hell and the hottest room ever. DESPITE booking a room with a window, i wish i didn’t bother, because the window was welded closed. It was awful. It states quiet hours are 11pm-7am but forget to mention that the pub across the road is open until 2am playing all kinds of awful bass music. There was a family in the room next to us with a literal SCREAMING baby as if it was in pain from 1am-3am. They were on the phone outside our door and shouting at each other. I was not able to sleep and don’t even get me started on the shower!!! It dribbled. No pressure whatsoever. We actually couldn’t get showers because there was no water pressure. Only plus of this stay was the fact I could use an iron but honestly I would’ve rather slept in my car. I will be contacting for a refund.

Always a good choice.

Another easy check in with Moyn remembering a previous review I’d left. Still love the rooms, comfortable and the Dove toiletries making it just that bit more convenient. Great location. I went to the cinema one evening about a 3 min walk. And plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Hi Expedia, First, I'm not sure how you added this property to your prestige e-commerce.

The amount I paid for one night's stay is not worth it.

The receptionists displayed terrible behaviour; they had pets and smelled all around the bar, dining, and reception area. We went to break fast at 9:05 a.m., and they said it was closed. Not even a single customer was there, but there was no courtesy to ask for coffee or any flexible, continuous breakfast. Imagine, this 2 km/3 km surrounding hotel has no local shop or convenience store to buy. I leave the place without any food or coffee (cover breakfast).

Also, she showed her face, which we could not tolerate, and complained to us, \"You guys bring outside food without asking permission from us.\" Firstly, the dining place smelled of pets, and how was she expected to eat? Secondly, there was no food or restaurant after 9pm/9:30pm. Last night, I saw many others bring pizza and other foods to their rooms and open the balcony, too, but still, she raised questions to us.

The hotel management should have declared or told us that no outside food was allowed while checking in or booking a reservation with the Expedia portal, but they surprised us by not providing food choices and by not having a food corner within 2 km of this property.

There was no proper shower water supply (I complained multiple times). As I said, I don't know how Expedia added this property to your e-commerce.

Another great stay.

The true test of a hotel is how they deal with a problem. I had a problem in my room and it was resolved quickly. I have stayed here several times while working in Luton and I like the double bed, decent sized TV, the wet room style bathrooms and the Dove toiletries. Staff are always welcoming. It’s really well placed for restaurants and entertainment. The area is quieter than you think.

Remember your sleep mask

Quite a lot of light from the hotels outside lights getting into the room as the blind doesn’t fit the window. However a sleep mask sorts that out. The bed is comfortable and lovely pillows. Spotlessly clean. Good Tv with good reception same with mobile reception.
Loved the bathroom and Dove toiletries are a great touch.
Found the area quiet after around 10 and plenty of restaurants and cinema all within a few mins walk. For the price. I’ve not stayed in a better hotel. Happy to keep using it.

Great hotel for the price.

Decent size room and the Dove wash in the bathroom was a nice touch. I had one of the rooms overlooking the street. Would recommend an eye mask for total blackout. Bed was comfortable good mobile signal decent TV. Will stay again without a second thought.

Room (and hotel in general) had a terrible smell, rooms and bathrooms had not had a deep clean in some time as you can tell by the scum build up around the bathroom sink.

Bed was uncomfortable, walls paper thin.

No bed lights so either bright and fluorescent or darkness.

This was just about fine for a quick sleep after a flight but really poor value for the amount it cost.

Stayed in room 121. Extremly small, not enough space for 2x suitcases. The bathroom is about the size of an airplane toilet.
There was a streetlight right outside our room, and the blinds didnt block much of it. The room was never dark and there was nothing we could do.
We had a terrible nights sleep as there were people shouting a singing for hours outside the hotel, and the window has no soundproofing, which is odd as you cant open it. We had to ring reception at 1am to ask them to ask the people outside to move on, but they were still outside shouting for hours.
Really not the start to our holiday we wanted!

Cheap shouldn't mean awful.

My own fault for not researching more. Didn't realise it's the old Easyhotel. Desk staff were rude, room wasn't clean and still smelled of the B.O. of the previous occupant.
We were in Luton as I was playing a gig at a local pub; I stayed sober and we drove home rather than stay in this claustrophobic, airless pit. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Wheelchair accessible room is as far from entry as possible, through 3 push/pull doors. Including emergency exit plan
Wheelchair access at entrance involves doorbell (that didn’t work) to get staff to bring out plastic ramp. Staff had no training of how to use ramp which made entrance difficult

Like the price but now found cheaper hotel thats got more perks and hopefully is clean as there was man juice in the shower so didnt use it and smells like the drains are blocked so smells of human soils
Also cant open windows and room temp cant change. Then the banging of doors kept me up and was next to cleaners room so got woken early aswell with her smashing doors. First night there was fire alrms going off instead of turning off the alarms the host argued with the room that was smoking while the alarms went off for about 5 mins in the entire place

Not to do with hotel but was also involed in a stabbing outside on night 1

However, the air-conditioning they controlled so I was pretty hot the whole time I was there which was there seven nights and i had to ask them a couple times turned the air down so I could cool down so I think they set it what they think instead of what the client thinks so that was my only complaint about that hotel with the air conditioning.

Generally speaking \"you get what you pay for\" applies extremely well to this particular lodging. The cleanliness is acceptable however the building is old and poorly ventilated so the rooms are quite damp and stuffy. If you require internet for your stay that is reliable, look elsewhere.

Worst hotel I've ever been to.
We booked a room at the Citi Hotel Luton as we had an early flight and I wrongly assumed that we'd give it a try for the price.
Well, dont do the same mistake and pay a bit more for a decent hotel and a real night sleep.
This hotel is not even half decent for the price. Sickening smell in all corridors, elevator not working, window not opening in the room, dodgy customers, and the area is honestly disgusting.
We requested a quiet room knowing we had to wake up at 3:30am and were given a room overlooking the street right above the hotel entrance. As we're not local i had no clue there would be people talking loudly, shouting, throwing bottles on the ground and skateboarding until at least 1am.
We could also hear the other customers walking in the corridors, and spraking in their room as if they were in ours as the walls clearly are not proper walls.
The bathroom was smelly and smaller than a cubicle, one could easily sit on the toilets and shower at the same time.
No bath mat, no shelf and nowhere to put your belongings if notbfir 4 hooks and a tiny 30cm x 30cm table.
Never again, this is like a youth hostel.

The Receptionist Was on A VERY Important Call...!

The room and location were fantastic for the value and the night shift receptionist was wonderful. It was checking in that was the real issue. The gentleman working was incredibly rude. He was on his phone on a personal call and did not want to be bothered. I asked about the airport not knowing the size and city and how early I needed to book a taxi for an international flight. He kept saying one hour is fine. I would have missed my flight. I then asked about booking a taxi for it ahead because I came in late and wanted it taken care of so I could sleep until I needed to come down to get my flight and all he could say is just come down before you need to leave and my colleague will call them for you. I told him I would like to book ahead and he said you can't and would pick his cell phone back up and return to his call. He was way more interested in his call than the customer. I kept asking him to help me and he insisted booking ahead of time was not possible. No where in the world is this the case especially not Luton, UK! When I would push him he would just insist it that his colleague coming in later could help me. I wanted to be asleep getting rest later which is WHY I BOOKED A HOTEL ROOM!!!!!!! It ruined my night and I was exhausted traveling so when I got to my next destination and city I had to take a nap instead of enjoy the city. I am furious I chose this place because of this reason.
