Im very fond of the citadines,however my last stay i had an appartement on the third floor and i was very dissapointed,could'nt get a decent sleep because of mosquitoes they were in all the two rooms in the appartement and because the water wasnt running i couldnt get a bath untill the evening.

DIRTY ! NEEDS To Be Cleaned - COULD Be GREAT
Has the potential to be a GREAT hotel - in the most perfect location - sadly the problem is CLEANESS or lack of ! We have been clients now for more then 10 years staying 8x a year - sadly the hotel does VERY LITTLE to maintain the rooms - this past stay was TERRIBLE ... The staff is wonderful - kind - a they try their best and they know the problem - obviously I am not the only client who brings this to their attention - THE ROOMS NEED TO BE CLEANED ...

Room was not clean and very run down, it was very noisy both outside and inside the building but was advertised as soundproofed, water pressure was non existent when hot water used in shower, marketing photos for room category were very deceptive, staff were unfriendly and rude. The pictures on the website were very deceiving. Our room was very small, the tv was very old, but that's ok because we didn't want to watch it anyway. Even though the furniture was out dated it was ok for us because it gave us a feel of the 70s when we were young. What was hard for me was that there was only one glass in the kitchen and that there was no small spoons for coffee or dessert, there were only huge serving spoons. The laundry was very inconvenient to use. All we wanted to do was wash clothes, but we had to download an app, give the app a lot of our personal information, credit card, etc. That is something that could be like the 70s, just use coins and wash our clothes. The reception people were very nice. There was no restaurant but the place is well located.

We stayed for 12 days and were very happy with our apartment/room---very convenient with a small covered market over the road, and many shops nearby. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is also a small laundromat in the basement, which is useful. Unfortunately right now the tram line in from of the hotel is not operating, but ti should be back in a few months we're told.

Citadines is our traditional place to stay in Montpellier due to its great location and free parking. Rooms can accommodate a family of different number of members. It is also useful to have own kitchen and shared laundry if you stay more than a couple of nights. Tram stop is nearby and the tram is the best transport solution for Montpellier.

I have experienced several appart'hotels in Montpellier but this one is exceptional compared to others. Good value for money. They are \"generous\" because they offer several things for free like coffee and tea, and everything you need in the room is offered (trash bags, dishwasher tabs, Toiletries, etc.)

I think it was an ok stay overall. The place was clean but I believe it can be updated. Feels a bit old. There was an issue with the toilet and safe but the hotel clerks made alternative arrangements to take care of the inconvenience.

The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The tram station was just outside the hotel, and made commuting to and from the city centre a lot easier. The apart hotel was cleaned only once in every six days, and this could have been done every alternate day instead. Otherwise it was good value for money.

The location of the hotel is great. There is a market right across the street, a supermarket and huge shopping mall a 5 minute walk away and lots of restaurants within walking distance. There is a Metro stop right outside the front door. The staff were amazing. They were always willing to help us with whatever we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Decent sized room. Nice to have the kitchen and table and balcony space. Balcony was a nice addition but the street the building was on was quite loud. Two single beds was nice because you don’t feel your partner moving around as much. AC worked great. Didn’t have dish soap or paper towels to do the dishes nor did we have bowls or pots but had a pan, cutlery and plates. Bathroom was very dark cause of paint job and very tight due to the large shower. Shower was situated so that water got on the floor every time so a towel always had to be on the floor and towels were not replaced unless we paid $10 to have our whole room cleaned. Floors were unswept when we arrived. Area near the building was a bit run down. Grocery store and laundry was very close.

Hotel is very close to the conference venue (\"Le Corum\" in Montpellier) - and easy for the rail station (on the tram line) - also right opposite the Jacques le Coeur covered market with a number of independent traders selling fruit, veg, nuts, delicatessen, meat ... there is no restaurant or bar at the hotel (minimal breakfast is served daily).

Very tight entrance to car park but plenty of space inside. Easy, friendly check-in. Huge appartment with two bedrooms, living area and kitchen/diner with a balcony. The best equipped kitchen we have ever had in an apart-hotel. Slightly disappointed by the quality of the mattress. Excellent location within easy walking distance of Montpellier centre and a tram stop right outside the hotel entrance. Buy tickets on the platform (pay by card or exact money only). Free tea/coffee available in the lounge. Breakfast available for 10e/person but we preferred to get our own: shops within a few minutes of the hotel. Friendly staff at check-out. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice and practical, but not the best
It is a nice and practical hotel, in a great location (10 min from centre on foot, 5 min from major shopping centre and easily accessible by car). The room was spacious enough, though a bit bare in decoration and lacking a bit of warmth. It was also, surprisingly, noisy, with slamming doors at midnight and a lot of noise from shuffling furniture on other floors (maybe an idea to put sliders under furniture so that room cleaning doesn't wake up guests one floor down...). Service was generally friendly but it all felt a bit disorganised, for example with key cards that never seemed to work. Overall, it felt like an OK hotel that could be great with a few small upgrades and different, more attentive, management

Uncomfortable bed and dripping air conditioner
Four adults rented a 1 bedroom apartment with 2 single beds and a sofa bed. The single beds were uncomfortable. The air conditioner malfunctioned and dripped water all over the kitchenette floor. When we requested service, the front desk arranged for a technician to come at 9 am. But he arrived at 8 am while some us were still sleeping.

