No lie we checked in and checked out. The room was for lack a better term dingy, staff is helpful but be forewarned. This is absolute trash can fire of a hotel. Immediately after checking in we decided not to stay and immediately checked out. I Hope this helps ppl deciding where to stay and if you would like a comparable stay, just stay at the train station which is cleaner

Room was basic and clean, though the AC was difficult to adjust — it was either too strong or switch off on its own. The walls were paper‑thin, and I couldn’t sleep because the room next door was still partying at 2am.

Breakfast was simple but offered enough choice. Staff were polite but had limited English. The location is convenient, close to Bujeon Station Exit 1 and right next to the traditional market.

The biggest issue was the dynamic pricing. I was charged 12 times the standard rate during the BTS concert period because I booked when search activity was high. Only later did I discover they then slashed prices by 75% for the same nights. While this may be legal, it feels deeply unconscionable.

Breakfast was good, hotel is very well located for both subways and busses, loved the location , for the most part I was pleased with this hotel, I just wish they would remodel their showers to get rid of all the black mold. Cleaning could be better in hidden places , carpeting floors in bedrooms does not really help. Otherwise , everything else was good for the money.

Check in was okay. Air conditioning was not allowed to switch on as they claimed it is winter period but unless it is country side, it is okay to open window. Problem is that the room is facing exhuast pipe of opposite building and no fan to assist in air circulation. Finally staff called the so call boss to allow air condition on. But worst part is aircond failed on 3rd day. Hotel then changed room which is slightly better than the previous room.Check in lobby is like a store area, no feeling of a hotel lobby. Room wise, needs upgrading, breakfast is common and feels more like a factory canteen and nothing special. Only consolation is heated toilet seat and Bujeon subway is at doorstep.

nice, clean place to stay, albeit a little worn out.
Entry is near the corner of Starbucks.
I may have missed the instructions and went around the market side, thanks to kakao maps.
From Bujeon station take exit 1 (with a lift) as there is no pedestrian crossing from exit 2 or 4.
Also note, reception is on an upper floor.

This hotel is located centrally just next to underground shopping mall, Bujeon train station, and underground metro stations. The entrance to the underground mall and underground metro is right in front of the hotel - about 10 steps at the most! There are several bus stops nearby so travel by buses is also easy. Breakfast is included with a wide range of items to eat from. Excellent value for the price - a strong recommend.

Everything was nicer than I expected. The room was clean and cozy enough to spend 2 nights there. Accessibility to the subway station was nice. However, the internet speed was very underwhelming. It was too slow to watch a Youtube video. As a business hotel, the internet speed should be better than this.

We checked into a family room for three people at Ibis Ambassador Busan City Centre. The room is spacious but feels outdated, particularly the bathroom. It features a toilet bowl and a bathtub with a shower curtain, and water tends to spill onto the floor during showers, leaving it mostly wet. The hair dryer is old-fashioned, and the bathroom lighting is limited and poor. Additionally, the room provides only one very soft pillow per person, and the bath towels are old and stained. The room's Wi-Fi is unreliable and frequently drops out. Overall, I would not choose to stay here again and would not recommend it to friends or family.

Bathroom had mold on tile, especially in shower. The towel rod was broken. AC setting was difficult (I finally had to turn it off). The do not disturb sign malfunctioned (it worked later in the stay). Everything seemed old. For the price (US$150 for the last night), it was poor value.

This property is very accessible to public transit and overall good. My only complaint was the laundry services. There are machines on the 10th floor. I did laundry late at night and came down 5 minutes after the wash cycle to find someone had moved my laundry (even though I saw no one during my time doing laundry and returned quickly after my wash cycle). This is not the fault of the hotel, but frustrating nonetheless.

The area of the hotel is excellent.
The only compliant we have is that we were disappointed that we did not get any bottled water every day. There was a machine where you could get hot/cold water but when you tried the hot water button the water was cold.
The shower curtain was very dirty.

Nice hotel but staff a little careless

Well this is a gorgeous hotel but the staff are not very attentive. We had a room which had no air con and was very hot. The window didn't open. It was a fight to get to a room which we could breathe in. The staff also forgot to fetch the new room key after saying they'd be back in a moment. Also a free coffee and cocktail was in our confirmation but they stopped that offer and just gave one us one free wine or beer. However the hotel is lovely and the room very nice

A lovely surprise

Surprised that this room was better than expected. It must have been renovated recently. Super comfy bed. So handy for everything with line one metro near by to access all the sights, shopping within easy access and so close to restaurants. Would recommend staying here. Only thing was that breakfast is not an option as the restaurant is closed in the hotel but you can go to Starbucks which is next to the hotel.

