The room appeared clean, although some items had been left behind by previous guests, indicating that the housekeeping was not up to standard, especially as they were in a very obvious place. The air conditioning didn’t work, so the room was unbelievably warm. The bathroom also had underfloor heating that couldn’t be switched off during a heatwave, which made for a very unpleasant night’s sleep.
We were moved to a new room the following day, and I can’t fault the reception staff, all of whom were extremely helpful and friendly, especially the gentleman who checked us in on the first day. I don’t mind paying extra due to dynamic pricing, but I do expect a comfortable stay. Unfortunately, that was not the case.

Super bel expérience. Cet hôtel est vraiment bien situé et très central. Le personnel est vraiment accueillant et répond à tous vos besoins. Pour ma part j'étais dans un studio simple avec mini cuisinette et c'était vraiment pratique pour moi. Je le recommande fortement et sincèrement.

This was my first stop on a 10 day trip, and unfortunately my luggage was lost on the way. The receptionist was very helpful with giving me some ideas of what food places were open and where to get certain clothing/hygiene products. As soon as my luggage got there (2 days later) they notified me right away. All of the amenities were very clean and well kept overall!

Nice hotel with plenty of amenities nearby. I had an early flight so was up around 4am, but the shower had no hot water. I mentioned this to the staff on the way out, apparently hot water can be \"reset\" upon request. I have not encountered this situation at any other hotel, ever. Even one star hotels have hot water 24x7!

Stayed here several nights in advance of a trip to the isles. The property and room were clean, modern and well maintained. Having a small fridge, microwave, dishes and utensils was a lifesaver to save time and money. It was also an easy walk from the airport bus. My only caveat would be the need to be aware of your surroundings as I did have one unpleasant interaction with someone in the street. But that’s just par for the course in a city.

Room was nice and clean. Property seemed well maintained. Gym was a bit small could’ve used a few mats but worked just fine. Only negative was the laundry facilities………only one washer and dryer for all guests, and seems the hotel was using it too, so even more limited. (They were washing the pet cloths). Even with that we’d stay there again! Great staff and space!

This was a new to us location. The rooms were spacious, having a small kitchen was an unexpected treat. Very nice inside and out. Very close to Queen Street station and walkable to all of city center. Would definitely stay again!

My only complaint was I booked this hotel due it saying laundry facilities but there was only one washing machine and one dryer and of course they were always already in use.

Lovely hotel but you couldn’t swing a cat in our room so I felt the photos were misleading regarding size including the kitchenette. I stayed at an Adina in Berlin which was a very different experience where the room and kitchenette was much much bigger. Issues with the shower, coffee maker and lack of smart tv ( for such a high tech hotel!) altogether made a disappointing stay albeit for one night, which I realise isn’t the usual review. On a positive note, the bed was comfy and thank goodness the air conditioning works with having no open windows.

Had a very short stay as arrived very late at night. Check in and out was great particularly with arriving late and sleeping in. Grateful to not be over charged for over staying. Good location for central station and central Glasgow. Room was very nice. Rather a firm bed which might not suit everyone.

If you are looking for accessible accommodations, this isn’t it. We booked two separate stays with a few days between for a side trip. The first stay was in a typical room. One in our party has intermittent balance issues and the bath/shower was extremely difficult to use due to its design. We asked for an accessible room for the second stay. The accessible room was not on an accessible route (two heavy, non-automatic doors to open) and the room layout is unlikely to accommodate a wheelchair. Although the huge bathroom was accessible, the shower was completely open, allowing the entire bathroom floor to get water on it and making the wet tiles a slip hazard. To top it off, we needed to use the lobby’s wheelchair lift one evening to descend the half story from street level to the reception area. The lift door would not open, leaving us stuck while waiting for assistance. The staff were extremely helpful and apologetic, but it took quite some time to get us out.

I love the decor of my studio. It felt very cosy and stylist. It has fridge, coffee maker, microwave. So we could buy stuff for breakfast and was the only fridge we saw on our trip around Scotland. Such a lifesaver!

Little things like body lotion helps. The bed was very comfortable and big enough to share witg my friend.

The reception is located down in the basement and i do feel for them that they are standing behind pedestals. I didnt get the chance to try the food or coffee there.

The hotel is a walk away from the centre and close to restaurants, shops, the bus to Edinburgh airport.

It was a joy to stay there. Highly recommended.

Lovely overnight stay at The Wellington whilst attending a retirement party in an establishment on nearby Bothwell Street..We were allocated a lovely room on the 3rd floor. Room was very modern and welcoming with everything you would expect and require in a hotel of this standard. Didn't spend a great deal of time actually in the room due to party but have to say the bed was exceptionally comfortable and we both had a great nights sleep. Shower in the morning was great and also the tea/coffee making facilities afterwards.
The hotel was really quiet in the respect of noise which obviously helped with the great nights sleep we had. All in all we were delighted with our stay and wouldn't hesitate to use The Wellington Hotel again when we have occasion to stay overnight in Glasgow. Didn't really have much conversation with reception other than checking in and out but doing this was so smooth with both receptionists being very polite and helpful.

Hotel and room were excellent but there was only one member of staff when I checked in and had to wait over 10 mins to check in because of a queue. The person on reception was very efficient and apologetic though. Also, I stayed 2 nights but my room wasn’t ‘refreshed’ at all during my stay, my coffee cup from day 1 wasn’t cleaned or taken away. Otherwise a nice hotel.

Lovely hotel. Great idea for a hotel room - different! Room included a small kitchen unit with a sink, fridge, microwave plus tea & coffee facilities. Shame the fridge wasn’t that cool but a lot of fridges in hotel rooms are not that cool. Nice size single bed. Very comfortable. Also, good size bathroom with fantastic shower. Nice touch to have a clothes steamer rather than an iron. Only issue was the air conditioning. If it was working, I couldn’t tell. The room was too warm for me and despite turning the temperature down to 16 degrees from 21, I didn’t feel any difference.

The staff was outstanding, kind, courteous knowledgeable, very helpful. Went out of their way to help me out several times. Great recommendations for shopping and places to go and places to eat. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at and it was because of the staff having laundry, there was a huge plus. Since the place, I am traveling to does not have laundry for a week. I look forward to my next stay there.

Lovely hotel. Friendly staff. Comfy bed. Great shower. Only downside was the room wasn’t very dark at night. There was a light outside the window, which faced a quad in the middle of the hotel. There was a microwave, kettle, fridge and coffee machine in the room, which we didn’t need but was great to have. Would 100% stay again.
