I LOVED this place! I stayed here one night because I could not get a room The Arctic Lights Hotel down the street, where I then moved for the rest of my stay in (highly forgettable) Rovaniemi. I so wish I had stayed here the entire time. It seems to be the one establishment in Rovaniemi that doesn't try to fleece you at every turn. Super comfortable, modern, immaculate and friendly. The kitchen was a godsend. The staff kindly rushed to allow an early check in. The well-appointed kitchen was stuffed with quality foods, included in the room rate. The bed was far more comfortable than the bed at Arctic Lights (a perfectly fine but overrated conventional hotel). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Checkin code was provided via text a day before. There was provision of securely storing our luggage, as we arrived early. The room was spotless and hi-tech. What stood out was the refrigerator stocked with a wide variety of food ranging from fruits, milk, eggs, bread, salami, butter, cheese - the list is endless. And the quantity - plentiful! The cleaning staff were very professional and friendly and ensured that the refrigerator was replenished every morning. The welcome chocolate bars on the bed were a nice touch too. The pillows could have been a tad more comfortable (it was way too soft), but apart from that, we were super impressed with everything including the location. The gorgeous Kemijoki river is a minute or two away, and so are all top restaurants and cafes. The cherry on top was a late checkout request that was happily approved. Thanks to the team. If we ever revisit Rovaniemi, this will be our first choice for staying in the city.

The hotel is spotless and kitted out with all the amenities you might need. The beds are so comfy and the kitchen was well stocked. I loved the design of the rooms I stayed in and thought it was visually soothing. Although they could not accommodate early check ins or late check outs, the luggage storage and laundry facilities were really useful. The hotel is very easy to contact over WhatsApp.

We booked the Jaa - the Ice room. Everything was good - room was clean, kitchenware and toiletries were of good quality (Marimekko, Rituals) and housekeeping staff were friendly. Location also good - bus stop to the SCV was just 2mins’ walk and lots of food options nearby. This is important if you want to minimise walking in the cold. Our room was facing a construction site but we didn’t hear much noise so no issue. Breakfast spread was fine, although we don’t eat reindeer salami.

I can't rate Haawe more highly, we loved our stay here! I booked this for my girlfriend's 30th birthday, and upon mentioning this to Yolanda on WhatsApp, she was quick to offer an extra something to make it super special. The breakfast options were neatly organised in the fridge (there's plenty too), and included everything from smoked salmon, to eggs, to fruits, avocados, bread, cereal, and lots more. This was also topped up by the cleaners each day, which was brilliant. The accommodation was so well located that we never needed to walk more than 2-3 minutes to any of the tour operators... amazing! Thanks again to Yolanda and the team for an extra special stay.

The property was a wonderful experience. If I could have stayed longer in Rovaniemi I would stay here again in a heart beat. The choice is easy. Comfortable beds, best shower I've used in any hotel I've stayed. The ability to use lockers at the property 12 hours before and after stay was welcomed as we could explore the area without concern about the safety of our luggage. Very quiet, the food supplies for breakfast. Everything was amazing. A hotel experience done right.

Wow, what a place to stay!

This is one of the best places we've ever stayed in, and is certainly the best value for money. Modern, centrally-located and very well-appointed, everything about this place shone out as positive. We stayed in the Giassa Room (each is individually named).

Free laundry facilities, along with the best self-serve breakfast we've ever seen topped things off well.

Would go out of our way to stay there again if visiting the region.

The room we had was well-appointed and I would have given a higher review except for a bad experience on our final day.

I had taken a shower and noticed that water was pooling in the basin. I rinsed myself off and then was shocked to see the entire bedroom flooded (the shower was maybe 1-2cm lower than bedroom floor.

I called management right away but it took 25 minutes for anyone to show up. This, after I advise that the room was flooded. I gathered all the towels I could to absorb / direct water back to shower.

I spent the rest of the morning trying to pack bags in a wet room.

In the end, no apologies (and certainly no compensation) for what is supposed to be a boutique hotel.

This hotel itself was great. Pretty rooms and a good central location. The service was terrible though. There is no front desk on the property, just a little call box outside the front door (which is hard to hear). When I got there, I used the call box to tell them I had arrived. The man who answered said I should have gotten a code from hotels.com, but I did not (I later found out hotels.com's system had malfunctioned). Instead of offering to help, he just told me to call hotels.com. After standing on the sidewalk arguing with the call box for a good five minutes, he finally told me the code to get inside the hotel. If I had to do it over again, I would not stay here.

