We enjoyed our stay at hotel risveglio during our trip to Tokyo. We stayed 7 nights. The check-in and check-out process was quite easy. Amenities are provided such as razors if you ask the staff plus there were toothbrushes in the room. Our highlight was the breakfast which was excellent. The location is close to a metro line as well.

Quiet location, clean room and housekeeping was accommodating when we only needed fresh towels and no room cleaning necessary. We were a bit surprised by the construction but we may have missed the notice when booking. It turned out to be fine as only one morning it was noisy and we didn’t leave the hotel yet.
Overall it was a good stay and staff was helpful.

Room was very clean but rather small. The heating kept blowing off hot air and unable to adjust the temperature. The staff said the setting was for winter and unable to change setting. We were asked to open windows to cool down our room. Not able to get much rest with windows opened due to the outside noise.
Location was great - near restaurants and train station.

Good place and in a good location, big downside for me is the noise from the hallway as there’s almost no sound proofing. Fair bit of dust around the room but for the price I paid I would definitely stay again.

Pictures online look great, unfortunately the room needs a definite facelift. The room felt really worn down. The walls need to be repainted. The mattress was lumpy, the towels were paper thin and old. I could tell it was nice when it was new, but doesn’t feel like the pictures make it seem.

Good location a few minutes walk from two stations which allowed us to get anywhere within the main tourist areas of Tokyo quickly. Room was reasonable in size, the arrangement of the shower/toilet was strange but worked with the space available. Staff were friendly and free water refill downstairs was helpful. A convenience store a few doors down was great and recycling point for bottles and cans outside was helpful. The overall area would be great for anyone who wanted to stay out late.

We recently had a 4 night stay with our 2 year old to Hotel Risveglio and it was great. The location was awesome and the breakfast was a nice inclusion and very handy. The only real complaint is that there is very little room to put ANY bags (I know Japanese rooms are small) but there was literally no where to put one suitcase let alone 3!

The room had enough space for a two week stay, you spend a lot of time out and about but it's not like you're crammed in your room upon return. The art on the wall is a nice unique touch. The staff are friendly and helpful, they even have a translation board at the front desk to assist if there's any language troubles.

We really enjoyed staying at Hotel Risveglio, the rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. It’s close to everything, best location ever. Staff are super accomodating and have a very cool translation device at the front desk. Breakfast each day was great and set us up for a busy day of sightseeing. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel staff were all very nice and spoke English. Breakfast was included (not sure if it always is) and was quite good. There were 6 options to choose from, some Japanese style, some western style. We had kids with us and both kids found options they liked.

There were a lot of restaurants in the area, 7 eleven is across the street and the metro was a quick walk away. We would stay at this hotel again.

Great place to stay when visiting Tokyo. Quiet area but in a great location for getting around all of Tokyo as the metro is a 5min walk away. A bit of a hidden gem as the restaurants and shops nearby are great and out of the tourist hotspots. Hotel was perfect - large rooms (for Japanese standards) with a great bathroom and facilities. Off the main street so extremely quiet. Very clean too. Would highly recommend for any couple as well as families.

Great stay in an ideal location

Stayed in a suite as a family of 2 adults and a 10 year old child. Suite was a great size with 3 double beds and a seating area with a sofa and tv which was separated by a few steps and a black out curtain. Bathroom was large with a decent shower and a separate sunken bath tub. The location of the hotel is ideal, 5 minute walk to underground station. Lots of restaurants, bars and convenience shops close by. We would happily stay again.

The area was really nice, there is a 7-11 right in front for some late night snacks! The train station is only 5-7 minutes away and was really easy to navigate.. we ended up using the same station for Shinjuku and Shibuya. The hotel is pretty big compared to others and right in front of the hotel is a small restaurant that also does breakfast for the hotel. I would book again in the future!

This hotel is fantastic. The staff were very accommodating and allowed us to leave our luggage for a few hours after check out so we could explore before heading to the airport. The room was nice, it was a little small but the shower was spacious which more than made up for it. There's a little restaurant next to the hotel which had delicious food that tasted like it was home made. The station is only about a 5 minute walk and there's tons of restaurants in the area.

I made reservation for a suite, it was great We got 1 big bedrom, small leaving room and 1 big size bathroom. I had 4 family member staying in this holel it was just enough space for all of us. Hotel was very clean with helpful staff, very good breakfast,Good location of the hotel with many shops and restaurant and subway near by. I highly recommend Hotel Risveglio for your Tokyo trip.

Location is great and the rooms are average size for the price for Tokyo. The bathroom was clean and the walk in shower was convenient. The bed was incredibly worn out however. It felt like sleeping directly on the box spring. Rotating the mattress helped, but only a little. The hotel is probably good for Japanese used to harder surfaces, but Westerners should avoid.

I highly recommend you stay here at Hotel Risveglio! Such a great little hotel with modern amenities. The room was on the cozier side, but thoughtfully designed to make the most of the space. We had a super comfy bed, and a decked out bathroom with an extremely fancy toilet (no joke!) and excellent water pressure in the shower. The staff, from front desk to housekeeping, were incredibly friendly and patient with our beginner Japanese. And the surrounding area is really nice and walkable with lots of restaurants and combinis, with just a short walk to the subway, beautiful green spaces and shrines.

The hotel is in a great location close to the station and local restaurants. The hotel itself is quite nice. However upon checking in I was asked to pay an additional tax (only about £2), which I thought had already been paid when I booked this place on Expedia.

Breakfast options are in the restaurant next door, there are 6 options but only 1 option is vegetarian. All the options were tasty except for the Japanese breakfast which was surprisingly poor.

The rooms are small, though I was expecting this to be the case. The shower facility is excellent, warm water and great pressure. Air conditioning was decent, though on hotter days (about 21 degrees) we found the A/C to be lacking a little. The bed was comfy and every night was a good nights sleep.

Hotel Risveglio was a great place to start our two week trip to Japan. A highly well decorated hotel, the rooms were spacious and well designed. We particularly enjoyed the bathroom area, which was cleverly designed in a long, narrow space. The bed was comfortable, and the hotel provided lots of amenities, including a hairbrush and hair dryer, toiletries and a safe for our more valuable items like money. The hotel is situated very close to Akasake-Mitsuke station, which meant it was convenient for travelling to many areas of the city. It is also close to a wide variety of restaurants and convenience stores. I would highly recommend Hotel Risveglio to all travellers.

Felt like sleeping in a V shape. Grout in bathroom missing many chunks and faucet was loose. Hallways not cleaned well. Location and breakfast were 5*... But deferred maintenance issues and half hearted cleaning puts it closer to a 2*

I booked the room for 3 and it was really spacious for 2 people! There is no Netflix or paid subscription services in this hotel though- so no staying in for the night with a kombini meal with Netflix! Room was a little musky when we arrived but after airing it and buying a deodoriser it was a lot better!
Staff was lovely. Great location in Akasaka with so many shops and restaurants around.

Small room (we had a Hollywood Twin), but everything else about the hotel made up for any lack of space. The hotel is very quiet, and you hear nothing from the street. The neighbourhood has oodles of restaurants and conveniences, and it's located just a couple blocks from the metro station. The walking instructions that were sent by email a couple days before were a lifesaver after our overseas and jetlagged flight. I enjoyed the variety of options with the included breakfast, and the front desk also provided dining recommendations for other meals. Small, minor complaint was that there was often no one at the front desk when we were coming and going. Other than that, thanks for a wonderful stay in Tokyo!
