Stunning for a short weekend

The hotel was easy to find, very clean and aesthetically pleasing. Parking was excellent too. Hot drinks when we want, perfection. Breakfasts were a small showing. Very nice and fresh. The staff were always polite. I was in awe of their language skills, but they really do care for you. Wifi was ok, slow but in truth we didnt really need it.

The room. It's odd not to have a kettle in a room, so that was weird. I'd say the 4 person room we slept in (404), which had one double and two singles was very clean and comfortable. My only critique is that each bed came with one pillow. Beds are better with two. However besides this, the room was lovely and I'll be honest, key cards or keys are annoying, here they use 6 digit pin and this is much better. The view was amazing and we enjoyed our 3 day stay.

Good hotel on the edge of the city centre. Difficult to find by car as it is at the end of a pedestrianised dead end. Parking onsite in the underground car park is very expensive so decided to park on street overnight for free but limited space in the immediate vicinity. Variety of restaurants within 5-10 minutes walk.

To be or not to b&b

When we arrived, we found our way to the car park. Signage said spaces available, we parked in a bay and made our way up to check in. The receptionist said we couldn’t park in the car park as there were no spaces available, we explained there were and that we’d parked in one of their bays but she insisted that we (with two tires young children) moved our car to another car park down the road. If there was no space, we wouldn’t have minded but it was very strange. Breakfast was a bit basic too and no hot drinks in rooms or to be taken to rooms.

Overnight stopover

Overnight stopover on the way back to the UK. Served its purpose. Quiet and clean. Arrived late and left early so didn’t get to see or use any facilities. Had to park car overnight in car park about 3 mins walk away from hotel 17.5 euros

Giving it excellent as it exactly fits the bill for what it says and were looking for. Comfortable basic rooms at really good prices. Did not have the breakfast so cannot comment but there is a machine with free hot drinks that was very convenient when going out in the morning. Location was perfect for us as we had to be in Nieuw Zuid but easy walk to get closer to more things in Antwerp.

Very friendly and efficient staff. Parking was full, but they recommended us a public parking lot a block away, that was cheaper anyway.

Basic stay

The stay was fine, rooms are really small and thin walls you could hear everything. Housekeeper entered our room through the keypad door without knocking while we were still in bed. Also the room wasn’t made up the second day so we had to go down to the desk to ask for clean towels.

Book direct not with hotels.com. It’s cheaper

My father struggles to walk and even though I asked for a disabled room we where placed on the 4th floor and at the furthest point away from the lift

We did get given the option to change however my father was settled and didn’t want to make a fuss

Distance from the City Center

The only problem that we revealed was the distance from the city-center. As a matter of fact, we walked around 1 hour from the gare before arriving to the hotel.
The deliveries such as free hot-beverages next to the reception were a real surprise, very pleasant for both of us.
Otherwise the hotel was clean and the staff very professional. We recommend it

The hotel itself was nice and new. The check in was not smooth - the roads around the hotel were all closed for construction and I did not receive a notice from the hotel. This is the type of customer service that would keep me coming back - letting me know about the construction and what to watch for. The room was big enough - barely - and the drapes did not adequately over the windows.

The location was great for our needs. The neighborhood, though completely under construction currently, has a lot to offer and was very convenient. The room was very nice but rather spartan. Very no frills. The staff was excellent as was breakfast.

New hotel in a great location

Great value for the money. The rooms are basic but all you can ask for for a short stay. A lot of construction going on around but couldn't hear anything with the window closed. Free coffee and tea at all times, but paid parking. Many lovely restaurants very close by and city center is a 20-minute walk, but you can walk at the river.

Good for a quick stopover. Rooms were clean and a decent size but tiny bathrooms. Found street parking nearby but hotel is surrounded by construction sites. Didn’t bother us as it was Boxing Day.

Good budget hotel

Not particularly close to the city center but easy connection via tram, even walking is ok is you are not in a rush, about 30 minutes. Area around is under construction so dust and mod on rainy days. Room was ok, complimentary coffee and tea.

Gute Lage, zu Fuß ist man in ca. 25 min im Zentrum. Sauberkeit war gut, Frühstück ok. Gibt besseres, aber auch schlechteres. Das Bett war recht klein (ca. 140 cm breit) und leider recht hart (kein Lattenrost, direkt unter der Matratzewar ein Holzbrett). Ansonsten dem Preis angemessen. Aufgrund des für unser Verhältnisse zu harten Bettes, würden wir nicht nochmal kommen. Für 1-2 Nächte ok.
