Nice apartment

The apartment itself was nice but there was an unpleasant surprise that we found out the day that we arrived. The photos from the listing shows another apartments and no one told us that ours will be on a different location, quite far from the others and a lot more basic and simple than the advertised. Actually, we expected what we saw in listing, but got something different.
Also, our booking was for apartment with sauna, there wasn't.
Overall, the apartment was great, comfortable and warm, but these surprises wasn't nice.

the location between key collection point and the apartment is not close (esp when snow is thick)
wifi is weak and sometimes disconnect
netflix is not working (as the TV cannot detect the wifi of the apartment)
the sauna is also not working
I try to email the apartment regarding the sauna but no one reply me.

A no frills apartment - functional but i'd say basic in respect of beds, bedding, towels etc. no toiletries - kitchen stuff ok. however great location just along the street from all the bars and restaurants - a k mart shop underneath is useful. the bus stop to the airport or santa village is also very close which is handy as taxis are expensive. apartment was really warm so that was definite plus in the -5 weather. we didn't think it was clear where the actual apartment was - collected key from box but apartments if further down the road and the numbers are round the back. however someone was in the office so that helped us.

Comfortable apartment for a family. Conveniently located. The only problem was that for the person sleeping in the living room there's a lot of light during the summer season (no black out curtains) . Everything else was perfect!

great apartment. ask for the one with the sauna. comfy, simple, roomy and nice.
to get in you have to pass through their office at a different street so make sure you do it with a driver who will wait for you as you take the keys and continue there.
all in all - it's a great stay

The apartment is really good located, clean and all the equipments are new. I really appreciate the arrangement. However, I found a shortage of basic home amenities. For instance, I could not even find toilet papers and hangers. Also, there is no trash bag; the apartment has washing machine but there is no laundry balls. Therefore it causes me inconvenience.

The property is still under construction and not ready to stay! Many construction works are still working in the site and construction materials put near the building. Heavy painting smell. It is hard to stay for even 5 mins in the house.
Also, room type provided was wrong. Reception is far away from the building. We asked for refund and cancel, then we have to walk for 15 mins with luggage back to the reception!! It was crazy with the weather of -12 degree! We were super disappointed with the apartment that they provided. We don’t even know why Expedia can work with this agency! I am disappointed with Expedia as well. I am doubt whether I will choose Expedia again!

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay here, the apartment was clean, cosy, comfortable and very convenient to Rovaniemi City Center. The apartment had all we required in a very quiet location. I would definitely recommend the apartment and would stay again if we ever return to the area.

Comfortable stay, worth the money; great location

The communication with the hotel staff from booking until check out was only through emails. Though the instructions were very clear and the apartment provided was very comfortable and worth the price. The location was also great. The facilities in the apartment were appreciable and we had a chance to cook our own food as well. Overall the experience was great and the hotel staff were good in communication and directions.

We stayed here for four nights toward the end of the Rovaniemi tourist season in early spring. The apartment was clean and not too difficult to locate. Picking up our keys from the office was very easy. We loved having a sauna room right in the bathroom and the kitchenette was handy. Or main complaint was the WiFi—there was a password and information on the wall of the apartment to log in, but the WiFi ID name did not pop up on any of our devices and therefore was not available for use. We did not contact the office about it because we had our own data plan but it was still an inconvenience. Otherwise this apartment made our time in Finland simple and comfortable. It was perfectly located in the center of the city with a grocery store right downstairs.

Good but unexpected stay

Facility is good and clean. However, upon arrival, the location as stated in hotels.com is just the office of the apartment. You need to get the key and sign the contract before going to the aparment about 10 mins walk. It may be hard for you if you are carrying a large luggage and have a walk in the snowing condition. The office had not provided the transport information between the office and JR and you should find the location by yourself. In case transport of luggage is needed (between the office &apartment), extra cost should be paid which is unexpected.

Fantastic location & ideal for self catering.

The apartment we were allocated was in an excellent location. Just a few minutes walk from the centre of Rovaniemi and seconds from the bus stop that goes to Santa Village, Airport and Ranua (Arctic Zoo).
The room itself was fairly basic and has potential to be much more comfortable, for example the mattresses on the beds don't stay still, so if you move or try to sit up against the wall you slide about!
We unexpectedly discovered a sauna within our bathroom, which was a pleasant surprise!
The kitchen facilities were ideal for self catering. We didn't personally encounter any staff so we can't comment on their service.

Lovely apartment with comfort environment

Clean and tidy apartment. The location is good as just 5 minutes to bus station or town centre by walk. Several markets are nearby, even the one is sereved 24-hour. All equipments are well prepared for travelers including towels, clothes hangers and kitchen implements.

