Everything about the hotel was wonderful. The staff were helpful. The food. The view was amazing!!!! The pool activities they had were fun. The only I could say was the bathtub had a crack so I had to be careful. I definitely will recommend my friends and family. I’m hoping next year I can make it again.

Poolside seating was great. Had to reserve chairs with towels early in the day but once we got into the groove of things it was easy enough! Dinner reservations also went very quick at 8 am but once again I never had problems getting reservations. Plenty of food options all day long. The staff were phenomenal, especially the interactions with kids and kids activities. Definitely a great option for families. We had a great time!

Terrible service long check-in and checkout lines, closed buffet and was not notified of this elevators horrible the worst I’ve ever seen one was broken, à la carte restaurant booking absolutely ridiculous, room look like they haven’t been updated in 20 years. Half the stuff broken in rooms, had to order coffee to room each morning cause no coffee provided, paid $5 a day for that and took 35+ minutes for someone to pickup the phone and bring it to me. Absolutely horrible hotel some staff very good others rude

The staff were good & friendly & the room was fine but the food was not good. My husband got food poisoning on the last day from a shrimp that looked sus to me. The check in was a living nightmare. With only 4 families in front of us it took 1 hr & 47 minutes to check in . . . No exaggeration. . . It was the worst having to stand there for that long after a long plane ride. We would not recommend this place unless you are on a tighter budget & it’s what you can afford. We were staying there for 6 days before we moved on to Holbox for another 10 days & we couldn’t wait to leave. The beach was really nice though & if anyone finds my wedding band while digging on the beach let me know ;) It was titanium so not a big deal to lose . . .

Excellent resort very clean and lots of different areas to hang out. The adult section is fantastic and very comfortable. The downside the bar up there closes at 5 but the pool is open until 10. The shows are so well put together and the Michael Jackson show was the best I had ever seen. Definitely recommend this resort. Heads up there are a lot of kids.

We LOVED this resort! Every staff memeber was INCREDIBLE! Food was very good... not fancy but we were not there for fine dining! The restaurants were ok...nice opportunity for a private quieter dinner ( you MUST be on your phone at 8am sharp to get a reservation...we never had an issue) In order...French(we went twice), Mexican(twice as well) Steak place, Italian...
We were just the 2 of us and spent ALL our days at the Adults only pool! AMAZING! Bartenders were top notch! If you want to reserve your canaba someone needs to get up early...7amish... and put your towels on a cabana! You won't get even a chair after 9am! You don't have to stay just put some item on it to save it! We used Happy Shuttle both directions from the airport... they were GREAT! We tipped in Pesos at the bars, in our room and buffet...USD at the restaurants. All staff were very appreciative! We would definetly stay here again!
We were in buildng 2 on the 7th floor, \"Club Room\" definetly worth the little extra! Big tub jacuzzi tub looking out at the ocean!

There are so many mixed reviews on this property so I was apprehensive upon arrival but pleasantly surprised. The resort is beautiful - the location is as well. The staff are really really great (shout out to our bellman Oscar and our chambermaid Fernando), though we found in the buffet the service was better on the patio (shoutout to Antonio & Pedro) as the service inside was almost non-existent. We were happy with the food - though we aren't overly picky, definitely enjoyed the poolside lunch shack every day as it was food the kids love (burgers and fries) and we only ever ate in the buffet for breakfast and dinner but always found lots of options. The Kids Paradise we used only once, but the kids were safe and happy there. :-) We enjoyed the nightly shows in the theatre - especially the Michael Jackson and Disney Trivia ones. The variety in pools was a huge hit for our entire family and though there is no reservation system for the loungers we were always able to get at least one (people are crazy and would get up in the middle of the night to reserve them with their personal items). The hotel itself is clean and you see the staff working very hard around the clock to keep things running smoothly - the rooms are nice, though ours definitely needed some maintenance but nothing that would keep us from coming back. Overall - we would give this hotel 4.5/5 :-) Absolutely would come back!

Great place for a large group with various interests and budgets. Staff was friendly, family pools were great. But you do need to get up very early to reserve your pool chairs. The food wasn’t great. The only really good meals we had was breakfast at the Italian restaurant. Otherwise, we took a bus into town to eat. Would recommend.

