Good receptionists, staff were absolutely fine and polite but room was severely lacking, was like a shoebox with no chair, desk, lamp, etc. and the bathroom was disappointingly a tiny wet room.
Hotel was also located in quite a dodgy, run down area so beware if you’re a woman travelling alone.

I booked a double room but instead I got a small box room with a double room in it. What was most frustrating was constantly straining my eyes as the room lighting was so dim and poor I could barely see anything. The bathroom was extremely small and uncomfortable. The shower was almost right in front of the toilet with no walking space in between. I could not cover the shower are with the shower curtain because the shower rail had multiple screws which prevented the curtain from closing. Therefore all water from the shower sprayed all over the toilet and all my toiletries.
This room was the worse value for money and a complete rip off.

The smallest hotel room I ever saw in my life. Literally a bed with maybe 1m sq of room, and a tiny aeroplane style bathroom. No furniture or storage area. But on the plus side it was cheap and very near to city centre. The room was also clean.

Staff on reception were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel is clean. The room itself was very very small, having booked a twin room for two adults, there really was insufficient space to move and less than one foot between the beds and walls. The beds were comfy although there was one thin pillow provided. The toilet/shower combo was also odd with there being little to no room and it almosr felt like youwere standing in the shower whilst using the facilities. The room itself was clean and tidy but there was no real ventilation, ie the window couldnt be opened to let some air in. Yhe noise coming from other rooms could clearly be heard, especially when other rooms were showering - it sounded as if someone was using our showe it was that loud. With checkout being at 10am I'm not sure why we had cleaning staff repeatedly knocking on our door at 9.30am when we still had 30 mins left - it made us feel rushed and unwelcome. I know people will say \"you get what you pay for\" but having paid just short of £60 for one night i think its far from value for money.

I will never stay in an EasyHotel again.
They follow the new build model of hotels, maximize space to make the most amount of rooms possible.
This room is too small and the bathroom is comically too small.
I could not open up my suitcase inside my room unless it was on my bed which I really did not want to do because my suitcase was gross from traveling.
They do not clean your rooms daily and your bathroom is always wet.
The hotel front desk staff was very professional, nice, and helpful.
This hotel is not even near a lot of public transport from the train station.
I would go out at night and get drinks at the hotel next door and honestly wish I just stayed there.

The shape and size of the room allocated meant it was virtually impossible to fully open my suitcase except con the bed. There were two sockets on the wall presumably for charging items but they were above bed height and again could only be used if standing items on the bed. Most people charge their phones at night!

Overnight stay

Just an overnight stay after a late flight into Glasgow airport. Had expected it to be basic and it was. Very clean. the double room was 10x8 and couldn’t get air con to work. Non opening window. Was claustrophobic. Excellent value for money however and it did the job. Car park just across the road so everything was super easy.

The property was so filthy that i couldn’t stay and have requested a full refund. staff were rude when i tried to ask for assistance on the smell, noises and stains in my room and they replied with snarky and rude comments. it was the worst hotel experience i have ever had and caused me to do a 5.5 hour drive home on top of the 5.5 hours drive there because i couldn’t stay on the hotel

The hotel is in a great location for the Conservatoire and easy access to the City Centre. Bed was very comfortable too. Bathroom was very compact but perfectly usable, shower was hot.

Appreciate that it is a budget hotel but tea making facilities would have been appreciated, also another pillow would have been good and a small table to put things on would have been useful.

Listed as dog friendly but will add £10 per dog per night and £15 cleajing fee (ie 2 dogs 1 night will cost an aditionsl £45) and not alowed to be left unatended .

Cramp rooms

I booked a room with no window, and cancelling would incur a booking fee since I made the reservation through hotels.com. The room was the same size as the double bed, featuring a cramped cubicle shower and toilet, and cost £155. By the end of our first day, the shower drain emitted a foul sewage smell, prompting a necessary room change to a twin room the following day. This new room was an improvement with windows, but it lacked tea and coffee facilities. Instead of having refreshments readily available in rooms, if wanted, we had to purchase them from the machines at reception. While the staff helped move us, they could benefit from a more polished appearance.

I'm not one of those who expect a 4 star hotel for an outlay of pennies but surely there must be reasonable threshold of minimum standards. 3 nights and my room wasn't cleaned once. The contents of my bin was higher than a Bob Marley fan. Initially there was no electricity in my room. A member of staff came and said the power unit looked unsafe. He took my spare key and went to consult with \"someone\". Like Captain Oats in Robert Scott's expedition to the South Pole, he never returned. It's location is decent and there's a cracking independent cafe around the corner.
