The room seemed about average for Tokyo. The shower and bathtub room has some mould. The jetted tub is pretty gross to be honest and knowing it’s not easy to clean properly made me apprehensive.

I was recommended to stay here for the convenience and being close to the metro. Better research would’ve served me well.

The breakfast is nothing special, it included make your own nigiri -that was subpar when the machine was working. Some cereal and soup was available. Mini croissants and milk bread was available, along with all you can drink and mini desserts. What I’m trying to say is the food isn’t healthy at any point in the day.

I think the only saving grace was all the free toiletries. I enjoyed the options.

Hotel is nice but very small. Staff were very nice and they help you transfer the luggage to your next destination hotel. They really spent lot of time to address the issue we had with our transfer. Breakfast is not good, We are vegetarians and they didn't even have single vegetarian options like fruits, bread, yogurt or eggs nothing, we bought fruits from outside and ate. Hotels.com messed up and gave us smoking room even though I booked non smoking room. Hotel staff helped us with fresheners etc but i could smell little bit but what can we do ! rooms are clean and overall good stay.

Great location. 5 minute walk to central Shinjuku. 2 minute walk to closest 7/11. Coin-laundry right outside the hotel.
Amenities were excellent - all the skin care products you could hope for - and they let you take some home with you. Free wide range of self-serve drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and cakes was a great surprise - help yourself whenever you want.
Breakfast was decent. Simple, but sufficient. Making your own sushi balls was cool.
Room was on the smaller side, but that's expected around Japan. Was very clean and comfortable, with plenty of modern luxuries. Fridge, microwave, kettle, TV with included Chromecast to cast movies from your phone, TV in the toilet, plenty of soaps and lotions.

this hotel has a lot of charm! but boy the room was small! we couldn't move into the room and we are not fat people, the bed was also covered in dust and they had a rusty and dirty air purifier covered in dust. the bathroom was full of soaps, no place for your personal items.

Amenities were wonderful but unfortunately my bed was FILTHY. I had to show photos to the staff of what I found and received a partial refund. They did offer to switch our room but I i had booked transport to another hotel already. I appreciated the other perks to this hotel.

This place was amazing! All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, even if some didn't speak English. They have free breakfast every morning (make your own onigiri, juice, coffee, bread, and soup) and s'mores in the evening. There is a beverage vending machine and unlimited serve your own alcohol available 24/7. The inside is so pretty and calming and they have a little campsite themed dining area. Our room was very nice with an area to leave your shoes, a big bath with jets, an adjustable shower head, and a comfy bed with a canopy (plus mini fridge, microwave, tv and kettle). Everything was clean and the hallways were decorated pretty with plants and intricate woodwork. They have lots of freebies including lotion, mints, nose strips, face masks, bath salt, shampoo, conditioner, and hair accessories. You can also rent the larger bottles of shampoo, pillows, a massage gun, casual clothing, and a bed topper. You do have to leave your room key at the front desk when you leave but it was very easy. There was always someone there and I felt this kept us from loosing the key. Overall, we had a great experience and would love to come back one day! Thank you!

I enjoyed the hotel the free snacks, free bar, free body and skin care! I loved how close to trains it was. I enjoyed the room the few things I didn’t enjoy was the stair case into the room I don’t remember seeing it on the photos and lastly didn’t like the table that was in the room not a lot of space with it in there! You couldn’t walk along the other side of the bed or utilize the couch because this end table was in the way!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Petit Bali Higashi-Shinjuku very much. Last year we stayed at Petit Bali Garden and wanted to stay at Bali again. The rooms are generous size compared to the big chain hotels and more comfortable. So many amenities available. Free drink bar, desserts, alcohol, all included 24/7. You can grab lotions, bubble bath, extra mouthwash, etc from the main floor to use while you stay free of charge. Overall nicer than most hotels I've seen. Its like staying at a spa. Atmosphere is nice and relaxing, massage chairs are a nice perk. Free buffet breakfast, while fairly small/limited, is a nice touch. All that was missing was since fruit. Overall great stay :)

Great Stay! Would Come Back!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Petit Bali in Shinjuku! In a great, safe area, within walking distance to transportation. The amenities to take to your room for free were unmatched! Rooms little on the smaller side, which seems to be par for the course in Tokyo. Had trouble getting the AC going, but overall we very much enjoyed our time and would stay again!

Large bathroom, comfortable bed, polite staff and great amenities. My only issue is the noise idk if it was the people next me or above me but I couldn't hear anyone speaking but the closing of doors or cabinets was extremely loud. Most of the time sounded like someone was in my room walking around or in the walls. If you're a light sleeper wouldn't recommend but if you get pass that it's a really nice hotel. Oh and free alcohol, juice & soda. It definitely has it's pluses just really didn't like the noise of closing doors & walking

I booked other hotels for my trip while in Japan and this one was my favorite. It was my first hotel for the week and I think it was convenient because I did not pack many essentials for when I arrived. The amount of available amenities was beyond my expectations. It was perfect to freshen up after flying for 10hours. Staff are super friendly and the place was clean. Good vibes :)
I'll definitely be booking here again for next year.

