Great location for a visit to the theatre. Check-in was extremely friendly and welcoming. Stairwell a little tired but I’m sure I wouldn’t have noticed that had I used the lift! I’d stay here again as it was a great price compared to similar hotels.

You get what you pay for. Sadly heating didn’t work the whole day and it was freezing. Tv jumped the full time. Food was the best part of it as the lady was very nice that served us. Staff seemed very much disinterested and non engaging. My fiancée said hello the the young man on at night and was ignored- we thought he didn’t hear us so repeated a hello and still no reply. Just waste of £60 really. Could have stayed at time and had a heating system that worked as well as a working television!

We stayed at Point A Hotel Glasgow for an overnight visit and it was an excellent choice for a short, central stay. Check-in was quick and straightforward, with friendly staff who immediately made us feel welcome.

The hotel has a modern, clean feel throughout and feels very well organised despite being busy.
The room was compact but cleverly designed, making great use of the space. The bed was extremely comfortable, and there were plenty of charging points exactly where you need them, a big plus.

The TV was a decent size and easy to use. One small quirk was that the lighting system seemed to change colour or flash slightly at times, which was a bit odd, but not a deal-breaker.

Location-wise, it’s spot on. The hotel is just minutes from Buchanan Street Bus Station and right in the city centre, making it ideal if you’re arriving by bus, heading to the theatre, shopping, or out for food and drinks.

There are loads of restaurants, cafés and pubs nearby, so you’re spoilt for choice without needing to travel far.
We didn’t have breakfast, but it’s worth noting that breakfast is free if you book directly with the hotel rather than using third-party websites, definitely something to consider. There’s also a very handy ironing facility available if you’d rather freshen up clothes than go for a continental breakfast, which is a thoughtful touch.

One of the standout features was the option for a late checkout. Instead of the standard 11am, you can stay in your room until 3

We had an accessible room, which wasn't required but that's not a problem. The chair in the shower needs a good scrub, get a brush on that, it had dirt underneath. Despite heating being turned off -or so I thought - it was hot and cold all night. Bed was comfy though and the hotel is very central. Would we stay here again? No.

Room was cold due to the AC unit not working and on/ off button missing on AC unit.
Contacted reception who brought an electric panel heater to room promptly.
The safe had a Broken fascia panel which meant electric wires were on show.
Bedside shelf above said safe had delamination of surface.
Net curtains were very dirty where they touch the window sill.
Towels were not changed the next day so were still wet due to room being unheated when panel heater going off when card pulled from wall whilst not in room.
Floor laminate had signs of previous water damage as was cracked and very uneven.
We had booked an early breakfast as were leaving befor service time and was offered a take away bag which was a nice gesture, but for two the bag consisted of two bread rolls, one croissant, two items of fruit. It would have been nice to have received butter or margarine, jam or other spread and maybe a bottle of water or two!
Staff were nice and friendly so no complaints there.
Outside of hotel was quite bleak due to the rest of the large building being derelict.
Overall not a place I would rush to revisit although very close to theatre etc

Excellent location. Very close to the Buchanan bus station, Glasgow Central train station and the main “downtown” area. Receptionist on duty was lovely. We arrived well before check in and she stored our large luggage for us until we could check in.
Room was very small, we expected this, but was very comfortable and clean.
We did not have the breakfast at this hotel as we had an early train and opted for takeaway options nearer the train station.
Price was a little high for the room, however some of this is due to currency exchange rates. Overall, would highly recommend and stay here again.

Arrived early morning from the airport to leave our bags to check in later. The receptionist was friendly and advised as our room was ready she was happy to just check us in. I stayed 23/12/25 - 29/12/25. The hotel as a whole was excellent.

Although there are no hot drink facilities in the room, the reception staff are there to assist 24/7! They supplied hot drinks whenever required, and were giving out biscuits and shortbread over Christmas too!

I had breakfast on Christmas Day, but ate out on the other mornings. It was ample for a Continental breakfast.

The only thing I would like to see improved in the room would be to have a comfy chair or two. There was a kind of fishing chair, and a hard stool with a back which was kept fixed to the wall. Neither of these chairs were comfy for very long. I ‘borrowed’ a chair from the breakfast/dining room, which was fine and very comfy for watching tv during the evenings.

The bedding and towels were changed every three days. The towels were huge and very soft.

At first, I was given a room that had many marks on the walls including some kind of ''dried liquid spill'' that wouldn't come off. I went back to the receptionnist and asked for another room. I mentionned the stain and he replied ''It's been there for months and we can't clean it''! So, he gave me another room that was smaller but in better shape and with virtually no marks on the wall but one tile in the bathroom was broken. Room clean, though. Heating a bit wonky. Pleasant staff. Continental breakfast okay. On my first morning there, it's like the cutlery and dishes had not been cleaned properly: they were kind of sticky. Well-located. Great prices, but hotel needs son TLC. Would I stay there again? I don't know. It's not a total dump (I felt safe as a solo woman traveller), but don't expect a 5-star hotel for the price.

(Need a hand towel in there as well) Breakfast very very good choices even though no hot cooked breakfast buffet. Room clean but would not choose a room with no window again (personal choice)also had very limited space for a double room. Innovative use of space for such a small room though. Overall good ...be pleased to stay again in another choice of room.