Lovely hotel ,stayed here twice, both rooms were clean and very well equipped . Breakfast provided had good variety and more than enough food for 2 people. Bathroom was great, had lovely rain shower and nice 'Rituals' toiletries.
Although no physical reception, staff were available and very helpful via intercom on first floor.
Really enjoyed our stays. Thanks to all at Haawe Hotel.

This apart hotel is, without a doubt, one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The rooms are beautiful and decorated with classic Scandinavian design, including Hay and Stelton.

The room is super clean and very quiet. The bed is very comfortable and the fire (we stayed in the Kota room) gives a lovely luxurious feel!

The hotel is self check-in and is very efficient. When contacting the hotel, customer service is extremely high and the staff are really helpful.

Amazing hotel. Room was lovely, food left was vast and unbelievable quality. Starbucks pods and the chocolate, amazing. Shower was best ever had.Yolanda on email is amazing to talk to. Within 30secs from town centre, withing 10secs from cracking burger and pizza restaurants for great take away. Within minutes from play park for kids, couple of hundred yards for the bus stop to Santapark/Santa Village/Airport.
Taxi from Airport to hotel is about 25 to 27 euros. Takes about 7 minutes. Bus to Santa is €20 for two adults and two kids return, though think going up in price by a euro or so in Dec22. Amazing, will stay again next year.

Very impressed by every detail of this hotel and room. It is modern, stylish, clean, quiet and superbly located. It has every amenity I needed for my stay. A lot of food, bottled water and juice were provided for a DIY breakfast which I could cook in the kitchen. Everything in the room was of high quality. Bed was comfortable and has lots of lighting options for the room. Self check in and out were super easy. The only thing I'd suggest is an option for a firmer pillow for neck support.

It was wonderful. An amazing room with the most amazing bathtub where we could bathe together with my husband which was a major bonus! ;)
It was so cool having all kinds of breakfast ingredients, only thing we were missing were tomatoes and cucumbers. But nice that we can sleep in and still have breakfast.
The only issue we had with comfort was the bed. It's was a lovely bed but the cushions were too soft, so they didn't hold our heads well, and the blankets were very hot, we wished there could have been some kind of option for a less thick blanket.
Over all absolutely the best hotel ever! :D

An excellent unique apartment of top quality. Very nice private sauna and tub. Perfect location in the heart of the town. Surprisingly no air conditioning, which made the warm nights somewhat sweaty. This is a rare problem in this neighborhood. Definitely a come-again place!

This hotel is absolutely amazing. The posh design, and the choice of all kitchen application, Mile, Bosch, axor in the bath room , the bedding’s quality is breathable, much better than many 5 star hotel. The owner’s choice shows the quality and the taste. Really comfortable stay, room are clean, cozy and warm. The location is very convenient with walking distance to the museums. The hotel seemed to play music in the corridors 24/7 that was occasionally slightly too loud and a bit annoying, but the staff were happy to turn it off when I asked about it, which I thought was very good customer service. The location was great, very close to any point in town and easy to be picked up by tours. The ambience was super chill and relaxing everywhere in the hotel; in fact this one is my fav throughout my journey of traveling in several Nordic countries. Hotel muito bom! Excelente custo benefício! Muito bem localizado no centro de Rovaniemi , tudo o que tem na geladeira te permite um ótimo breakfast , e ainda tem uns presentes de recepção de ótimo gosto . Super recomendo e se voltar a Rovaniemi será minha escolha

Todo nos encantó, el departamento de muy buen tamaño y bonito, cabe destacar que en estos departamentos, cada uno tiene una temática diferente, nosotros nos hospedamos en el “Kajo”, te dejan comida para que puedas prepararte desayunos. El hotel está cerca de todos los puntos interesantes para conocer Rovaniemi y tienen estacionamiento gratis por si llevan carro. Le pongo un 100

Chambre tres belle et hotel parfaitement situé...tres confortable et petits déjeuners prevus de grande qualité... Seule la douche etait une catastrophe car dès que l on reste plus de deux minutes ca deborde...mais hormis ce point tres bel établissement