Our stay at this resort in Cancun was extremely disappointing and far from the relaxing vacation we expected. The biggest issue was the complete lack of seating around the swimming pools. The resort simply does not have enough lounge chairs for the number of guests and rooms they accommodate.
Because of this, guests were waking up as early as 5:00 AM just to reserve chairs by the pool by placing towels on them. Unfortunately, we had to do the same every single morning if we wanted any chance of enjoying the pool area. Having to set an alarm for 5 AM during a vacation completely defeats the purpose of being on holiday.
What made the experience worse was that the staff were not accommodating or helpful with even minor requests. When guests are paying for a resort experience, basic amenities like pool seating should be accessible without this kind of stress or competition.
A vacation should be relaxing and carefree, not a daily race for chairs at sunrise. The property clearly oversells capacity relative to available amenities, and management does not seem to address the issue.
Overall, this situation took the fun out of what was supposed to be a relaxing getaway. I would strongly recommend that the resort either significantly increase seating capacity around the pools or enforce fair policies on reserving chairs. Until that happens, I would think twice before staying here.

Lots of various pools to enjoy. The waterslides are great for both kids and adults. The food at the buffet and poolside lunch area are really good and the à la carts are even better, especially the French and Italian restaurant. It’s one of the few resorts with rooms that can sleep a family of five or more in one room. The rooms were always cleaned and restocked with beer pop and water. There’s many convenient bar locations and the ocean is beautiful. This is a great family resort. The nightlife is not great, however. It’s a lot of families which is perfect for us

The check in process was disappointing-could not get in to room until after 3 even though we had the honeymoon suite (figured we would be allowed in a bit earlier).

Getting a seat at the main pools was impossible unless you “saved” your spot by 6:30 in the morning. We used the adults only pool the entire time, which is nice but no beach view there.
The restaurant s are back to reservations only which you need to make right at 8:00 AM-who wants to wake up that early every day on vacation?! The buffet food was sub par, often cold or undesirable.

Overall was a bit disappointing this time-we had been here the last 4 years but will be choosing somewhere else next year.

Not enough pool loungers. Adults literally fighting over places to sit. Long drink lines. Activites weren’t reliable ex. Most Aqua Zumba classes didn’t run as scheduled. Restaurant reservations were hard to get. If you weren’t on the app right at 8, it’s not happening. Location is close to airport, but far from most excursions parks. Took 3 hours to get the Xplore.

We did have a good time, but some frustrating moments. Affordable decent option for families with kids between 5-12.

Let’s be real the only thing this resort got right was the staff. They were genuinely kind and welcoming. Everything else? A complete fail.

For an “all-inclusive,” the food situation was almost laughable. We couldn’t get a single restaurant reservation the entire stay, yet somehow there were empty tables every night. Turns out, if you’re not a “club member,” good luck you’re basically an afterthought. What exactly are we paying for then?

And the buffet? Easily the worst I’ve ever had. Most of the food was straight up inedible cold, poorly prepared, and clearly lacking any kind of quality control. Calling this “all-inclusive dining” is generous at best.

This place sells an experience it simply cannot deliver. Between the unfair reservation system and the terrible food, the entire stay felt like a waste.

We definitely won’t be back.

If you’re an American I wouldn’t come here. They treated us very badly. If I had the money I would have left. Please spend the extra $ else where.

The food was seriously bad and I’ve been to multiple resorts and cruises.

The elevator was broken for two days and we couldn’t even get to our floor had to use the stairs with housekeeping etc.

The water took 15 minutes to get warm. You can’t get ahold of the front desk either what so ever. Never had that in a resort.

When I checked in they told me to do reservations for the restaurants at 8 am so I did and there was nothing available. I tried calling the front once again and nothing. No one answers. When I got back from my excursion I asked if they could help and they did after an attitude about it. I told them they need more staff during peak season.

No coffee shop at all

I got dress coded for the Buffett when other girls (Mexican and other ethnicity with similar if not worse or same outfits got to go in) and they made me change. People brought the Buffett plates outside the buffet and they allowed them to do it, but as soon as my family did they tried to take the plate away. (Not even joking) They never had towels available for the pool kept saying they’re washing them so we had to use our room ones, but if you lose your card for the towels it’s $25. Didn’t get clean towels for a day and again, tried calling housekeeping nothing. Got a note basically stating if our stuff went missing it was them.

