the beds were not comfortable, very soft and not easy for 2 persons to sleep, when you turn your partner has to turn or move as well. the sauna was out of order. the staff was really nice but charging 20euros for parking was really disappointing. I could rate with 4 stars but parking charge has cost you a star.

The reception staff were exceptional. Extremely helpful at all times. Also the house keeping staff were very efficient. We stayed for a month and our room was immaculate. We chose The Crowne Plaza not only for its location but we had a bath in our room, which is non negotiable for us. Thank you

Weak air conditioning

Face mirror was broken so we changed the room. However, the air conditioner was too weak so we came back to the original room. The air conditioner keeps at 25-26 degree which it is a bit difficult to fall asleep especially during heat wave season.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff in hotel and restaurant where the veg burger was good. Quite a bit of noise from the roads outside but didn’t stop me sleeping. Parking secure on site, it’s quite a way from city centre but local buses and uber worked a treat

Good stay outside of Antwerp. Clean and new enjoyed the pool , steam room and sauna. Bathroom didn’t have any lock , not sure why it wasn’t fixed before just a. If inconvenience . Only stayed one night so didn’t ask to move rooms . Would stay again

The hotel is nice inside, has a nice pool, gym, but the room I stayed in was so noisy from the traffic, with multiple freeways all passing in front and around and traffic flowing all night. I barely slept each night.
Tried to change rooms, but none on other side of building available.
Won’t stay here again for risk of getting similar facing room. Last time I stayed I must have been on the other side of the hotel.

First thing I find on the elevator wall in this place is a story about some local big shot architect who is obviously a genius, because he is local, who designed this monumental landmark, and therefore it is a piece of art. The truth is there are hundreds if not thousands of much better hotels. One important difference is they are quiet. When you build something of glass and concrete, gotta make sure you cut low frequency noise coming from a nearby highway. The genius architect here didn't. Knowing that, the reception staff must fill quietest rooms first to keep most guests comfortable especially when the place is only half full, if they care. We got a room facing highway on entirely empty floor. That was not very accommodating. We spent a troublesome night listening local traffic. The name of the receptionist is Ian.

Overpriced for what you got - particularly the restaurant. Very little choice for the restaurant menu and the prices were too high for the quality of the food. Advertised as a bar and a restaurant but did not have a separate bar

Close to motorway and city, easy check in, open air parking, great breakfast, super comfy beds, nice shower facilities, clean and decent general presentation.
I would stay again.
Great customers service from Reception staff.

Some things to improve: door repairs, stained carpet, AC is a smelly.

Staff were generally nice and approachable however when we requested extra towels for a family of four in the morning the housekeeper was a bit rude. The swiming pool is only for swimmers there is no shallow area for young non swmmers. Breakfast was good with lots to choose from. All in all a good stay.

I hope, the hotel or Expedia should make it very clear while booking.

The hotel is generally very good. My only complaint is the swimming pool’s temperature is so cold so didn’t enjoy it. The hotel is located in a very busy noisy road, hence can be a bit too much however I was on 8th floor so can’t hardly hear the noise of the city.

The hotel is not too bad. Nice pool for the kids. A bit far from the centre but if you are driving then its ok. Team very friendly. The only reason i gave a 3 star is because we were sat with another family for breakfast and i did not feel comfortable at all. Its supposed to be a hotel not staff room that u go and sit with whoever u want on ur break.

Awesome hotel with great facilities.

Second time staying at this hotel. Stayed for one night on a business trip. Great hotel with wonderful facilities.

Food in the bar is expensive 22 euros for a burger but there is a cafe at the garage next door with cheaper options.

Great hotel would definitely stay again. 12:00 check out also really helped as my meeting the next day was not till 1.

Upon arrival, the room was extremely hot. We set the A/C to 18 and left for a few hours. When we returned, the room temperature was 23. We spoke with staff, they came up and said that the A/C wasn't able to cool the room any further and it's beyond their control. They brought us a fan to help, however it didn't do much. The electrical outlet had fallen open and was exposed. We requested a box of tissues twice because they weren't refilled, non were ever brought to us. Upon check out, we were asked about our stay, we again explained the problems we experienced and the response was \"OK, thank you, see you next time\"??? This hotel is far from a 4 star, very dated and it seemed most things don't work and service is a challenge at best. Very disappointed with our experience!

The staff really made the difference in this hotel! They were great. Once thing needs to be addressed. The restaurant staff were not very pleasant or easy to work with. Every time I spoke with them I felt like I was bothering them.

The hotel is very well situated and has the airport bus stopping just in front which is fantastic. However the hotel was full of business people, not a place free to sit in the lobby. The restaurant was jam packed and noisy. The food was average. I probably will not return again.

No availability for dinner at restaurant, was told to go out to restaurant five minutes walk away in the dark along a main road by myself. Went to bed hungry - to find dirty sheets that had to be changed. No plugs near bed or near mirror. Very disappointed and staff seemed unconcerned.

We arrived at the Crowne Plaza mid-evening when it should have been early afternoon, thanks to Eurotunnel’s crass incompetence. Even before checking into our room we headed for the restaurant having not eaten anything substantial since breakfast. The restaurant was relaxed, the staff pleasant and our meals tasted jolly good!

Our room was large and quiet. (It would have been larger without two double beds!). We had a wonderful breakfast next morning lingering until 10:00 over endless cups of decent coffee. We were sorry to leave!

You wouldn’t stay here if you were planning to visit the city centre of Antwerp. However, it’s really handy for the motorway network. You can easily park for free on the roads at the front or side of the hotel. I paid for the hotel car park which was convenient though there’s a charge

Make sure you don’t need clothes cleaned!!

Hum.... when you think you trust a brand and then it really let’s you down, it’s not good! Especially when it comes to entrusting your clothes to them, and believing they will be returned clean and ready for use! Not in this case as my dirty laundry was left under reception. The poor chap on night duty tried to help, but at 6am I had to put on soaking wet clothes for my journey home! I don’t blame the chap on reception, he did his best, but was let down by his colleagues!!

Convenient location next to an autoroute. Very BAD signage telling customers that the car park is paying. Given that it is an out of town location €17 for parking from 11pm to 9am was a rip off, and an un-expected one because the signage is almost non existent. Check in was perfunctory - no real welcome at all. The room had two (small) double beds in it, they were comfortable, but not much space for two to share. breakfast was good - plenty of food, a good selection. Overall, it was OK, but by the time you add the taxes and the car park, the value for money was questionable. Would I rush back? no.

Great breakfast but very poor evening meal

Nice stay and our daughters loved the pool facility. It was unclear though about children above the age of 10 had to pay for breakfast as we thought is was included.
Breakfast was great and well worth the extra on the other hand being tired we ate in the evening at the hotel and found the food of mediocre standards especially for the price. Next time we shall get into town to get a great experience.
