The hotel itself was fine and the staff was helpful - the area is sketchy though.

It was quiet enough, and close to the main train station, but I was harassed a couple of times walking there, vand saw Subutex packages on the ground in the area (not on the hotel property). It was still safer than where I live, but not an area I'd want to stay in again for vacation.

The hotel decor looks like it's from the 80s, but was well maintained and lookes new. That and the EU centric theme added to the unique ambience. The room was air conditioned and had all the conveniences, plus the staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was cute, well presented with double windows to prevent the noise but still able to open for some fresh air.
Welcoming and very efficient service from reception staff, average breakfast, missing the baguette and the delicious croissants that one would expect when in France.

Very clean and comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful staff. It’s conveniently located less than a 10-minute walk from the old town. Easy to reach from the airport as well, just take the airport shuttle, then a short tram ride (3 stops), followed by under 5 minutes of walking. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, which wasn’t mentioned on Hotels.com. The breakfast was quite basic, but aside from that, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay in Montpellier - the town is a real hidden gem: plenty to see and do, and a chill, friendly vibe. We liked it so much we returned a second time on our trip around South France, and we stayed at Hotel Privilège Eurociel Centre Comédie on both occasions.

Nice hotel, located close to the very walk-able old-town city centre with plenty of dining and sight-seeing options nearby - no need to drive. We really appreciated the secure, on-site parking that was included (just make sure you follow the property's advice and reserve a spot when you book your room - we didn't have any issue, but their parking area is limited and could possibly fill up.)

Our Business Double Room was not huge, but the rooms are clean, bright, comfortable and pleasant. Overall, an excellent value.

What made our stay particularly memorable was the outstanding staff - friendly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with (looking at you Nicole, Leo and especially Rodrigo!) Good communication before our arrival (see above re reserving a parking space) and very kind and welcoming when meeting in person.

Strange to have such good soundproofing for the trams etc outside but seemingly paper thin doors so you could very easily hear the corridor. Exquisitely clean hotel in the center of Montpellier. Staff was friendly and helpful, spoke French and English. They even found some clothing I left behind and called when it was found. Free parking in the hotel lot. Tricky location to find because of Montpellier’s many one-way and circuitous streets. Some street noise from college students on a weekend night, but the hotel itself was very quiet. An excellent stay.

A very good experience

It is a very good experience overall. The hotel is located in the city's center, yet it offers secure parking. The property is newly renovated, and clean. It has a unusualy large bathroom and a separate WC, and good soundproof (from street noice) and effective AC. The bed is comfortable, too. Mathias at the reception was very friendly and helpful. Will return.

Top for a weekend-trip

The Hotel is situated close to the Place de la Comedie and to numerous restaurants and shopping-facilities (Mall \"Polygone), the staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room (with coffemachine and a small bottle of free mineralwater per day and person) was clean, pleasant and functionel.

Very nice, comfortable place

Very nice hotel with a charming, young staff. The room in which we stayed, called Norvege, strangely had no windows. It did have skylights, which can be opened. It also required carrying baggage up a spiral staircase. All do-able, but perhaps not the best for those who are not agile. All that said, we had a lovely time. Great breakfasts and a good location within walking distance of the Place de la Comedie and lots of eateries.

Feedback for room 55 - troubles around

Smelt bad in the room, something like wc or bad cleaning of bathroom. Air conditioning not sure to work very well with an incident message on the command.

And finally we were two, both agree with the shampoo/body lotion not very efficient.

I checked in the Hôtel Eurociel without any bites and came out two days later covered in bites all over my body.

When i wrote to the hotel they said (predictably) that they had never had bedbugs and had inspected the room carefully.

They didn't even bother to apologise, but said I could have a preferential rate if I stayed again - as if!

Our stay was very pleasant with great service from the staff especially Mathias at the front desk. It was a short walk to Place de Comedie where the action is abundant with lots of food choices. We enjoyed a couple of dinners at IT (Italian Trattoria?) and one at Green Lab (healthy choice). Overall a nice visit

This was a great hotel for our 1 night stay. We had a 2 room suite for the 3 of us and it was perfect. It had a grat balcony to enjoy some wine/tapas at night and was spacious. The hotel staff were also amazing and friendly. They let us check in early and even gave us glasses to enjoy some champagne in the lounge while waiting for our train ride back to Spain!

We enjoyed our stay in the Loft apartment which was across the street from the main hotel. Service was friendly. Apartment was clean and updated with quiet balcony. The parking spaces were wide enough for our small SUV. We thought the location was very convenient. The area immediately around the hotel was quiet but didn't have much for dining options, but its only a few minutes' walk to an area with lots of cafes' and restaurants and a short walk to the main square and Place de la Comedie.

Everyone working at the hotel was very friendly. The shower in the room was very big and excellent. The only annoying thing about the hotel is the fact that there is only one lift and it isn't the fastest. I ended up taking the stairs every single time.

Perfect location

I arrived by train and within 5 minutes was at the hotel. From the hotel it takes about the same time to reach the Place de la Comédie in one direction and about 3 minutes to reach Polygone shopping mall. Location couldn’t be more perfect.
My room was surprisingly spacious with a good bathroom and unusually a separate bathroom although I think the room I received is probably larger than most in the hotel.
