The Hyatt is perfectly located! Close to food, downtown, the beach and boardwalk, Mystery Spot. My family and I were able to walk to most places or just have to take a quick drive. Having 24 hour valet was convenient for coming and going, especially as a family with littles. The heated pool and jacuzzi was an absolute hit for day and nighttime use. Breakfast every morning was a relief and one less thing to have to worry about. Room was clean and didn’t feel overcrowded with 2 adults and 2 littles. All in all, we had a great stay. Totally going to stay here again. Oh, last thing, the staff was timely, friendly, and attentive!

Probably need a car to get to the restaurant/shopping area and the beach areas. Nice and helpful staff. Good breakfast with scrambled and hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, various breads, and rotating dishes like potatoes, bacon bits or sausage.

We didn't eat breakfast there because we wanted to enjoy the Santa Cruz diner but it looked good and there were a lot of people eating. The highlight however was the valet. That guy had me laughing and he gave us great directions and options of things to do before our concert.

The only thing I would suggest to improve is how you wash the towels or what detergent you use. The towels smell very strongly of cleaning agents.

Good find for our family if 6 adults. Spacious rooms. Suggestions are to provide body lotion in the room. Also, for our room the TV is a bit small based on distance from bed to TV. Might be that room was a little bigger than other rooms. Enjoyed hot tub being open until 10 pm. We were able to walk to boardwalk and pier which was appreciated. Not a big fan of extra fees like paying to park but the valet staff was friendly.

Very disappointed with the check-in. We got there a little bit early for our check-in and of course we were told our room was not going to be ready until 3 PM. They were supposed to call us and let us know. We called at 3 o’clock and they said the room was not cleaned yet, to wait another half an hour. We contact the office again, but it was not ready yet. We never got a phone call. We ended up doing our activities around the area and at 11 PM our room was given. Nobody knew what happened, The food is not good at all, we got stomachache from it. Front desk is not friendly at all.

When me and my girlfriend stayed the night in the hotel room we woke up to having red spots on ours body's and we didn’t think nothing of it till a few days later when the the red dots grew into bigger pimples the doctors said they were bedbugs bites. Please do better in cleaning

What I do not like is the on the floor air conditioner that forcefully blows cold air directly at the bed. I turned off the air conditioning altogether rather than having that cold draft.
The room was spacious and clean with a view of greenery out the two large windows, and the lobby staff was friendly and helpful, and there was a large and comfortable lobby area.

I picked this hotel due to the short car ride to Pasatiempo Golf course (about 10-15 min). My initial room was window overlooking to swimming pool which extremely loud as there were many people in pool area so I asked front desk for a new room and they were nice enough to accommodate and change room facing parking lot which was much more quiet. The room I had was quite spacious and it was a typical Hyatt place hotel room. Beds were comfortable enough and there was shampoo and conditioner and soap bar but no body lotion. The valet for parking cost more than expected but it was fine, valet guys were nice and cars came out pretty fast. Our room came with free breakfast which is basic continental breakfast food. There is a great Chinese restaurant next to hotel and we ate there twice. There is a 7-11 store across street where we bought some stuff. If you need groceries, there is a Whole Foods store which was 5 minute drive. One complaint I would say is that the AC unit was very loud when it auto turned on, it was like a rocket engine turning on so it woke me up during the night each time the AC turned on. Overall a good stay for 3 nights.
