A little tricky to find your way in the first time by car but well worth the effort.

An excellent value hotel. I could happily have stayed for a week had it been in a holiday resort and not East Kilbride.

Looks a bit like you are in East Germany from the outside but it’s lovely on the inside. I am booking again for next month.

Room was spacious and spotlessly clean. All staff encountered were very nice and friendly. Car park on rooftop of shopping centre was easy to access and navigate. Only one of the two lifts was functioning, hopefully it can be fixed quickly, as access from the car park was at level 2 and reception is on top floor level 12.

Finding the car park was an absolute nightmare. Had to call the reception 4 times, when I eventually found it I couldn’t get my car with roof rack under the extremely low barrier. After about 15 minutes I eventually found the bus drop off zone where I was advised to park. Myself and 2 young kids then got soaked getting to the ground floor entrance.

The staff were really good though, so was the room.

Very Disappointing Stay
I had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel. The room was not clean at all (bedsheet was dirty and pillow cover was having blood stains) looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned before my arrival. This immediately made me uncomfortable.
The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, which only made the situation worse. Simple requests were met with poor attitude and a complete lack of customer care.
Overall, the service was terrible and far below what I would expect from a hotel. I would not recommend staying here and definitely won’t be returning.

Staff extremely courteous and helpful. Check in was seamless no issues there. The room was clean and bed comfy but hallway and lifts not so clean. Breakfast was satisfactory but the chairs in the restaurant had leftover spilt food on them (both days that I had breakfast) and the window sill was covered in dust and dead files which was a tad off putting. The hotel is in a fantastic location for East Kilbride and with just a little bit of attention it could be great.

Comfort at a reasonable price.

Staff were the best feature, very friendly and helpful. Food quality was pretty average, and when we arrived on a Sunday night, a number of menu items were unavailable. Room was of good size with a walk-in shower and very comfortable bed, and was clean and well equipped with power outlets and heating system. Hotel occupies the top 4 floors of a tower, so all rooms have a great view.

Arrived after 10 hr drive and the room wasn’t cleaned. Bed had been slept in, rubbish in room, dirty towels on floor. Reception wanted us to wait till someone cleaned room! It was evening time and we were exhausted. Insisted on another room.
Reception staff appeared disinterested during 3 day stay, standing writing when we were waiting to order food.
Room kept tripping and we had no electricity.

Staff were great but the rest of it was very dated and the breakfast just acceptable.

Not for millennials as they’d probably freak out at the lack of choices, no oat milk, vegan or sourdough options. It was limited and the building like it’s not been redesigned since the 1970s but it was quirky and the shopping centre its in different to say the least.

There was a Spoons in the shopping centre which was unique and a welcome discovery

Parking is hard to find so check your emails because they send instructions. The prices at the bar were ridiculously priced £4 for a share bag of maltesers

Relaxed check out I was not rushed and was able to take my time. Some tv channels didn’t work limited entertainment

This is a difficult hotel entrance to find despite the conspicuous tall buildings with the hotel logo
We ended up at the coach/bus entrance and when enquired about how to access the hotel— the person was very rude and not helpful at all
We finally found the parking lot no 2 and even then another struggle to actually find the entrance
The shower was a hazard area— I fell and injured my elbow and my ankle
I’m still limping
Not even an apology from the hotel staff
We ended up leaving Scotland that day
This totally ruined our trip to UK as we came from Canada to spend a couple of weeks in Scotland

From the moment we walked in we notice a change in condition to the hotel cleanliness, check in was smooth and room on arrival was clean, except for the spoon with what looked like yoghurt dried on?
Lift and entrance areas were not clean as was in past,
Given a room nxt to exit which at first wasn't a problem but from 6am til 9am we got no sleep! Door constantly getting opened and closed people standing outside our room having conversations as they went in out door entrance to floor!!
Breakfast wasn't nice! Bacon was hard black pudding like rubber only scrambled egg that was also like rubber! Staff stood on phone watching stuff, when i refilled my coffee i saw someone given boiled eggs? Was this an option?? Was a fried egg an option?? 1 tomato left! Chairs dirty, cutlery dirty,
Wasnt a great experience,
We have been coming to this hotel once to twice yearly for last 8 years and reason was clean and tidy and great staff! What has happened

The property was quiet in a good area with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. In a good location on top of a mall which gave us access to plenty of restaurants and coffee shops for breakfast and dinner on late nights. however the hotel was not easy to find with google maps or Apple Maps and we drove in circles endlessly until the point we had to call the hotel for directions and Rooms did not have a fridge also the only handed one key for the room which was also an issue as firstly you need the key to access your floor and the rooms need the key to run the electricity in the rooms so if one of us wanted to go out and the other wanted to stay in the room it wasn’t practical

Impossible to get to and not worth any of your tim

There is no entrance that you can access without going through some ancient close down mall. Vehicles taller than your chest have to go to a parking lot that is about 100 m away down a dark dingy path. Absolutely should be closed down.
The room smelled like sewer, The hallways smell like combination of cologne and weed, The staff was condescending, And the neighborhood is a wreck. It neighbors a mall that is completely shut down. This is an absolute non-stay for anybody who has any designer for a nice stay.

Don’t stay here if you don’t like heights or lifts! The reception is on the top floor which is too high up to access with stairs. This isn’t made clear at all on the description. It’s also a very unusual layout been inside a shopping/business centre. Most of the doors were locked to get in and out of the building, finding a way out wasn’t easy then trying to get back in was a nightmare. Finding the front entrance was tricky on foot next to amin road with little signage. The car park was also not very easy to find upon arriving. The staff weren’t the most helpful, the receptionist didn’t care one bit that I wasn’t keen on the lifts and told me that were hundreds of stairs so they weren’t really an option which added to my panic about been on the 12th floor with no other way out. The breakfast staff told me to sit where I like then preceded to tell me not to sit where I had chosen! The breakfast was ok. Nothing great. The room however was lovely and very clean. I wouldn’t stay here agin based on its unusual location.
