I greatly appreciate the staff's help with my special requests, including sending luggage via Yamato transport . The local area doesn't have that much to offer tourists itself, but is a good central point to explore Tokyo. This hotel is also helpfully located directly opposite an entrance to the metro (no elevator though).

I booked this neighborhood on the advice of Reddit posts who noted it's a good central base to explore the different parts of the city, and they were right. I was aware beforehand Akasaka is not a tourist attraction area in its own right.

As for the hotel itself, I really appreciate the hotel staff for fulfilling my special request and always responding promptly to my Expedia messages. In person, they continued to be very helpful and courteous. The room was very clean and sufficiently spacious for one person. If I have a nitpick then there are only two washing machines, and the standard wash dry cycle still leaves clothes wet. If no one is waiting then you can do a drying cycle in 30 min increments, but otherwise you might want to bring a travel clothesline.

The staff at reception were incredibly nice and helpful! They welcomed us warmly each time we entered and exited. It was nice that they didn't my friend and I using their only computer for over an hr at times for research and how they helped us print itineraries. I greatly appreciated the ice room for my waterbottle cuz it's so hot outside. Also the eco friendly-option for room cleaning was nice and considerate with the free water bottle. Oh, and the Akasaka station is so close, didn't realize till I arrived!
Only downside is that the room was small and rather cramp for even two people but it's understandable considering Tokyo land space.
Overall the staff made the stay very welcoming!

This a very clean and cared for hotel that it was a pleasure to stay in. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the rooms spotless. It is ideally situated amongst a thriving area of variety. The one complaint is the space for clothes storage. It is hard not to have to live or stay in your suitcase as far as clothing goes. The rooms are understandably small given it’s Tokyo and not five star, but the overall design is very strong and tasteful.

Great location in the middle of everything and walking distance to Mid-town, Roppongi and Akasaka-Mitsuke. 2 mins walk to the train station entrances. Great, friendly staff who are so kind and helpful. 24 hour front desk. Stayed in the non smoking building and was so nice and peaceful, did not get disturbed from outside noise or neighbors at all. Room and bathroom was a good size, not too tiny like other hotels in Japan, was perfect for 2 friends with a lot of luggage, even had a spare room attached with a couch where we put our suitcases and clothes and new purchases. Wifi was fast and never dropped out as we didn't use the TV, we were able to watch Netflix and movies on the Ipad. Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again next time I come to Japan! Thank you for making my stay a comfortable and pleasant one. :)

Really close to the metro, not far from main attractions, like Shibuya crossing or Yoyogi park. Clean and nice hotel. There is a breakfast place downstairs.

The only bad thing is TERRIBLE wifi. Couldnt open any pages, was not working half of the time.

I usually don't comment about hotels so I will try my best to be objective.

Staff upon check-in were helpful. They initially told us that we had a free room upgrade and we were pleasantly surprised, however upon reaching the room, we did not realised any difference from what we had initially paid for. That did not bother us so much. Room size was small and you can maximum open two large luggage and there will be minimal space for walking. Amenities and bed were sufficient.

We actually stayed a gap night (stayed one night, left and came back for the third night). Upon coming back, the front desk once again told us that we had a free upgrade and upon checking in, it was the same type of room again, so there was a little annoyance there. Just before we went up, we enquired about the check out time and was told it was 11am.

Next day we woke up at 9am and decided to have breakfast near the hotel before checking-out and as we left, I've noticed a note on our table that stated the check-out time was actually 10am. So when we went to enquire again, we were told 10am and if we wanted 11am, we had to incur and extra surcharge. So we decided to just grab all our luggage and checked-out straight away.

All in all, their service is a little weird and bizarre and if you are looking for a hotel near the subway and with many food options around, you may consider this place.

Perfect location being a minute away from metro station, next to a lovely cafe, a few doors down from convenience store, and close to a lot of great restaurants and cafes. Room was clean, bed was really comfortable (love their mattress!), kind and efficient staff, and the room had amenities that you would need for everyday use. Free wife is a big plus, tea/coffee making items, air cleaner (huge plus!), refrigerator...you stay at this hotel and feel like home. I'll definitely return again.

Very disappointing. Complete absence of management. Complained about the dial up speed of internet, the ground-in food on the floors in the common area, and the smell of urine in the bathroom. Apparently the manager did not feel that these issues were out of the ordinary for the hotel. Best also to be aware that despite the high rankings for food the hotel does not have a restaurant. And the attached cafe does not do expresso drinks. So many other great choices in area.

Great hotel for a short stay

Excellent staff, spoke english well and made our check in very easy.

The room was spotless clean and with lots of amenities/toiletries provided. It is however a tiny room, as many other places in Japan I guess, and certainly no space to open big suitcases (unless you put them on the bed or something). I think it is suitable only for short stays that you don't spend much time in the hotel room.

We found the location great. Close to the subway station with another line about a 10 minute walk. Lively area with lots of place to eat around but not too busy/loud like Shinjuku/Shibuya.

This is the second time we chose this hotel, but this time we stayed in the main building which should be the old one... the room was smaller that the last time and the wifi was very poor.. couldn't even open some website with photos.. and the sound blocking could be better.. buy overall, the price is reasonable; the hotel is next to the JR station (Akasaka) and just 3 stations to Harasuku.

