We had a brilliant stay at the Social Hub Glasgow. Friendly staff, good price and room was very quiet with good amenities. I just wish we had more time to play table tennis or shoot some pool at the table in the lobby.

Lovely hotel, great location, room really nicely equipped and decorated. Easy check in/out process with staff on hand to assist if required.
Small niggles were a loose toilet seat and pixelated tv channels but we were only there one night so didn’t impact our stay much, notified staff on check-out.
Will likely stay again.

Just a fantastic place to stay. If you're on the fence, book it. Will 100% stay here again next time we are in Glasgow.

Amenities in the building were great, free laundry, gym, coffee in the room, snacks, books on art, areas to work or hang out, cafe downstairs.

Room itself was very nice, comfy, clean, coffee was good. View for our room was just the building, but I imagine others have a nice city view.

Area was good, easy to walk to places nearby. 10min walk gets you to the metro, or Glasgow Green park, restaurants, shops, bus stops.

Staff was super friendly and helpful as well, made things very easy.

I was surprised finding out that this hotel is also used by students long term, as it is really nice and well looked after! Unlike typical dorms! The staff there are absolutely amazing. Most of them I have contact with made me feel special and valued as a customer. A couple of them were especially nice, remembering me from previous days (I stayed there for 3 nights) and commented on our previous encounters.
Food is delicious and affordable, so I didn't even think of eating outside of the hotel. A huge choice of breakfast food, and dinner menu was interesting too.
Room was very clean and looked after, bed very comfortable and the pillows - I'd love to have them at home!
Communal areas there are welcoming and friendly. Also, I like their open support for LGBTQ+
The only one minus to the highest score is the fact that most rooms don't have fridges. It was quite hot during my stay in Glasgow and the option of having a cold drink from the fridge was not there. So instead of 10/10, I'm giving this place 9.5/10.

Beautiful clean rooms, comfy beds and housekeeping every day. Also soundproof rooms that have a fridge, what more do you need. We loved our stay and will definitely come back again 🙌😊.

Just one thing - no usb changing sockets 😳 very unusual. We had to load all our devices onto one plug each night to charge.

We were able to check in as soon as we arrived and the member of staff who assisted us was very helpful, although there's also a smart self-checkin system.

The room was beautiful and had everything we needed, including a mini-fridge for my husband's insulin pen. The hotel is in a fantastic and convenient location with many local shops and restaurants.

I also love the social idea, with a large area downstairs for chilling out and chatting with friends, playing pool, or working in the provided workspaces. We would happily stay here again!

- redecorating / construction in the building starting from 7AM— impossible to sleep / work — called down to the front desk twice and they didn’t do anything — kept saying they didn’t hear anything so they assumed the noise had stopped.

Also found the sticker of the bedding (size of the bedding) stuck to me when I woke up — which leads me to believe the sheets were never washed — I’m hoping they were at least new and unwashed, and not just unwashed between guests.

Arrived late and the security guy was seated more concerned about his mobile than opening me the door, totally ignoring my presence by the shuttered glass door, only after starting to make a call, he decided to finally stop looking to his mobile and open the door for me to come in, absolutely surreal. Once in, I was welcomed by the receptionists, key was handed over and I finally reached my room, which was clean and comfy.
In the morning, the breakfast was outstanding, leveling with a 5 start hotel.
Left strait after. Everything could be amazing if wasn’t for the security guy. Useless.

First time staying at the Social Hub. Loved the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of everything, the community area, and the brunch. The power went out in our room and the staff (Patrick) was incredibly helpful moved us into another room. Had a great time here and will definitely come again! We didn’t get to play ping-pong, but would love to next time! Will recommend this to our friends and family.

The location was very close to buses (for day trips meet-ups) and the two main train stations (Central and Queen Street). The bar and restaurant served great food and drinks for a reasonable price. The room was great but I only had one outlet converter and could have used some usb-c ports in the outlets. The staff were all excellent, friendly, and helpful.

