Fabulous hotel in Montmartre. The room was excellent, perfectly clean and just what we had wanted. I had requested if possible a room with a view of the street and they delivered! Not only was there a view of the street below and most of Paris but also a view of the Sacré Coeur too which was amazing. The staff were all so inviting and friendly and attended to our every need. We will be back!

I can't say enough how happy I was with my 2 night stay. I wish I could have stayed longer. I travel a lot and this little hotel is a standout. From the design and the size of the room, to the staff at all level, the breakfast and service, truly delightful.

Comfortable bed and bedding. Plenty of USB chargers in the room. Lift to all floors. I recommend this property enthusiastically! Definitely begin your day with the the breakfast buffet. The eggs were the creamiest I have ever had, the ham, exquisite, and the bakery goods come in fresh every morning. You may also boil eggs, have cereal, yogurt, fruit, cheeses, bacon, and nuts. They always have a chocolate cake and a pistachio almond cake. I especially liked the brioche rolls and the croissants. In addition the coffee choices were varied and unlimited There were always 2 choices of juice and one could fill a carafe with either still or sparkling water and bring it back to your room. The room we booked had twin beds and the decor and all the extra touches like the glasses, note paer, and bedding was everything one would expect in a hotel des artes. It was clean and the bathroom was spacious. The staff was exceptional from the greeting (a shout out to Alessandra), to the efforts they made to book cabs and suggest where to eat (again Alessandra) . Every evening the bar area has beer and wine, snacks, and cakes and it was a delightful way to end a day. The night manager, Christophe was helpful, and accommodating and a wonderful host. The day staff too made use feel valued, welcome, and safe. This is where you need to stay!

My only complaint is rooms are small for the price you pay, and bathrooms are ridiculously small! This is normal I think for Paris. You can barely move in them. Fantastic location! Not for anyone with mobility issues though. Quite hilly.

Staff was excellent, and provided friendly, helpful service. Our garden-view ground floor room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel location is perfect for exploring the sights, arts, and cafés in the Montmartre district, including a hike up to Sacré Coeur.. Metro station is an enjoyable 5 minute walk from the Hotel, and it is a ten minute walk to the famous Moulin Rouge.
Breakfast was OK, but over-priced compared to other restaurants within a short walk.
Be sure to check your bill at check-out - we were overcharged for breakfast (four full breakfasts were charged although we only had one full and one continental breakfast during our stay). Several attempts to contact the hotel for a credit did not prompt a response.

The Montmartre area around the hotel had lots of options for dining, the Moulin Rouge is within walking distance. Two Metro stations were within walking distance. The Abesses Metro station is a very long climb with many stairs (no escalators) to get to the street level. There is an elevator that holds about 10-15 people. Even people who had no apparent difficulty walking would take the elevator it was such a climb. There are several stairs even after getting off the elevator. I would advise that it would be difficult for anyone with mobility problems to get around (hilly, narrow cobblestone streets). The hotel is fairly close to Sacre Coeur but would be a difficult walk for people with mobility issues. Apart from that it is very French area to visit.

Perfect hotel for exploring Montmartre and the rest of Paris. Handy for the metro but equally easy to walk to most visitor attractions. Lovely selection of cafes, restaurants, wine bars, patisseries, and unique shops just a short stroll away and the hotel is situated in a quiet street. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The honesty bar and complimentary coffee/ tea/ soft drinks/ cake in the afternoon / evening were a very nice addition. Also the ice cold still & sparkling water that was on tap all the time. The rooms were small but had everything a larger hotel would offer - safe, hairdryer, laundry service, air con, tea making facilities, and gorgeous L,Occitane toiletries in the bathroom. All in all a great little place to stay and enjoy all Paris has to offer.