Most staff were attentive, polite, and seem to enjoy their job. Had one really bad incident with reception employee and two managers got involved. They were professional and listened great! Not sure I’d go back to all inclusive but if you like that type of environment it’s a great place and nicely located.

Great location, excellent service and attention. I have no complaints at all—the buffet food was good, the ocean view from the room was incredible, the beach was beautiful, and the activities for kids and families were fun. We were able to make a reservation at one of the restaurants without any issues, and the food was delicious! I recommend booking early in the morning starting at 8 a.m. (I never had trouble reserving—I only lost two previous reservations because we got caught up in other activities).

I’d like to congratulate the hotel staff—everyone was very kind, helpful, and professional, from the receptionists and servers to the entertainers and bellhops like Osvaldo, who kindly helped us with our luggage when we left the hotel.

Without a doubt, a “no-brainer” if you’re coming with family. Great value for the price, with a prime location right next to Playa Delfines.

Unfortunately, our overall experience with the hospitality was disappointing. While the pool area was enjoyable and the kids had fun, it really only felt suitable for a short stay of 1–2 days, as there weren’t enough engaging activities to keep them occupied beyond that.

One of the major issues was the long waiting times for indoor games. The limited availability meant the kids often couldn’t participate, which left them quite frustrated. Improving access and reducing wait times for these activities would make a big difference for families.

The dining experience was another letdown. The food quality did not meet expectations, and the restaurant reservation system was particularly inconvenient. The booking window was too limited, seating was scarce, and strict time limits made the experience feel rushed rather than relaxing. Expanding reservation availability, increasing seating capacity, and offering more flexible dining times would greatly enhance guest satisfaction.

Overall, with better organization of activities, improved food quality, and a more guest-friendly reservation system, the experience could be significantly improved for families.

Check-in took about 45 minutes, which wasn’t ideal, but the trip improved after that. The waterslides were a huge hit and kept us entertained for hours each day. The zip line and rock wall were fun but only open 2–5 PM and limited to one turn per day.

Our room was cleaned daily and the fridge restocked, which we appreciated. Food options kept us satisfied overall. Booking the specialty restaurants (5 options) wasn’t the smoothest process, but we were able to try most. The Fisherman’s was our favorite. The French restaurant is adults-only.

Water access was a bit inconvenient once the bottled supply in the room ran out, you have to refill at bars or dispensers. My husband liked the Modelo in the fridge, but the draft beer at the bar tasted “stale.”

The gym needs upgrades! Several machines were out of order and dumbbells only went up to 50 lbs. Beds were very firm, and the hot tub (adults-only area) was lukewarm.

The beach was a highlight. The sand is soft, fun waves, and manageable seaweed.

Overall, a great family trip with fun memories. Keep expectations realistic and you’ll enjoy it!

Fun for families - the water slides, pools and beach were great. The staff were all very friendly and provided amazing service. The food was not great in the buffet or the à la cart restaurants, however there was a lot of it so you will be able to find something you like. This looks like quite an old resort and it is starting to show its age in certain areas. If you are on a budget it has a lot to offer, if not, keep looking.

For some background, my family has been to Cancun 10+ times. I booked this because there are a lot of kids activities. It seems like whoever is running this resort hasn’t been to any other nearby resorts for 20 years to see what they’re doing.
The beds are small and as hard as a rock.
Our A/C thermostat didn’t work so the room was either 60 or 80 when it was on or off.
There are ice machines on the floors that don’t work. Water bottle stations that don’t work. There is no water in the rooms or at the bars and they’ll charge you $5 to bring some to your room.
There wasn’t even water in the gym. The gym equipment was 30 years old and in rough shape.
In the buffet, the bread toaster didn’t work.
There aren’t enough pool chairs. I got up at 6:30 and couldn’t get pool seats. 3:30 did the trick.
There are activities for kids but some are broken and don’t work.
All of my kids got dermatitis (skin bumps and rash) likely from an unclean pool.
If you’re very budget sensitive this might be a fit for you, but I wouldn’t go back if they gave it to me for free.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Crown Paradise Club Cancun due to several issues.