Like: Location is near to the city centre. walking distance to shopping malls. Near to the bus stop that goes to Santa Village. The kitchen is well-equipped.

Dislike: Was slightly misleaded that we will be staying at the apartment listed on the expedia website. It was only after we made the non-refundable booking that we realise that we will be staying at one of the many apartments that they manage. I had to send them a message to ask where is the address so as to make necessary arrangements with my local tour guide but we wont be able to know until we get there.

The property takes a 10-minute walk from the nearest bus stop which is the next one to the city centre. It feels shorter when you have get used to the place. But it is a little hard to find it from the check-in office especially if you check-in late and have to find the place yourself at nite. A key is used to open the apartment door. We were unlucky that the door was not closed properly in a way that the lock was not completely in place. So we thought the key was not working and have been panic for some minutes until I tried to push the door and found that it was not locked in completely. We spent a lot of time moving up and down, checking whether we were in the right place before we came up with that. And that was so tiring.

Well located clean but poor bath/kitchen amenities

The apartment is very modern and very well located. Everything is within a 5-10 min walk from the house. The best highlight of the house was having our own private Sauna.The kitchen is well equipped and there is lots of storage space which perfect for a lengthy stay or a stay with family. Among the bad parts - the first is the crazy check-in process. The location of the apartment which we saw initially on maps was actually their office where you just go to collect the keys. After keys, we had to walk a good 700-800 meters to reach the apartment with our luggage. Some of the key equipment in the house were missing like hair dryer. They had provided for only 1 single toilet roll. We were asked to set-up dishwasher but there were no dishwasher tablets to set it up. So although the apartment by itself is nice clean and located conveniently, the amenities inside the apartment put us off.

Cosy apartment close to town

The apartment is located very close to all town amenities with a very handy supermarket located within the building. A sauna and washing machine are provided which added to the comfort and convenience of our stay. Wish we were able to stay longer as it felt like home. A shout out to Noora who allowed us to leave our suitcases in the office on a very rainy day when we arrived before check in time. Would recommend this place for anyone staying in Rovenmiemi.

Great family accommodation in a great location.

We had two apartments next door to each other. One had a sauna. Both were exceptionally clean and full of everything needed. We were one bed short and on request were delivered one along with chocolates and a sled for the kids to use. All in all I will highly recommend and would stay there again!

Las instalaciones estaban bien y limpias, pero la comunicación con el gestor del apartamento muy mal. Nunca contestaba los emails con mis dudas y nadie cogia el telefono. Solo operan con las respuestas automatizadas y no hay un seguimiento. Luego, donde recoges las llaves no es la dirección del piso. En nuestro caso estava bastante lejos considerando el mal tiempo.

Bra beliggenhet i rolig strøk, fin leilighet med nødvendige fasiliteter. Har bodd flere ganger i leilighetene til Kotimailmaa.

Etter 2 år med korona er det jo litt synd med dårlig renhold på badet, det trekker ned - støv, hår og rusk på gulvet der.
Flekkete putetrekk på en av sengene, fant ikke ekstra trekk å bytte med.

WiFi virket ikke, feil navn og passord på router.

Ingen info om parkering.

Mi è piaciuta molto la zona ma mi dispiace che sul sito fosse mostrata una zona diversa e avevamo organizzato diverse attività in base alla zona mostrata. L'appartamento è davvero ben fatto, comodo con tutti i confort, una sauna meravigliosa ma con poche istruzioni abbiamo dovuto cercare un video su internet, zona ben servita dai supermercati, e dai mezzi. State attenti alla zona in cui effettivamente vi viene offerta la casa.

Omaa rauhaa kaipaavalle mitä mukavin kohde. Alakerrassa K-kauppa ja asunnossa ihan riittävät ruuanlaittovälineet, myös pakastin. Kiitos ilmastoinnin, hellesää ei häirinnyt.
Sohva kaipaa päivitystä. Ainakaan nyt Wi-Fi ei toiminut.

Loistava kaupunkilomapaikka

Asunto oli helposti saatavilla ja paikka 350 metriä keskustasta. Ravintolat ja kauppakeskukset kävelymatkan päässä. Asunnossa oli kaikki palvelut mitä perheemme 3 yön matkaan tarvitsimme. Kauppakin oli alakerrassa joka palveli 8-23 joka päivä.

Olimme varanneet yöpymisen kolmelle. Sisäänkirjautuminen oli sovittu myöhään illalla , mutta se ei ollut ongelma koska avaimet olivat avainrasiassa saatavilla. Sä gyt oli kuitenkin vain kahdelle. Lisävuoteen oleva sohva oli unohdettu laittaa eikä lakanoita sen itse valmistamiseen ollut saatavilla.
