Room was clean but the dampness had broken some panels in the bathroom.
Staff was really friendly. I was surprised that I was instructed not to eat at the hotel restaurant but told it would be better to go out and look for food elsewhere.
Breakfast was okay. I would have wanted to see fried or boiled eggs. Instead there was scrambled. But that just goes to personal preference.

Vast majority of staff were extremely friendly, efficient and courteous. Rooms were clean and well maintained, serviced promptly and cleaning staff were also pleasant and helpful. Check-in and out were seamless. Bar staff were first class.
The one big negative was Saturday morning breakfast. We came down with an hour remaining. So many food items, crockery and cutlery items were missing and the team were making no effort to top up crucial missing items which included bowls, spoons, bread, milk etc. We had to ask for 11 different things, all of which were readily available in the kitchen. One team member seemed miffed to be asked to top up the sausage and tomato, although the other staff members did bring all the things we had asked for. The team were very slow to clear tables and seemed to be busy talking in the kitchen.
The following two days were completely different with the team proactively looking for work and the team leader keeping them on their toes, which is why I gave the excellent rating overall. However, the Saturday team let their colleagues down extremely badly.

Lost marks as the room could be better sound proofed. Heard traffic quite loud, guests in the corridor and on one occasion either tv or conversation from room 401.
Also charged a higher price for the same drink on two seperate evenings. It was only about a pound,but was strange. I did raise this with bar staff when i was charged over but they didnt seem bothered and just said that was the price.
Apart from that, the room was clean ( cleaning team did a great job)and comfortable and in a great location. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful and made me feel welcomed.

This is our 3rd visit here as we really like it , but we didn’t like our room this time, because the fan was making a noise all night, we tried to put the heating on , but it wasn’t warm enough it was just blowing out cold air which made us uncomfortable with not much sleep, tossing and turning, as i said this is a favourite hotel we were in 203 which is right at the end of the hotel

Perfect stop over for a weekend break. Super close to city and super close to bus stop which serves the airport. Only niggle was size of room but it didn’t matter as only used for sleeping and was still functional. However, Bathroom was not small and shower was fab which was great.

Good location, about 5 mins walk from Glasgow Central station. Rooms clean. Service good. Breakfast decent enough. Perfect location for several car hire firms which are literally over the road. Some noise from the road outside came into the room despite the double glazing. There isn't a desk so if you need to do a lot of laptop work it's a bit limited.

Despite much higher prices now no breakfast already included seems a bit stingy. But I still like the Styles hotels in Glasgow!

Great reasonably priced hotel near the city centre.

Staff incredibly helpful, even when they’ve just had to navigate a coach load of international tourists ahead of me. They were very apologetic regarding my wait to be seen at check-in, but I fully appreciate things like that are out of their control and pure luck on when you arrive. They were able to accommodate my request for a lower floor so I could avoid the mayhem of the coach tour using the lifts.

The room was spotless and had the expected amenities.

Late night entry seamless with the card read by the door allowing reentry after they have secured the building.

Reception staff friendly and efficient and liked the free access to cold filtered water in the Reception area to save asking at the bar. Lifts a bit fiddly as seem to need to swipe card if stopping at multiple floors but security good that you do need a card to access lifts and the Reception after 10pm. Comfy bed but room was a bit cold and thermostat doesnt allow you to change temperature there wasn't any extra blankets to use and didn't want to go down to Reception at 2am but it is winter. Bar area and coffee shop bit nice. Otherwise a great stay and would stay again.

The hotel is less than a five minute walk from the train station and about fifteen minutes from the bus station. It’s modern, clean and quiet. Breakfasts were good and filling, but a little monotonous.

My room was on the first floor and not very sound proof. Noise from the bar/cafe area music system woke me up. I mentioned it to the staff.
I would stay here again, but would request a room on a higher floor.

It’s been over a year since our stay here and we still rave about it. Staff was so kind, management even called the airport and fought them on our behalf when they lost our luggage! Complimentary breakfast each morning was lovely and fresh, and rooms had fun decor and were very clean. The hotel is right in front of a bus transfer station and walking distance to George street and the train station. Each day my husband and I had a lovely hotel breakfast then ventured out into the city to explore. I had booked this hotel in a panic at the last minute and we were expecting the worst considering the price but honestly this would be my first pick during our next visit. Such a lovely experience for such a low price.

The room was quiet and comfortable but whoever designed the decor was a sadist. Hard to read fonts and red lettering and confusing \"retro\" logos everywhere. Music in the breakfast room far too loud for 7am and on member of staff at breakfast in particular super noisy, shouting and laughing... Not particularly restful.

Clean comfy room, could do with some drawers for undies socks etc. staff welcoming and friendly. Good location for where we were going to visit. Staff were struggling to keep breakfast items filled and tables cleared, coffee was not nice from the machines. On Sunday evening the bar had run out of some drinks we wanted to order.It was better on the Monday when the hotel was a bit quieter.

Room was clean and had everything you needed. Bed wasn't the most comfortable as the mattress was quite firm but that's maybe personal preference. Staff were very friendly and I was able to decline housekeeping which I wasn't aware was an option (could maybe inform guests of this rather than just the door hanger?) and was pleasantly surprised to find a note under the door to say because of doing so I could get a free drink downstairs which was very appreciated! Only a short walk along to Central Station and the city centre, there's a Tesco just five minutes away, and good location for the Hydro.

Toilettenspülung funktioniert nicht richtig, Türrahmen aufgequollen, wg. undichter Duschabtrennung. Sehr unangenehmer Geruch der Handtücher.

Great hotel!

The Ibis Styles Central Glasgow is modern and clean, with attentive staff. It has a 24 hour bar and a restaurant.
The Hotel is a short walk (uphill) from Glasgow Central railway station. There are bars , restaurants and cafes on the same road as the hotel and also a short walk away, in the town centre.
The Ibis Styles is in what looks like a busines area, so it's quiet when you want to sleep. Ideal!

Everything you’d expect for a 3 star hotel. Nothing extra or over the top, the water in the shower seemed to cycle between a second of hot and cold every few minutes, and the bed wasn’t very soft - but can’t beat the location for access to Central Station and it had everything you need for an affordable and convenient stay in Glasgow. Staff were friendly and good spread for breakfast.