There are no restaurant options available aside from the main open buffet, which is quite poor compared to other all-inclusive resorts in the area. Restaurant reservations open at 8:00 AM and are fully booked within 2–3 minutes, giving you almost no chance to secure a spot.

Another major issue is the lack of availability at both the beach and the pool. Guests reserve chairs by placing towels on them very early in the morning—I tried going at 6:00 AM, and everything was already taken.

There is also no coffee shop on-site, and the staff appears to be limited due to underbooking and operational constraints.

For the same price, you can definitely find a better resort where you can truly enjoy your vacation rather than having to compete just to eat or find a place to relax.

I’m sorry to say this, but this experience did not meet expectations. For context, I’ve traveled every year for the past 11 years to destinations like Mexico, Jamaica, and Punta Cana—and this has been the worst experience so far.

We had a short stay at this property and thank goodness for that. Upon pulling up you can see that this is an older property. Check in- wasn't a smooth process, wasn't told where to go, kids weren't added to our room which then made more of an issue when booking our meal for the next evening difficult. The room that we were put in was very old and adjoining to another family. The balcony door didn't lock. When having a shower it felt like you may fall through the tub which was old lacked caulking and the tap wouldn't stay at a consistent temperature. Not to mention the crumbling drywall around it. We found there was a smell in our section of the hotel that we were put in. When dealing with the staff had to ask for things multiple times at the front desk and even then it didn't happen. The food was sub-par at best. There could have been more fresh fruit available. The entertainment was poor. I wouldn't recommend coming to this hotel at all.

I was on the 8th floor, the elevator rarely worked and frankly I was exhausted for walking 8 flights of stairs a minimum of 2x's a day.

I left 3/d early of a 6/n reservation.
I gladly paid a $400 fee to change my flight home.

The resort itself seems to be getting old, we got VIP and even some chairs in there were halfway broken!
When we got there they downgraded our room and denied a refund! We got the honeymoon sweet, after 3 days we finally got our room that did not come with all the amenities it advertised. For my first international trip I was extremely disappointed. The food was mid at best! This is a resort I wouldn’t visit again.

Clean room, very small though, and the door to the balcony was ready to break. The bed was rock hard. Was a nice ocean view. The elevators were super slow, and often broken down. The staff was lovely, the food was good as long as you were at the buffet early or at the à la cartes. Pools were lovely.

My honeymoon suite was awful, room #2032. The bellman Jesus was so arrogant, he stopped and talked to several other guests about helping them from the lobby to my suite. Once inside, the sunroom windows were very dirty. There was no hot water in the bathtub or the jacuzzi on the balcony. The bed was ok but otherwise the room was terrible. The ice machines did not work near my suite either. Finally I had to call the front desk and make many complaints. Finally the front desk stopped answering my calls so I had to walk to the front desk to complain. Things were so bad that I couldn’t stay at this hotel because suite 2032 had no hot water. Management was not helpful either. Finally a front desk supervisor checked me out of suite the following morning. I would NEVER recommend this property to anyone else!!!

The room was clean and house keeping did a great job of cleaning it as needed. The bathtub was very dated and did not work that great for kids. You could hear everything from our room (we were on the 4th floor) like loud people at the pool and bar at all hours of the night.
I loved that this resort had so many activities for kids/families and for a variety of ages too.
One of the biggest issues is the poor wifi connectivity at this resort. Without good working wifi, it was difficult taking full advantage of the amenities. I did not feel comfortable/safe leaving my children at the kid’s paradise or baby paradise under their care when the only way for them to contact you is dependent on good working wifi.
I would have loved to try a few of the restaurants on site but it is very difficult to get a reservation especially if you are traveling with family not staying in your room. We were only able to try the steakhouse and the food was ok but the atmosphere was fun.
Food was ok, my kids loved the snack bar by the pool that offered burgers and fries all day long and they loved that every bar had a kids menu too. I wish they had more fresh fruit/vegetable options at the grab and go lunch spots during the day and night.

Our stay at this all-inclusive hotel was extremely disappointing. The room we were given was in very poor condition—dirty, poorly maintained, and clearly not cleaned properly despite housekeeping claiming otherwise. We were constantly missing basic necessities like towels, which made things even more frustrating.

At one point, around 3:30 a.m., the roof started leaking, and the shower also leaked regularly, leaving water all over the floor with nothing available to clean it up. This made the room feel uncomfortable and unhygienic.