Lovely hotel in nice area. Felt very safe and the area was quiet. The only downside was the the room was very small. It was really a single room with a double bed in it. The bed was right up against the wall and there was no room at the bottom of it to walk round. This made it difficult for my husband who was on that side!! There was no room to put our (small) suitcases for our three night stay, so we had to get dressed in series rather than parallel! Otherwise the hotel was fine.

As others have mentioned, small but comfortable rooms. Great value for money, though, despite the small room. The one issue we had was that the fan in our bathroom didn't work, which only caused issues when having a hot shower. Then again, the room was quite dry, so the steam helped. If you're staying here, consider bringing one large suitcase or two small ones.

Staff were great. Despite the language barrier, they were helpful and courteous.

The location is great. Central Tokyo with three metro lines nearby, a grocery store, a few convenience stores, and plenty of eating options within a kilometre. Can't speak about the WiFi, as we rented a pocket WiFi (highly recommend doing this).

Comfortable, clean, with very quiet rooms. Friendly staff and perfect amenities for us as basic affordable tourist or business travel. Convenience stores, many restaurants, book store, and super market on the street. Can stand as well. Central Tokyo with the ability to travel in any direction quickly on train. Chiyoda 6 Akasaka line across the street and other Tokyo Metro lines nearby. Attached cafe/restaurant serves great little western breakfasts and the cafe is good for having conversation or working. Went ALL over Tokyo during our stay using a Suica pass. Purchased at Haneda airport. They can be ourchased elsewhere too. I’m going back to this hotel on my next stay. Definitely.

I got four rooms for my family and everyone was happy and satisfied. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
All the staff were friendly and accommodating. The front desk provided my family umbrellas to use during our stay for it was raining during that time. Hotel is close to subway stations. Highly recommended.

Hotel is just a few steps from the Tokyo metro train station exit 6 Asakasa station. There are plenty of restaurants along the hotel Street. From the hotel turn right and then straight ahead there are plenty of shops and restaurants. During night time you can see local people going out to bars and restaurants for a night out with friends.the room 601 is not that big but it's OK with the three of us but the mattress of the bed inside the 1door room was very hard.

Very nice hotel seconds away from Akasaka Station. We had a deluxe room with two sleeping areas that comfortably fit three in the room. The WiFi was always strong. We stayed in the annex which was nice and secure as you always needed a key to get into the building or onto your floor.

I had booked a smoking room over a promotion though I was a little bothered by the smell initially as I do not smoke. I was very glad to know that the hotel had air freshener in the room.

The train station next to the hotel is not the main line where most tourist attraction, ie. Ginza line. It's ok if you do not mind walking the streets but there isn't much to see as it's office buildings along the way to the Ginza Line Station. Alternatively, we make a few change of trains so that we can exit at the train station next to the hotel.

Food is easily available along the street of the hotel. There are a couple convenience store, cafes, restuarants and McDonald's.

To conclude, the hotel stay is pleasant and value for money.

The hotel is extremely close to Akasaka Station, which was very convenient. The room was very clean and comfortable, although the comfort was reduced by the small size--which is typical for this price in Japan. The staff were very friendly. The WiFi dropped a few times. There was a fridge with free bottles of water, which was very nice! The bathroom was in great shape. We would stay here again. The only downside is that we had a little difficulty finding the hotel at first.

I've stayed in this hotel twice, each for one week stays, and I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the room was always cleaned before noon, the metro is less than a minute's walk across the street, and the location is located right next to excellent shopping, all types of restaurants (there's a delicious ramen bar and a hotpot place a few stores down), coffee shops across the street and right next door, and convenience stores (family mart, 7-11, etc.) The 7-11 is also great because they have an atm inside that makes it easy to take out yen directly.

There isn't a shuttle to reach the hotel from the airport, but it's pretty easy to take the bullet train to Tokyo station, then the metro to Akasaka Station.

I've heard complaints that the rooms are small and cramped, but honestly space is a premium in Japan so it wasn't a huge deal for me as I was only in the room for sleeping. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a convenient location while staying in Tokyo!

Location of the hotel is extremely ideal. Only less than 1 min walk to the nearest exit of the Akasaka Station for Chiyoda Line. Spend less than 10 mins to walk to Akasaka Mitsuke station for the Ginza Line and Marunouchi Line. There are many eateries around and so no need to worry about getting hungry. 2 Family Marts nearby to meet all your daily needs.
Only disappointment is the room size which is so small that there is no space to move around, not to mention pack/unpack luggages. Bathroom is fully equipped with all essentials and comes with a bathtub :).

Super friendly staff great location easy to find.

Wonderful staff great location cross street from Metro, clean room and very clean bathroom small room though the awesome staff make everything so easy, they delivered my luggage to our room at 2 am with smiling face, definitely recommend to stay, will stay next time in Japan,

Affordable, clean and great location.

Very close to station and great area to check out. A little small for western standards but quite normal for a hotel in Japan. Best ramen I've had not too far from this hotel...