We found our 2 bedroom apartment spacious, well equipped and clean. The staff were really helpful. There was plenty of bedding and towels and the sofa bed was comfy. The only negative comment I have (and this is outside the control of the hotel I know) is that there was a lot of noise most nights in the public space at the rear of the apartments where local youths were playing music, shouting and riding motos until after midnight.

We chose this appart’hotel for its location, parking and flexibility. We wanted the option to self-cater and it has a decent, fully equipped kitchen. The bed was also very comfortable and there was a small garden with the property - a nice place to drink coffee (offered free to all residents). It worked well for our needs.

We have stayed in Citadines Antigone many times before and return there as it's a great place to stay in Montpellier. Good transport links but easy walking distance to the centre. Opposite is a great local market for fish, fruit and bread.

Tv channels are mainly French. You have Bloomberg and cnbc mainly business channels. Lots of channels not working i enquirerd with the receptionist and she said it was normal. We had business studio that had been refurbished but corridors etc need updating.kitchnette was useful .sofa uncomfortable with metal supports directly under the cushions. Average value . Not all rooms are upgraded other rooms v tired and unattractive. Staff friendly and warm.nice breakfast area. Free coffee. Building is very dirty in appearance.soup kitchen for homeless nearby and in the evening sit at the rear of property on public benches . But not threatening.

We stayed in the deluxe apartment for a family of 4 for 3 nights.It was modern clean and comfortable,with everything you need .It was located in Antigone just outside the tram stop Leon Blum and 5 mins walk to the airport shuttle (line 120) stop -only 15 mins journey to the airport.Its 10 mins walk to a shopping complex Polygone which leads out onto the main square La place Comedie -so everything within walking distance.

No bed and mold
When we arrived all of the photos from the internet where form the newly redone lobby. Our room was dark and dirty and there was a pull out couch for a bed, water stains on the ceiling and the bathroom had moldIt is not near the center of town like it says and we hd a view of the dirty and smelly ally. The hallway were painted an industrial gray and horrible lighting . This was the worst placed I have stayed !

We had several rooms, and the staff worked to accommodate us in every way they could. Tram stop ( Line 1 - Leon Blum) is literally on the doorstep of the hotel. Very pleased with the rooms and the service. Enjoyed the outdoor gathering area.

Great little spot for a stay in Montpellier. Just east of the main square, the hotel was a ten minute walk from everything. The hotel itself was clean and the service and reception were excellent. A very good, clean 3+ star hotel.

Tram stop literally outside hotel front door. 5 mins walk from Bus Stop to/from Montpellier Airport. Hotel on a par with a Travelodge/Premier Inn in UK, but with a kitchenette. TV had English news channels.

We spent a night in a studio apartment with a kitchenette; the rooms are nicely remodeled and the place is walking distance to the city center. Approaching with a car was an issue, because there is no place to stop before getting the keycard for the garage, so we had to stop several blocks away.

My stay was comfortable.The staff members were pleasant. The room was comfortable and well heated. I stayed there for a business trip and it was more than sufficient. The only slight problem was that there was the smell of cigarette smoke in the room. But it was very faint and you could also tell that they tried to get rid of it.

Depends on the room!
I was a bit disappointed with my stay to be honest, especially given the great reviews I had read. Had I been given a quieter room to begin with, things might have been a bit different. However, I was allocated a street-facing first floor room near the lift so the sound of trams going by (and the \"ding\") was a bit annoying plus the room was not well-insulated so there was a lot of noise from above and just outside the room as well. It was also quite cold with just one radiator in the room which didn't give out much heat. I asked if I could change rooms but was told, in a not particularly friendly way, that it was fully booked and it was not possible to change until the final night of my stay. I completely appreciate that may have the been the case but it was the unfriendly and unhelpful manner I was told that was disappointing. Other than that, the rooms are nice, there are lots of restaurants nearby and if you get a quiet room and are served by the young guy on the front desk, you will probably quite enjoy your stay!

Close to Tram and shopping mall
The Leon Blum metro station is literally just outside the apartments. If arriving at Sabines bus station simply catch the Line 2 Tram, change to Line 1 and you can be delivered to the front door. The apartments are close to a shopping mall and there are a few restaurants near by. There is also a convenient hair salon next door to the apartments. The apartment we had was very roomy and with the exception of a sofa that required cleaning, we could not fault the apartment. The property is a little 'tired' but with the amount of room and the convenience of access when travelling with heavy luggage (without walking or taxis), this apartment can be recommended.