Room service was just as unreliable. Our refrigerator was supposed to be restocked daily, but it was often left empty. When we called to request service, we were repeatedly told someone would come, but no one ever showed up.

Overall, the lack of cleanliness, poor maintenance, and terrible service made this a very negative experience. Unfortunately, we would not stay here again.

Cancún is always nice! The resort was generous with drinks when getting tipped, nice crystal blue ocean view.

They charge you for everything. We picked this hotel because it said it was family friendly, we’re traveling with our baby who still drinks formula. They did not stocked our mini fridge that day so in the middle of the night my husband had to go down to the front desk to have someone bring up 4 bottles of water and told us that it would be a room service charge. plus the phone was not working and when it did nobody picked up on the other end. Elevators sucks you stop at every floor because the Mexicans don’t know hours to fix American elevators. If you don’t have strong internet service and not on your phone by 0759am to reserve your restaurant you’re stuck eating at the buffet unless you buy their up-sale ( like their “premium steak”) at the restaurant or bribe the host. Hated the structure of the hotel nothing made sense going up and down stairs to use bathroom or get somewhere.

Not the worst but I wouldn’t come back

Nobody polices when people save seats at the pool - most of the time the seats are saved the whole day with nobody coming to sit in them and so nobody can use them.
People actually getting upset when you take their seats when they haven’t been there for at least an hour to two hours it’s not fair and this is not high school
There was an instance at the beach, where they were towels left on the chair chairs for approximately 5 hours and the attendance came for five minutes and left, and nobody was able to use the receipt receipts
The buffet was OK
Disappointed at the steaks restaurant the steak was subpar
The seafood restaurant the fish fillet was good. The steak was OK. I’ve had better in Texas.
The Concierge was no help. He was only there to direct you, but stated “”” I have no power.”
The drinks were OK
The lifeguards were Very professional. I’m glad they had them. They were on top of their job.
The sea was choppy a little bit, but clear waters with a little bit of seaweed, which is OK

They never had enough towels many times I would go to this house service and they would say it would be a 10 to 20 minute wait

The fact that this is rated a 3* should be a crime. We didn’t have a single bad meal, didn’t get sick and the entertainment was very fun. Only 1 of the two elevators were working half the time but if that’s your major gripe for demoting this place you’re focusing on the wrong things. Staff were top notch and took care of their sections during meals very well. Better than any service I get in Canada paying a ton more. I’ll be back, with or without kids. Cheers!

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were clean and in acceptable condition. Cleaning was done on a daily basis (if you want it, we chose every other day). Food in the restaurants was good and have a variety of types to choose from with a buffet style restaurant in the middle of the complex that is good. Overall a good value for the money. Some things to be aware of... this is a very child friendly property and if this is what you are looking for or need then great (it IS NOT a quiet place). If you are expecting 5 star on a 3 star budget... you are going to be disappointed. If you don't wake up before sunrise and go to the various pools or beach and stake out your cabana or sun chair you'll be out of luck, which can be frustrating. All in all, we had a very enjoyable stay, met some wonderful people from the UK and Canada and got lots of sun.

Crown Paradise hotel is great for families with children. You'll get exactly what you pay for, knowing it's an old hotel that need some renovations. Great staff ESPECIALLY ***Jesus*** at the steakhouse and Carlos at italian. All Luis at bars are nice and funny. Room is old and furnitures too, but it's really clean and taken care off. All the rooms seems to have balcony with an ocean view which is great when your kids are napping to relax and enjoy. Pool are clean. You pay for a 3 stars hotel you'll get 3 and half, just don't go there expecting a 5 stars hotel. Check-in is crazy long as stated in a lot of reviews. It would be the main thing to fix. Not normal to wait 90 min to check-in. For the rest, they should make a better use of there oceanside as they have NO outdoor tables at ''à la carte'' restaurant. Thanks for the stay Crown Paradise, hope to see you again!

View was amazing. Staff was even better. However had a constant water leak in ceiling that caused a major problems. Construction wise, it left nothing to the imagination. Elevators only work for short periods of time. Nothing was 24hrs. Even room service was spotty. Over 2hrs for delivery. Was told I could pay the $5 room service fee in cash, was still charged for the fee.
