Need to do way better

walked-in and there was no one at the front desk, and eventually someone came and started to attend to something else and not attending to guest , eventually i got attended after 35 Minutes, then walked in to my room and all i could smell was wet carpet , huge wall crack on entrance wall, there are two couches and they havent been clean properly they even lost their original color, the bathroom floors where filthy, basin and taps had white waters marks, the handle on the bathroom door was loose and was about to fall. the bathroom wall tiles were fogy. and i was expecting the bed to be more comfortable than my own bed

This place is awful. Dirty curtains in room. Dirty room, bedding however was fresh. Nice breakfast. Room service, my steak was good served with rock hard vegetables. Just could or find anything to like there. Staff friendly not their fault that their is a problem with the cleaning. Never again shame on you Southern Sun!

Overall is a good property and good hotel. The personal in the restaurant it is not prepared to receive a big group of people. They get lost and forget about the clients... But overall comparing with other Tsogo Sun hotels, the staff is less prepared to deal with the clients. Missing some professionalism. Need more training. I also did note like the fact that my bedroom had doors connecting to other bedrooms... made me feel uncomfortable. I hope my comment help you to improve. The hotel has lots of potential.

So so stay..

My stay was so so, though they’ve made me wait for longer on my check in. Reception was ok, dinning hall staffs were friendly and helpful. Bt the food was so so. Breakfast was so so.. Bt dinner was terrible.. dessert worse. The standard is low yet we paid so much. Rooms are old ( doors and light switches. Cleaners they don’t clean the rooms properly. I wasn’t happy with their service as a result I don’t think I will recommend it to anyone. You have to ask for everything, shower caps, only one small soap,old wardrobe, yb for breakfast I had to ask everytime for coffee and they will give you one sachet and if you still want another cup I f coffee, you asked again( I wasn’t happy for that) in short I think the standard is getting lowered.

Bitterly disappointed- feel cheated !

The only good thing about the hotel is the location.

Apart from that everything was sub standard. Granted , it’s supposedly 3 star - but that hotel deserves1 star.

Where shall I start, apart from being old and in need of urgent refurbishment; the safety locks on room doors were falling off, stench on the floor we were on was putrid . Shower felt like a drizzle -maybe it was set that way because off the water restrictions!

Called reception several times to alert them of the cleanliness of the lift as well as the stench of the 5th floor.

Breakfast was like a circus , maybe a fish market is more apt ! Actually not, smelt more like a sheep farm than a fish market !

Porter - this services doesn’t not exist at this hotel.

If this is tsogo suns standards , I’m afraid they will be losing a lot of patronage .

Bitterly disappointed - I had unfortunately booked 4 rooms at this hotel for several nights.

Needless to say it wasn’t a real dampener on our holidays .

Usually stay here for it's proximity to UCT. Room was clean, but it had a damp smell. Toilet was leaking and would not flush intermittently.

Good hotel and spacious rooms. The staff was helpful . The only feedback is that breakfast area gets very crowded ( as it is peak season ) and it can take upto 20 minutes to get a table

All good except (1) isolated and far from shopping (2) Free wifi is too smal at 350 mbs (3) it helps if they change breakfast items daily (4) Taxis arranged by hotel are costlier. All other factors are good to excellent. Quality of wifi excellent

It took over an hour to check in. The reason, no payment from Hotels.com received. The wifi was not working. I got three different instructions about signing in. This proves that the employees do not have experience and knowledge

Stuff so lovely, but no hot water for 2 days

We had no hot water on Wednesday morning, we reported and they sad they will fix it, Thursday we had to call reception again to notofy them we still didnt have hot water.
Extra charges on arrival and when checking out.
The stuff was very friendly though, everyone was just so welcoming and easy to approach, the waiters and waitresses were so helpful and constantly cleaning our tables. KeKe and Navier are the best stuff you have there.

I was very upset when I returned just before 3 on Wednesday to find my room unmade. This really place me in a very uncomfortable situation as I rushed to my Hotel for a SKYPE conference. I cannot contemplate the high cost of the Hotel and then getting back to an unmade bed. It place me in a very uncomfortable situation to be in the room while it was still cleaned.
My meeting with my international company was uncomfortable because of your bad service.
Your service manager did come to apologize but the damage was done and I just wanted to get out of your hotel and back in my own clean and kept home.

Fab family holiday

We chose this hotel for our Cape Town holiday following recommendations by my brother who is a frequent guest there on business. Apart from the appalling telephone/customer service to confirm our booking prior to our stay, we had a lovely holiday. We rented a car and GPS upon arrival at the airport from Avis. The hotel was so easy to locate and less than half an hour's drive from the airport given that it was our first time in Cape Town. The hotel has amazing great views of Table Mountain, the city and ocean. The staff on check in, Lungi & Sumaya were friendly, great and totally dedicated to their work. We had rooms with the ocean and city views. Spacious and clean rooms with comfy beds. Buffet breakfast was great and yummy and staff service was excellent. We had gym access and swimming pool too which the kids made use of, but we couldn't be asked as we were on holiday to relax and all. Overall we had a great stay and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. We also got to meet a few soccer stars for the CHAN tournament and took a few photos with them at the hotel. Great location and all. I would love to stay here again and would definately recommend it.

situation géographique idéale, navette gratuite

Nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour sa situation géographique à coté de l’aéroport atteint en 5 minutes avec sa navette gratuite (toutes les 15 minutes) sans risques de bouchons.Bon petit déjeuner buffet et bon restaurant buffet le soir.Bon accueil.Chambre un peu étroite pour ouvrir deux grandes valises à refaire pour le vol retour!Bonne insonorisation .Beau jardin avec fleurs autour de l’hôtel .Piscine extérieure petite,dommage qu'il n'y a pas de piscine intérieure et c'est peut être pour cela que cet hôtel est un des moins cher du quartier ! Très bon hôtel à conseiller si on ne veut pas aller à Johannesburg (insécurité) après un circuit ou avant un départ .Accueil charmant dans la boutique de souvenirs bien approvisionnée.

zimmer ok aber dunkel

Die Zimmer sind groß, es ist alles da, aber leider sehr dunkel. Das hat schon sehr gestört. Frühstücksbüffet gut. Allerdings als ich neue Marmelade orderte, bekam ich ein angebrochenes Glas. In der Marmelade war quack oder Käse. Da deute ich, dass die Reste von den Tellern wieder zurück in die Gläser gefüllt werden. Geht gar nicht. Leider auch kakerlacken im Haus. Die draußen sind nicht so störend. Sauberkeit nicht so doll. Personal an der reception sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bedienung Restaurant leider nicht so freundlich teilweise.
