A small, not-fancy hotel with a personable pub perfect for overnight in Glasgow. Excellent location in formidable Merchant's City - close to trains and transport, shopping an restos. Pub had small but adequate variety of draughts but the kitchen put out a repast that was surprisingly fresh and tasty. Staff were very courteous. A nice change from the all too available modern sterile same-decor chain hotel.

The only grumble I can say about the place was the toilet seat wasn't fastened to the toilet itself and the sliding sash windows wouldn't close completely which let the slightest draft through but apart from that the place was good and the staff were amazing

Booked online, we were taken aback initially be Saturday night drinkers - but the room was comfortable and not poky, and all was quiet by the time we returned from the theatre. The continental breakfast was excellent, as was the service. The parking was not free, but 70% of normal overnight cost, so good - though NCP car park itself was very badly signed. Next time we’ll come by train!

Had an amazing stay, staff couldn't have been more helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Room was a good size, very roomy, although it could do with some extra sockets as it was a struggle to use a hairdryer and straighteners, all mirrors were in the bathroom so that made it more difficult. Shower needs fixed as it wouldn't stay on the wall so a real struggle to wash hair.

This very small place is licated at the top of cozy little pub in the very center of Glasgow. It is a heavy stone throw from other pubs, clubs and restaurants. It is at the dead center of the lively city night life. It is convinient but also could be a bit noisy during morning.The rooms are basic but sufficient. All the pub personnel who also serve the rooms is friendly, helpful, and just pleasant beyond reason. This service make the breakfast a super nice experience.

Booked as we were going to see Ed Sheeran at Hamden Park. Only a short train ride from the stadium. Had tea at the Rab Ha. A good menu and food excellent. Continental breakfast really great too. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Would recommend.

At first wasn't sure where to go to check in, but went to the bar which was a lovely area and very busy which was nice to see.

But other than that, clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable.
I would have prehaps liked to have seen hot breakfast options, paying as much as I did I was disappointed there was no hot breakfast option as it could be working into the budget, even if it's just a bacon sandwich.

Booked a deluxe double room and it was anything but deluxe. Bed sagged in middle and bathroom needed a complete overhaul. Towels were lovely n fluffy and bed was nice and clean though. Also says full breakfast on site but is poor continental. Wouldn't go back even though location was good.

Rab Ha's is \"rough and ready\" - it's an old building and first appearances (entrance and stairs) don't inspire confidence but don't let this put you off! It is an ideal location, the staff are more than welcoming, the food is good and reasonably priced, and the atmosphere is friendly with many locals choosing to eat there in the evening. The room we were in was fairly basic but it was clean and comfortable with plenty of tea and coffee.

We had a great two night stay as we attended a wedding at The Arta. It was great for location. Our room was compact but clean and comfortable. The staff could not of been more helpful from giving us directions to getting us more coat hangers. We did not have any issues with noise from the bar.. The only thing that affected our sleep was the bottle collectors early hours of the Monday morning. The breakfast we thought when booking was a full cooked breakfast but turned out to be continental... first morning, great with fruit, toast and cereals but the second morning there was no fruit. we did say that maybe some yoghurt would of been nice but apart from that it was great value for money. we had a comfortable stay and if we was in the area again would try to book here.

Our stay was great, very friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Location is fantastic, so convenient for main city centre. Our room was very small but I know and seen the bigger rooms and would recommend to choose one of them over our room but none the less it was clean and comfortable. Good overall despite the noise at night. This was a Monday so I think a weekend stay might be a bit if an ordeal if you are a light sleeper since it is single glazing only. The room itself was small and showing some wear and tear but well equipped. The shower cubicle was rather mouldy.

Even tho the staff were very pleasant, I feel that this place was not represented correctly on the internet. All so, our room was supposed to have included a continental breakfast, on returning home, we found that we were charged for out breakfasts, so was very unhappy about that.

The room and en-suite were clean. Good shower. Comfy bed, although only a double. Staff were relatively friendly on arrival, not so much at breakfast the next morning. Free Wifi as advertised was negligible. Breakfast also was not 'Full Breakfast' as advertised but a dire attempt at continental, very limited cereals, juice, milk, fruit, bread, bagel, jam, butter. No porridge, hams, cheese and yoghurts. Wifi in bar was also poor. You are close to George Square. You are paying for location.

We arrived in the morning to find the proprietor and others smoking in the doorway. She couldn't store our bags. The place looked very rundown, and along with the smoking in the doorway it looked very seedy. We went off then and I read the latest reviews which said the place was terrible and very noisy. In the end we went and stayed in a different hotel.

Its in an area called Merchants City. Beautiful old buildings, nice bars and restaurants and it must be near theatres (lots of theatre offers at these restaurants).
The room itself was quite cool, small but perfectly formed. Its 5 guest rooms above a bar. The renovation upstairs looks rushed/cheap but not really much to complain about. Breakfast is continental but not bad.

It was great, just a pity we sat in the bar all afternoon and went to bed early. I expected a lot more noise from the bar below but it wasn't bad even for a Saturday night. Just a little confused on check out didn't know were to leave key with nobody there early in the morning when we left.

Very nice hotel in a brilliant location. Staff were very helpful even allowing me to drop my bag before check in time. Food was excellent and the atmosphere in the bar was busy but chilled. Room was a touch on the warm side for me but that is only for me as I like rooms to be on the cool side. Room size was good, bathroom was big. Overall a very pleasant stay in the heart of the city. The owners were very accommodating by making us breakfast very early for the following day. However, I wouldn't really call it a hotel. It was more of a B&B and though very clean, it smelled of smoke and it was freezing. There were also things like cracked tiles in the bathroom. Fine if you're just passing through but I wouldn't say it was a luxury stay!

Fantastic find. Stayed for one night. Room compact, but still spacious if that makes sense...Room was comfortable and shower/products were amazing. Staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. No cooked breakfast, but ample to eat. Hotel was well positioned for shops/nightlife. 10/15 mins walk from bus/train station. We visited O2 Academy and walked to hotel afterwards. Would highly recommend.

Staff were really nice and accommodating, but...
Room was cramped, the radiator sang constantly, a draft whistled under the closed window and blind onto my head in bed and there was no warm water from the sink.

The best part was the staff. Karen was unbelievable helpful, went out of her way to help us. Room was very small with not much room for our three cases. Unfortunately we had a few drunks go pass in the early hours of the morning that kept us awake. Breakfast was good as far as a continental goes, no hot breakfast was available.
