Topolowa Residence is an independent boutique hotel established in march 2014. Our location in the Grzegórzki district offers blissfully quiet relief from the hustle and bustle of Krakow's lively Old Town, being at the same time in close vicinity of the complex of the main train and bus stations and Galeria Krakowska Shopping Centre.

The beauty of the Old Town awaits within just a 15 minute walk from the hotel. The trademark of Topolowa Residence is the restored historic building from the 19th century that combines classy elegance with delicate historic details.

Our offer consists of 11 exclusively designed apartments placed on the four levels of the building. The apartments are all accessed from a classic wooden staircase elegantly accompanied by marble floors.

Every apartment has been designed with greatest attention to detail. The young team of Topolowa Residence is willing to meet the requirements of our Guests by providing assistance with regard to tours and transfers, restaurant recommendations or even nanny service.

Good value for a well-located, accessible, and overall welcoming place. Anticipate a small room with reliable hot water and good pressure, working elevators, and an attentive bar and kitchen staff who should probably be running the front desk. Over the years, I'd say this is one of my favorite London stays. With a tube station right around the corner, LHR extremely cheap tube ride away, the excellent Maroush Restaurant across the street, and a tasty breakfast with one heck of a well-run bar, Miiro is over of my new favorite London stays.

I had an absolutely magnificent time. My stay was relaxed and comfortable. It’s very convenient when everything is very close and walkable distances. The room was soooo clean; the property was well maintained. The staff was prompt, friendly and super informative. I had a few issues entering the building when i arrived but staff was helpful. They answered my questions promptly and reassured me. There isn’t an elevator but it did not bother me at all. It’s all part of the experience. The shower had the most amazing water pressure so after a long day of walking and exploring, it was great. Thank you to the staff for their incredible service. I will come back!

Good accommodation, comfortable and clean. Slightly out of the main tourist area but only about a 15-20 minute walk away. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The only thing I didn’t realise on booking was that this accommodation is not serviced during your stay. Although extra pillows and towels were found in the wardrobe. Overall extremely good value for money

A luxury stay at Topolowa Residence

Wow, what a great place. I don't imagine all apartments are the exact same but I stayed in 311 and it was absolutely lovely. The space was huge, ample storage room, a whole kitchen attached which I wasn't expecting and a perfect location for the train station and close enough to get to the Old Town Square in 20 minutes walk or less. I walked around town the entire time and never used public transport so this was accessible for those on foot. A really quiet area and great for the price. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends visiting Krakow.

The apartment smelt so fragrant and fresh.

Large shower and plenty of toilet roll, soap, shampoo and conditioner.

Doors automatically locked so felt very safe. Easy to order Deliveroo meals and get Uber taxis etc.

About a fifteen minute lovely walk from the Old Town.

Employees were so helpful. My train was delayed and I was going to arrive after check in. I messaged them and they messaged back quickly with my information and how to access my room. This could have been a disaster but they were able to make it very pleasant for me. It is also very close to the square nad town center along with wawel castle. The apartments were the best that I have been exposed to, so far thru Expedia ! They were clean , up to date , very nice bathroom , and plenty of room in all the rooms ! I was actually very surprised as to how nice they were and they would be my first choice when I return to Krakow ! The staff was always nice and helpful ! Perfect. A convenient location, 5 min walk to the city’s shopping mall, combined with the peacefulness of a quiet residential street.
It is close to the trams, has a wonderful pizza parlour around the corner along with nice little coffee shops too.

The property is well maintained and very comfortable and quiet. Location is great only a short distance from the main train station and Krakow old town. The only slight downside is the location of the plug sockets making it slightly difficult to use straighteners with uk plug near a mirror. Other than that everything was excellent

I liked the fact that it was close to the train station. It would have helped if there was a street map on their site as which streets led you to the apt. location. The instruction for entry into the building were not clear. 1 and key button and 4 digit code provided. Also the box outside of the Apt was not clearly described in the instructions. It hangs on the frame of the door. The code to open the box is so long that it is impractical. So you must carry the key.
But the apartment was very very comfortable. I was doubtful about the two local places to dine out. They turned out to be a nice surprise. So all in all it is a good location for those touring Krakow.

Huge spotless room

This was the cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in as well as the room being absolutely massive. Everything was spotless. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel is convenient for the main bus and rail station being about a 7 minute walk away.

There is no lift so its not suitable for people with mobility problems.

Fantastic property to stay at when you visit Krakow. Easy walking distance to all attractions, shoppings, restaurants and bars. The staff at the property are outstanding with making you feel at home and providing advice on where to eat, drink and visit attractions. Special mention to Sophie who provided outstanding hospitality.
This property is one of the best we have stayed at, only small but very intimate.
Breakfast vas very impressive with a great choice of fresh foods available.

