The room was filthy!! For $169 I thought it would be decent. We are not picky and it was only one night but it was almost unbearable. We did not even take a shower because there was so much hair in the tub. When we pulled in we thought it was an abandoned building. There was a brown \"fudgy\" stain on the lamp so we didn't want to even touch it to turn it on. There was literally broken glass on the floor and black mold around the entire ceiling. I will try to post the pics. The faucet in the bathroom sprayed out and got you completely wet when washing your hands, which sucked to have wet clothes in the middle of the night:( There was no coffee and the only vending machine to get a drink from did not work. The TV did not work either. I've never written a review before but I have never encountered this level of filth either. BAD!

They had no record of my reservation or name, maybe because check-in opened at 11 and we didn’t arrive til about 930. Seems like they don’t have a conputer system. Luckily I had the reservation so I could prove we paid.

About the only thing I liked was the night clerk, Roger. He had a sense of humor. Everything else about the place sucked, though. Even the Uber driver who picked us up wondered why we were there, he said nobody goes there. The place was seedy and in disrepair and distant. I doubt I'll ever want to stay in Bayonne again in the future.

The Tvs did not work, neither did the toilet or the air conditioning unit. I did not even shower because the shower was so dirty it would have been more unsanitary than not showering at all. It looked like the room was not even cleaned. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The box mattress had dried blood stains on them. Staff said they didn't have wash clothes and the 2 of us had to share 3 face towels for 2 days. There was loud music outside, dogs barking, children crying, people arguing and we paid $358 for 2 nights! Expedia ought to be ashamed and refund our money. This is an old-school urban motel. Rooms were clean, I saw cleaning staff at work morning and night. Quiet at night. Smells like cigarettes, but nobody said anything about non-smoking rooms. They have a cigarette vending machine in the office, if you need one. Not sparking new, but the room was freshly painted and had art and a big CRT TV. For the price, it was fine.

Worst Motel By Far!
We booked a non-smoking room, and we smelled weed from people smoking it on-site. They played the music loud throughout our stay, and there were drug dealers all over the place. My room stunk like heck. I had to buy bed sheets for the motel room because I did not trust that their sheets were clean. It was disappointing to say the least. I will never stay there again.

The room smelled musty, there were cigarette hole burns in the comforter and the police were outside at 1 AM (lights police searching in the bushes), neighborhood was questionable so we locked the door until the next day of departure, plus they rent the rooms by the hour. Taxi drivers both said “go somewhere else for safety reasons “. We didn’t have problems personally and the front counter staff were helpful and polite.

The filthiest, most unsanitary place, towels already used, floors uncleaned for a long time, roach motel traps on the room. A small bucket with water under a 1950's TV held with electric tape on the side, and ON/OFF bottom had a hole that needed a key to push inside to turn it off and on. Health Authorities should seriously check this place. Rm. 128. My flight got in too late to get a transfer the same night. We had been on plains for 21 hours and were totally exhausted to look elsewhere. We slept with our clothes on totally disgusted.

It wasn't the room that was ordered it was a single bed than she said it was for 1 day I said it was for 2 days so she said well I'll just charge the 2 day rate so my daughter came in with me cause I'm handicapped she gave me half of the money we counted it was good than my daughter left so the lady was like 40 more but I know we counted 260.00 or whatever it cost I don't remember I gave it to her my daughter had left I had never looked at the tub it was filthy they had to come clean it while I was in there I had to take a pic and show them it was dirty they attitude was nasty like I'm walking with a walker I never got charged for a remote there and I did but I got it back apond leaving thank you

By far one of the most affordable hotels in the area. The hotel is dated in every way a throwback from the 70's era,the lights flickered and would not stay on. Bathroom window was open when we checked in so we had additional flying occupant's in our room. There were no coffee pot, microwave oven or refrigerator on premise.

Its close to everything free parking was great but for the type of motel this is the rooms should have been cheaper because everything was so old. Its good if you are on a budget and just there for a short time and using the room to sleep then head out to tour immediately. Its not a place where you can do anything else.

People were up all night 3:30 in the morning someone knocked on every door. Doors slamming people in there rooms talking and laughing very loud. Cleaning not to good found a pair of women’s panties in chest in the bedroom, also some one left a cigar on the bed. No rest it’s 5:15 we have been up since 3:30.

Chose the property for proximity to Liberty Island. The staff was amazing, but the property is bad shape, from the parking lot to the rooms. Not a two star hotel, either - it's a one star with very friendly and helpful staff. There are no activities, and nothing is close. You must have a vehicle - not sure if ride services will pick up. There are much better hotels for a little more money closer to Newark International with amenities - suggest you review those first.

We got there and the room that i had boomed wasn’t was i was given. Bathroom had not been cleaned. Used soap was still in the shower and on top of the sliding glass door to the shower. Someones pee was still in the floor along with pubic hairs. There are people actually living there permanently and fought all night. While all the smells of marijuana and cigarettes took over the room through the walls. All in all it was the worst place i have ever stayed at and i do NOT recommend. The painted it very different online. Its disgusting! And the only reason we had to deal was because it was fourth of July weekend and everything else was completely occupied.

There were blood stains all over the bed sheets... both beds. The pillows were dirty. The carpet havent been cleaned in days! There were stains of suspicious liquid on top of the tables. The toilet kept flushing itself all the time, like literally worst experience ever. Stay away from this place.