Room was spotlessly clean. Would have preferred the sink in the shower room instead of in the bedroom! Really comfy bed and excellent soundproof. Had great sleep both nights. Wine was a bit pricey but never ate in restaurant. Used the gym and couldn't see cleaning materials for equipment. Would stay again.

What I liked: Very friendly and helpful staff, the free laundry room, huge breakfast (but pricey).

What I did not care for: too dark rooms with limited lighting, making it hard to see inside luggage, too dark halls, warm but not hot shower water, non-user friendly thermostat with no handy instructions, half-hearted toilet flushing, tricky TV streaming connections, not easy to use the stairs if one prefers to skip the very slow (1) elevator.

Just back from a nice couple of days at the Social Hub in Glasgow. The only real issue we had with the place was that one of the two rooms that we booked wasn't ready at check in time leaving us hanging around waiting till we could all get settled in and head out into town.
Apart from that though the hotel was a brilliant base from which to explore the city. Everything is pretty much in walking distance from the hotel but if you need it there are plenty of public transport options if you want to go further afield.
The room was smallish (which we expected) and clean. Considering its city centre location it's also pretty quiet with blackout curtains and a comfortable bed aiding a good night's sleep.
Staff were all exceptionally friendly, helpful and (in the case of the delayed room) genuinely sorry that they'd slipped up.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hub for a short break, and look forward to returning.

I’ve stayed about 4 times now on solo/couple visits. If you don’t mind an ‘industrial look’ finish, it’s a great base in Glasgow. One bathroom towel wasn’t up to the usual super clean standard but everything else was spotless.

This is a great choice for Glasgow. The location is very central yet the rooms are quiet and also very comfortable beds to ensure a great nights sleep. Simply decorated and no clutter in the room and very clean. We liked it so much we stayed on 2 separate occasions on our Scotland trip. Highly recommended - oh yes, also great value!

Rude member of staff with blonde hair, I had my breakfast plated but the hash browns were empty, I asked member of staff if she could replenish, she could see I had my hot items on my plate however she did not inform kitchen staff for around 5 minutes, hash browns were eventually put on the hot plate around 15 minutes later, I had already eaten my breakfast. I went to get a hash brown, it was so dry I couldn’t eat it!

It’s a good enough location with easy access to train and pubs; however, the “executive” room is a queen size bed for two people and the room is standard for the location. The bar in the hotel is very cute and has a good view if you make reservations. My experience was clouded by the fact that the water pressure in the shower just sucks and the a/c in the room did not work. My friend and myself were not able to get good rest and did not feel like even notifying the staff when we found out because we were already showered and ready for bed by the time we realized it did not work. The rooms also do not have phones to contact front desk, so you are forced to head all the way down to the lobby, and windows do not open. Our pillow cases had stains. It’s also important to note that prior to us heading to our room that evening we asked for a few extra towels and the staff asked so many questions to just hand us a pair of towels.
Next day, when we notified them about the a/c staff took zero accountability. I won’t be staying here again.

Ok I really did like the hotel except for one thing and honestly it’s a big thing for me. The rooms are dark they have that ambient light of desk lamps and little low power bulbs. I hate it I cannot put my make up on yes there’s a mirror at the sink with a light but when the rest of the room is dark big deal it’s just not enough, like imagine going on a night out and having that. If you lose something you’re like where is it I will need to get my phone torch out. Can you not get a big light for the room so I can see very clearly all my belongings. I know some hotels like like but it’s annoying. I need to see please please stick a big light in there and it would be perfect. You can switch off a light what can you do if there is no light. It’s like a cave.

What a delightful hotel!! From the check-in to everything else about this hotel, I cannot rave enough about it. The lobby is casual and the staff were efficient and friendly. The staff in the restaurant were also very super friendly and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel and chain to anyone, even after only one stay. Will look into staying at this chain in future travels. One of the best hotels that I have stayed at!!
