This place is most horrible, dirty, ignorant and unclean place in whole Thailand.We booked 2 weeks and when arrived the place was managed by a rude, nosiy, arrogant prrson who gave us a room in 4rd floor where the hotel has no elevator. It is located in the most unclean alley of Pattaya walking street. It belongs to same people who are famous for not caring for cleanness. We were not given a refund and they stole two weeks of funds.
The Expedia should employ vetting process on this. This is theft in action. I am willing to take them to court and close this shanty non-place.

It is difficult to understate how horrible this “hotel” is. I’d rather sleep behind a dumpster behind a Chinese restaurant. The first room we were shown had a lizard on the bed, and the bed sheets were already used and disgusting. And there was no light in the bathroom. We were then given another room. Again the bed sheets and pillows were used and gross, but also the bathroom and toilet, and the floor, and essentially every surface of the room, was filthy. And the hot water heater was broken and smashed open. The owner told us that the cleaning lady had not come to the hotel in *days*. He tried placate us by bringing us “clean” pillows and pillow cases, that we then picked hair and eyelashes out of. I demanded the place be cleaned. My girlfriend and I were very tried and just wanted to sleep on a clean bed. He tried to get the cleaning lady to come, but kept saying she’d be there in “10 more minutes.” An hour and a half later, we were still in a filthy room with a bed too filthy to sit down on. The owner was also rude and annoyed that we expected a bed with sheets that didn’t have the previous occupants’ hair all over them. There is no elevator. The inside of the rooms looks like a post-apocalyptic movie.

Room had not been cleaned, wires hanging out of walls, bedding not been changed, no elevator, window falling off, no water pressure, beds made of bookshelves, terrible location. Left after an hour it was so bad.

Superb Staying at Encore. The room was good, room wall are nite and clean.. Bathroom are clean, Laundry service are available. Not the least Indian food test was the best in Pattaya. Manager is very helpful

The refrigerator did not work, mosquitoes were everywhere, and the place was absolutely filthy. Located in a terrible noise the district near walking street. I cannot recommend this place for anyone for any reason.

This is my 2nd visit in this Hotel in last 2 years & most to say things have changes quite lot.It looking fresh & new from the last time.The management has changes since the last time & they made some good changes like rooms are clean & looking good with new wallpaper.They serve you good Indian & Thai food @ good rate.The Owner & other Staffs are very helpful, gave us time to understand our needs & helped to plan our trip.

Nice hotel with strategic location

The location of the hotel is close to pattaya walking street, ripley's believe it or not and few other attractions. The staff is also quite helpful and friendly as this is my first time at Pattaya. I am quite happy throughout my stay here

Ghetto hotel near Walking street!

Hotel is freaking cheap but the rooms are also very sub standard. It was difficult to adjust suddenly into such environment. Bathroom was a big letdown. Electronic safe was not working. View from the window was not pleasing.

150 m the other side and you stand in the middle of the most famous Walking Street

Encore for me, Sure !!!

Nice Little Place to stay in Pattaya. Perfect Location, Nice and clean rooms and supportive staff. For this price, I think its great. safety deposit box in rooms, good wi-fi, 24 hrs reception. some Rooms are decorated recently and i was lucky to get one. Rooms are not that big but have all I needed in a hotel. There was a bit of noise in the night time. Had a comfortable, hassle free and enjoyable stay at Encore.

Great location, but not so great beds

I had a really bad sleep, I was practically scratching myself the whole night. I guess the bed were infested with bed bugs. However, location was perfect as it was really close to walking street.

Might be okaaaa for short time boom boom.

The only positive about this hotel was is direct location to Walking Street. The whole place smelled terrible, the toilet was dirty and the seat was broken, the water from the shower didn't drain, a/c in the room did not work and my girlfriend got a rash after only SITTING on the bed for a mere 10 minutes. HORRIBLE. We checked out and went to a different place immediately.

Everything Perfect

I found everything perfect with Encore. Rooms are clean, everything working fine. Good value for money, location near walking street. staff is a bonus always helpful. I got more than expected, free wifi, safety box in the room, good air con, and it is guest friendly. I regularly visit Pattaya and luckily got this place and it will always be my first choice.

Owners are polite but...

The Bad:
Hotel is 5-6 stories with no elevator and the room I was given was the dirtiest nastiest room I have ever stayed in, there was hair stuck to the floor of the \"shower\" and the sheets a fingernail clippings on them among other smaller things. The bed was a rock and most the furniture was outdated and falling apart.

The Good: Staff is welcoming and friendly

The worst part: I messed up bad and booked 14 days here after one day i decided to leave and they would not work with me all on refunding any of the money I even offered upfront to pay for 3 days and just get the rest back and open the room for someone else. they refused

Disappointed by Customer Service

I am extremely disappointed by the customer service at Encore Hotels. I was supposed to check in on May 22nd. On May 20th thailand army enforced martial law in the country: http://edition.cnn.com/2014/05/20/world/asia/thailand-martial/ .... I called up the hotel and told them to cancel my reservation since I decided to postpone my thailand trip to a later date when the political crisis subsides. Instead the hotel staff were very stubborn and refused to refund any money saying I should have called on May 19th. I reminded them that the army took over on May 20th. Everything seemed fine on May 19th.

3 nights in The Encore

Hotel I close to walking street and it's owned and operated by an Indian couple. One can assure if relaxed stay in a calm and quiet place. With good Indian food. The rooms are lil small as compared to other standard hotels and the bathroom in the room I stayed had leakage problem but it bit matter much coz we sleep in da day. Very nice and cooperative staff. One can have Good affordable stay at the encore.