Teeny tiny room but what more did we need. All the free stuff that’s included is amazing. We each even had a bubble bath! The staff were wonderful and the subway was about 5 minutes away once we figured out the back way instead of the Main Street! Would gladly stay here again.

This is my honest feedback: The hotel is on the smaller side, and the rooms aren’t as spacious as those in larger chain hotels. However, the staff was fantastic, and the room was spotless and stocked with a variety of amenities, including soaps, lotions, toothbrushes, shower gels, slippers, bathrobes, bottled water, and more. In the lobby, you'll find complimentary snacks, coffee, tea, and even free alcohol, along with additional amenities you can take if you need something. The staff really goes above and beyond to take care of their guests, and I would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing and great oasis in a convenient location close to shopping, food, and public transportation. Room was comfortable, clean, and equipped with kettle, microwave, and mini-fridge with freezer. Truly appreciated the generosity of the amenities, drinks, and snack foods. Breakfast options were very limited (onigiri maker with a selection of toppings, croissants, bread, cereal). Definitely an all inclusive experience

Let me start with saying the service by all the staff was great. They respected your privacy but were readily available any time needed.
The location is great, if slightly difficult to find on google maps, but it is Kabukicho. If you can’t find this easily, enter any Bali An hotel and they will sort you out.
The room was spacious and well appointed. The true surprise for me though was the incredible range of amenities. There were snacks and beverages (including a well stocked bar) around the clock, all included. This included a range of beauty care products, pillows and eye masks, teas, grooming supplies, etc.
the single difficulty I experienced was getting the room’s climate controlled. It was stuffy when I checked in, so I turned on the a/c; then it got chilly and I couldn’t figure out how to turn it off. But I was only there for 2 nights and barely in the room during the day, so I never asked for help. I’m sure it was my inability to figure out. Overall excellent! I would stay again and recommend to anyone wanting to pamper themselves while on holiday.

A fine place to stay

I really liked this hotel! Some pros: they have amenities/free products I never knew I needed. The amount of complimentary amenities was really wonderful. In theory you could come to this hotel with just a change of clothes. The free AYCE breakfast is nice - onigiri and cereals. Light but still free. The room has everything from chargers to c*ndoms to a leg massager and microwave and fridge. Truly everything. The Japanese style shower was amazing. Great water pressure and clean. FREE WINE and liquor from the bar downstairs. 2 convenience stores within a 3 minute walk from the hotel, and a 15 min walk to major train station.
The cons:
This hotel is extremely small. Being in the room became overwhelming bc there isn’t anywhere to sit besides the low bed. I couldn’t imagine us having any more luggage than we brought (2 roller bags and 2 backpacks) bc it just wouldn’t fit. The cleanliness was just okay. Lots of places for dust to collect. There was some street noise, but I’ve had worse. They burn incense downstairs. It wasn’t bad, just a little strong at times.
Overall, I liked the hotel, just wish it was a bit roomier for the 2 of us.

What a lovely first night on our adventure! The hotel was beautiful, and the rooms had everything you could desire, spa quality products. We got the room with the outside bath and spiral stair case and it had so much charm. The staff were lovely, and we felt very welcome. Would come back here again in an instant!

Rooms are small. There is no wardrobes in the rooms at all, but this is Tokyo. The cleanliness is... okay. For example, they won't clean a room until you request, and it's gonna cost you ¥2000, for free only towel changes. A lot of amenities downstairs are for free. The free breakfast is not really breakfast. It's a tea, coffee, cereal and tiny, croissants, that's basically it. Location is convenient.
The stuff at the front desk is very friendly and responsive, used to respond for any kinds of requests. So five stars for it.

I enjoyed my time here! I absolutely loved the large selection of free amenities: which included an OPEN BAR (sake, spirits, wine), soft drinks (loved the Fanta Melon), and small desserts (pudding). There was great lobby area with massage chairs and a breakfast nook (grind your own coffee bar, onigiri station, cereal, small breads).

My only heads up is that the room is really small and my partner and I barely had any space (we brought two full size luggages). Just something to note if you’re bringing bigger luggage. The beds were well made, however they were quite hard as well.

Location itself was incredibly walkable and only a couple of minutes away from great shopping. I would recommend this as a place to stay.

Amazing stay. Everything was free, free full bar, coffee, tea, breakfast, an onigiri machine!!! Need I say more? Staff was super friendly and helpful with transporting luggage. Room was small but clean and FULL of products to use, from skin care to hair products. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay near Shinjuku.
