This was our second stay at La Chambre du Marais, and we enjoyed it every bit as much as our first visit back in 2019. The hotel is a true gem: a boutique property brimming with elegant design, thoughtful details, and an inviting atmosphere. Its location is exceptional—perfect for immersing yourself in Parisian culture while also providing easy access to the city’s major attractions.
The facilities are excellent, but what really sets this hotel apart is the service. Sophie and the team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for, creating an experience that felt both personal and memorable. Thanks to them, our stay was not only comfortable but truly special.
We left with warm memories and the certainty that we’ll be back again. A fantastic hotel in every sense.

The room was very small for the price. Nowhere to put luggage except on the floor or under the bed. The bathroom, however, was a delight - light and spacious. Would be fine with just one person and a small bag.
In emails beforehand we had been promised wonderful service, but we were disappointed. The hotel specifically asked if we had any special needs, and they knew that my husband was not particularly well and is awaiting a hip replacement. They said they would make a careful note of this. But when we arrived, and he wanted to go straight to the toilet, they took him upstairs, when we could see afterwards, there was a lift right there. He was feeling very unwell, and yet they seemed not to make any effort to get our room ready quickly for him. We had to wait a long time, partly away from the hotel and partly in the foyer. We wouldn’t have minded, because we were aware check-in time was 3 pm, but they had asked if we had any special-needs and they had said they would be very mindful of his health condition. And they didn’t seem to be at all.
On the plus side, we appreciated the beautiful decor and cleanliness of the hotel. And the situation in the Marais was exactly what we wanted. The beautiful windows of the room and the bathroom gave straight on to the buzz and atmosphere of Paris.

Situated in what would be considered “SoHo” in New York City.
The boutique hotel was beyond clean and the service was top notch.
Kevin and his team were always on hand to offer suggestions, service or pour a glass of champagne.
The hotel is boutique and smaller than some of the bigger hotels in Paris, but something I personally enjoy.
Marais has some great restaurants, bars, nightlife, galleries, shopping. For that reason the hotel is perfectly situated for those looking to see and do those things.
I would certainly stay again at La Chambre du Marais upon my return to Paris.

This trip began long before we arrived in Paris. The staff was incredibly responsive to my needs and answered every question with haste and sensitivity. This continued thru our 3 day stay. They took care of my medications that needed refrigeration and brought them to me when I needed them. They helped with restaurant reservations and when I needed to change my train trip departure time they were on it.

Rooms: The rooms, depending on where you are placed, are on the smaller side (cozy) but extremely well appointed and organized. The beds are very comfortable and the shower is excellent (great water pressure). The design has a luxurious old world Parisian feel while still feeling modern. The minibar has the perfect selection, and should you forget any toiletries they’re all available for you in the room.
Service: The service is excellent from the time you arrive to the time you leave. The hotel emailed me in advance to offer transportation, champagne and other amenities in-room upon arrival, and to offer any other needed accommodations. Champagne was waiting in the room as we arrived, as requested. The staff are very friendly, proficient in English and French (and perhaps other languages), and care for your every need with a smile and eagerness.
I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Paris and highly recommend it to any traveler looking for a boutique hotel with a 5-star feel.

This was an unexpected last minute trip for work. I wanted to stay in an neighborhood I knew well so I picked this hotel. It's small but very nicely decorated and the staff was extremely friendly. The only room available was there smallest one and it was SMALL. Good for a a solo traveler but it would have been impossible for 2 people. Even so the room was very cute and clean.

The area is popular with restaurants and bars but quieted down around 10pm. Great stay if you want to feel like you’re in the Paris nightlife but also safe to walk around.

Nice hotel but expensive for a 4 star hotel. Clean and modernised and in a good position. Only real criticism is the bedroom. Described as a suite but quite small to the extent that getting out of one side of the bed meant you had to bend down to avoid hitting your head. In the same way in the bathroom the towel heater was positioned high on the wall and stuck out. There was a bit of a feeling that we had been given the least attractive room.

This is a small boutique hotel as described. There is only one area for reception, bar and breakfast. It was decorated festively for Christmas. I arrived around 5:00pm for a one night stay. I had booked what was probably the smallest room in the hotel. I soon realized that the room was not heating at all. After an unsuccessful attempt to reset the heat by the friendly staff, They offered to move my things to the best room which fortunately was available. It was lovely and comfortable. Coffee brought to your room is complementary. The room was well appointed with a large TV, mini bar, toiletries, robes, hair dryer etc. the staff brought me conditioner and a plug to charge my phone.
There was some street noise as it is a popular area, but not enough to effect my stay. There is quite a difference in the very small room and the larger one but that is reflected in the price when booking.

The hotel has a fantastic location in the third and the staff was very pleasant. The price was absurd for the room and the lack of any amenities, even by Paris standards. My wife and I couldn’t even fit in the same elevator with our luggage, there wasn’t much of a lobby or place to eat breakfast comfortably if any other guests are eating. I would expect this hotel to be much less expensive than it was.

Few other things to note are: Bed was comfortable and shower head was very powerful and pleasure to use. I liked that you had to other the coffee (complementary) from the front desk instead of making it in the room. It would come within minutes on the silver tray and tastes better than any in-room hotel coffee machine I tried. Room we stayed in 2a small but this is typical for Europe. I wouldn't say it was unusually small. Overall, would definitely go back and would look forward to it.

The hotel is situated in Marais which is walking distance to Le Republique and surrounded by independent shops and cafes. Jean-luc and Lucia were very helpful and attentive. The hotel is decorated beautifully and the rooms we had were small but very adequate and the bathrooms were a good size, particularly for Paris. The beds were very comfortable with lovely bed linen.