Amazing could not do enough for me and my family. The staff are excellent very very helpful. On a slightly down side, the bed settee in the executive room is very uncomfortable, might need to change this for a better quality bed settee.

Beautiful apartments in a quiet area walking distance to Old Town. Andre the manager was very nice and so helpful with restaurant recommendations and directions. Lovely staff, good breakfast and bar area. No elevator but nice wide stairway. Apartments are roomy and very comfortable.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in!

Amazing hotel, nothing was too much trouble.
Rooms were fabulous and very clean.
Breakfast was delightful and great cocktails from the hotel bar every night!
Whilst the hotel is out of the old town this is not a bad thing. It means no noise and a very peaceful nights sleep. It is a short walk from the train station and everywhere else is easily walkable or if you’re feeling a bit tired just take an Uber!!

One of the Best Places I've ever stayed

This place is amazing. The staff are 1st class and cant do enough for you. The minute you arrive you're struck by the beauty of the building and quickly after how nice, friendly and efficient they are, nothing is a problem. Breakfast was very good with plenty on offer and the little bar super, great value in drinks compared to old town prices. The walk into town is about 10 mins but its straightforward, so ideal if you want a quiet out of the way spot. I will tell anyone going to Krakow to stay here, they wont be disappointed

You enjoy a friendly check in with complimentary hot drink and a shot of flavoured Vodka to the second you check out everything is done to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I can only commend the staff for their friendliness, attention to detail and making our stay as memorable and relaxing as they could. The hotel is in a quiet location though only a few minutes stroll to the train / bus station / shopping mall. The main square is a few minutes further on. Drinks in the hotel bar are considerable less than the bars in town and perfect for a night cap.

Topolowa offers the best of both worlds, your own apartment and the attention of staff when you need them. The apartments are stunning and huge. We were very comfortable and very well looked after. The service was exceptionally friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable and tastefully decorated. It’s worth noting that there’s no lift if mobility is an issue. The only criticism I can find is that the decor in the lounge/bar is a bit basic. If it could be brought up to the standard of the bedroom it would be the cherry on the cake.

Amazing stay in a beautiful hotel with excellent service that could not be faulted in any way. The taxi pick up and trips arranged by the hotel were superb, made even better by the fact that the trips collected us from the hotel. Do not be put off by the distance to the main square, we walked this twice a day and it was easy and straightforward. It’s location also meant it was very quiet at night, no noise from crowds of people passing by so a greats night sleep was a definite bonus. If we visit Krakow again I would not hesitate to use the hotel again and will definitely be recommending it to friends.

Beautiful rooms with fantastic staff

I can not recommend this place enough. It is a wonderful establishment with beautiful rooms and service is fantastic.

On our arrival they welcomed us with a local vodka drink to celebrate, which was a nice touch and put a smile on our faces. The hostess then gave us a map and highlighted areas of interest and gave detailed information of places to visit.

Our rooms were ready ahead of check in so we were able to go up and unpack early (note: it’s an old building, so no lift, but stairs are manageable. I don’t think of that as a negative, it’s part of the charm).

Our room was immaculate and would have gladly spent a few weeks there if I could and very well priced for what you get. Breakfast is a serve yourself buffet but the selection is plentiful and fresh.

It was memorable and joyful stay and we’d gladly stay there again.

The hotel is a 10min walk from the old town square and is ideally located for public transport links. As for the hotel, well I've stayed in many in my time through business and this is special. I hesitate to tell you how much we enjoyed the TOPOLOWA. I don't want it to be fully booked when we next want to stay there. And we will stay there again.

The facilities are excellent. The rooms are spacious, very well equipped and the beds are so comfortable. They even have a bed-turn down service and a chocolate placed on the bed.

The continental breakfast is more than adequate with lots of choices of breads, cheeses and meats.

The biggest asset of the Toplolawa is the staff. It's staffed by fairly young people but with old fashioned values regarding customer service. They were absolutely excellent. So friendly, so patient with our endless questions, and so knowledgeable about all things Krakow.

Topolowa Residence was an excellent choice for us.

It's about a 12-15 minute walk to the Old Town but 8 minutes from a tram into town and 5 minutes from the main train and bus station and one of the most impressive shopping centres I have ever seen.

The Topolova has 3 floors but no lift so bear this in mind when booking a room.

I can't recommend this accommodation more strongly - great.

This is the best three star hotel we have ever stayed at. The staff couldn't do enough for us, the rooms were spacious, the showers excellent and the breakfast had everything we could possibly want.

The only points to be aware of are the lack of a lift (although your bags will be moved to/from your room for you, and the 15-20 minute walk into town. Uber cabs were available and only £4-5, taxis were also plentiful and easy to order.