The toilet is rather small but is the typical expectation from this type of hotel. Room is good and clean. There is only 1 washing machine and 1 dryer for the entire hotel so it might take awhile if there is a queue. Location very convenient, right outside the subway station.

So, I stayed here for 3 nights August 1st to 4th 2022. Check-in was on the 17th floor (or something like that). Staff was friendly enough. I had no other interaction with the front desk other than to ask if beeakfast was available.. well they didn't have anything open because of Covid.... maybe it's a Busan thing. In Seoul they had everything open. The room was clean except for the vent in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable enough but not really great. Nice central location and easy access to public transport like subway and bus. I liked this city.

The hotel is very convenience as it's just 2mins walk away from the Subway (Bujeon) or suburban railway, it's also a station away or 10mins walk away from Seomyeon. Price is reasonable, and the cleanness is up to standard. However, the room size is tiny and facilities are lacking at the hotel. I would recommend for those on business trip or come as a couple; families with kids should look for something bigger.

The hotel is well positioned in the city centre, and is on the Subway system. It is a short taxi ride or walk from lots of nice restaurants. It is also close to an interesting indoor & outdoor market.
The breakfast was very good, with lots of choice of western and Korean food, juices, fruit, coffee/tea, etc. Good views as on the top floor. Tables near the window were rather hot, so best avoided, but the blinds down helped a bit. Although some items tended to run out (like fried eggs), they were produced when told. Staff were very helpful.
Rooms were small-ish but well appointed, with a nice shower and comfortable bed. I had a room on the 9th floor and it was very quiet with a nice city view, with mountains in the background.
I would certainly stay here again when I return to Busan.

The receptionist was not flexible even though we arrived at 1.15pm, she refused to allow early checkin and insisted to wait till 2pm. Bathroom is pathetic with minimum shelving space to put your personal stuff. The blinds is classic as well, you will be greeted with glare from the morning sun.

The hotel is centrally located and close to the shopping area and restaurants. Checking in and out of the hotel was very smooth. The staff was very helpful.

The room was on the small side and lacked desk space. The same with the bathroom and counter space. But overall, the room was clean and comfortable. WiFi was fast when connected but the signals dropped pretty frequently around the hotel. Had to reconnect often.

The breakfast at the hotel was very good, with a good assortment of food to eat. The restaurant is on the top floor so it offered a nice view during the day and the evening.

I would definitely come back and stay here again.

Best hotel to get to know Busan daily life

The hotel is well managed, rooms are all in higher levels. As a result, even though it is located nearby a traditional market, but no noises and no bad smells. Everything is neat, clean and with good fashion. Though there are no fancy department stores around, you can easily locate some good restaurants and groceries with very reasonable prices. You can also enjoy sweet corns and fresh fruits at cheaper rate. It is also close to subway and is very convenient for sightseeing in other areas.

Room was a bit small, but we really enjoyed our 5-day stay. Hotel has a washer & dryer for 1000 won each. An underground shopping entrance / line 1 metro stop is right in front of hotel. Also, it is only a 5-minute walk to the train station. One metro stop to Seomyeon or walk underground to the Seomyeon metro stop which is the location of the Lotte Dept store. Many restaurants close by. Starbucks next to hotel.

Convenient location above the metro

The entrance to the Bujeon metro station is right outside the hotel, and there is a Starbucks on the Ground floor. It is a 10 min walk via the underground shopping center to the other metro station Seomyeon, which is at the intersection of 2 main metro lines. Lots of local restaurants around Seomyeon. There are no major sights near the hotel, so you will have to travel for about 30-45mins on average to many of the sights,but it is conveniently located if your key aim is to see as much of Busan over a short stay. If you want to be more central to the beach and eateries, Haeundae may be a better option.

Hotel Location is central but quite a walk from Seomeyeon station. Starbucks n convenience store is very near so that's great. Hotel room is run down. Many things in hotel room not working well. WC seat cover dropped off. Hair dryer old and not working well. Safe can't be used. Hotel rooms need a refurbishment. Bathing water is strong, hot and plenty but general run down feeling of hotel rooms.
