A nice hotel in a quiet area in Chiang Mai

800 THB for a room & buffet breakfast. When we wanted do expend our stay they charged us the same rate. The hotel has a small gym & a swimming pool. Lots of eateries near the hotel. For what we paid, I think it provided everything we needed. The only shotcoming is cleanliness as we found lots of hair on the floor.

What to expect at Pangviman Place 1

There are two buildings at Pangviman Place and we were in the older (just 6 years old) building. Great price and value for the money. A few odd things - like toilet in sliding glass doors along with the shower, no bar soap, just shower gel. Breakfast is very good - does not favor western food, very \"light\" tea also. Pool is salt water and nice - using googles will prevent your eyes from stinging afterward. Lots of staff outside in the parking lot who were helpful. You are just a bit outside the touristy part of town, but close. Not our favorite location, but still great for what you are paying.

nice hotel with beautiful view of bangkok city

Stayed overnight at the hotel and it was very pleasant. The room was very clean and nice. There is a beautiful view of the bangkok city from the main restaurant which is exceptional. There was a lot of selection for the breakfast but will have been good if it was kept warm. There was access to free wifi but only at the the bar area which was quite inconvenient. It will be useful if they can upgrade the wifi to allow access in rooms.

Room needs updated! Stains on walls, wasn't cleaned as spider webs were in the shower area!
Not a great location, taxi/ tuk tuk rude was needed to get to anything.

Great value hotel for a family

A comfortable stay for our family of 4. We loved the spacious room and tasty breakfast with a variety of dining options. The staff were always helpful and kind to our children. The only downside, a little out or town, but well worth it for the other advantages.

Not bad for the price

The hotel room was fine. The hotel itself is located near a main road where you can get tuk tuks to anywhere (airport is 150 baht). Most of the staff was good, the only draw back was that the people at Reception did not speak English very well. The breakfast is good, shower fine, internet worked. The neighborhood is alright, though some streets are not well lit at night.

Inexpensive

I thought we got what we paid for. My wife was disappointed in the level of the facilities. We had been on tour and staying in 4 and 5 star hotels.
I thought it was fine for the one night we spent there.
Would only recommend it to someone who wanted a very inexpensive stay in Chiang Mai.

Toilet and shower combined, toilet seat gets wet when shower is on, room very unclean, mould in shower, hard bed, breakfast is a thai breaky, no western food, staff don't speak much English, miles to town

It was okay.Way out of the old town 100 baht tuk tuk there and sometimes more back.Breakfast stops at 09.30.Bad echo in the corridors so you can hear everybody coming and going.Had a leak from the toilet told reception first day,nothing was done to repair it, we were there for 5 days!

Terrible experience in the \"old\" building.

Let's just start off listing all of the negatives because there is really not much good that can be said about a hotel for this price in Thailand.

-The room is dirty
-There was a \"access door\" to the pipes in the wall near my shower that was not closed
-The towels were dirty
-The sheets were dirty
-The walls were dirty
-There was dogs outside barking and making noise ALL night.
-Walls are paper thin
-Not a great location
-The breakfast was bland.
-If you like hot showers, you can forget about it, just warm.

Very thai. Staff is ok. Breakfast is poor and more for the Asian clientele then western. Its hard to say whats wrong with it, we just did not feel comfortable and moved out after 2 nights.

Poor Location

Hotel was some distance away from the town, the staff were less than helpful arranging any transportation, would rather send you out to the main road to hail a taxi or tuk tuk. On Sunday this was practically impossible to find and i ended up walking about 2 miles before i found one.

Good Bargain Hotel, Skip the Massage (maybe).

This place is great for the price, rooms are good if not the cleanest and beds are comfortable enough. Its certainly not a five star hotel, but it has a pool, a gym and a great breakfast buffet! Taxis have a little trouble finding it, and it is not in the downtown area but fairly close. Be aware if you get a massage, however, the masseuse offered a happy ending and didn't seem to pleased when we declined (because you pay extra, not because she desperately wanted to... I imagine). So maybe pass on the massage... unless, you know, that's you're thing.

chambre poussiéreuse / drap avec tache a l'arrivée dans la chambre / salle de bain inondée quand on prend une douche / petit déjeuner buffet uniquement asiatique pas de lait ni céréales pour les enfants , distribution d'eau du robinet ayant donné une gastro-entérite a mes enfants de 6 et 8 ans / accueil parlant tres mal l'anglais / pas de serviette autour de la piscine / aucune Securite sur les bouches d'aspiration de la piscine tres dangereux / personnel qui communique dans les couloirs avec des talkies walkies des 7h / bruit de tuyauterie dės 5 h du matin incessant provoquant réveil (chambre 2222 au dessus des cuisines ) / hôtel excentré du centre ville / rapport qualité prix médiocre

Nie wieder Pangviman Resort!!

fuer Europaer voellig ungeeignet. Keiner spricht englisch, Personal sehr unfreundlich, Hotel abgewohnt, sehr schmutzig, Betten total hart, das schlechteste Fruehstueck das wir je bekamen, nur asiatische Speisen, kein schwarzer Tee, keine Milch, viel zu weit vom Zentrum entfernt!!
gibt um das Geld weitaus bessere Hotels in viel guenstiger liegen

Séjour a chiang mai

Hôtel avec des taies d oreiller un peu sales , très bruyant et internet qui se coupe à une heure du matin.il serait bien si les plats changeaient pour le buffet du petit déjeuner et pas de jus d'orange au petit déjeuner. De plus on avait une chambre pour 3 personnes et une autre pour une seule personne et on nous a fait paye un extra bed alors qu on a réservé pour 4 .
L extra bed avait un matelas très fin donc pour dormir un cauchemar et il y avait plein de moustiques dans la chambre.
Cependant personnel souriant .

1. Location - bad location for traveling to old town or Nimman. If you stay this hotel, this mean, you have to pay at least 200THB for taxi.

2. Crew - They cannt speack English, and very impolite. I can speak and understand Thai but they chafed by Thai themselves in front of me. Beside, one of crew, she pitched her mobile on the desk.

3. Room - Room was big and simple, but house keeper just changed bed sheet. In the wastebasket, waste was.

โรงแรมอยู่บนถนนเชียงใหม่-ลำพูน ใกล้ตลาดช้างม่อย มีรถผ่านเยอะ แต่พนักงานไม่มาล้างห้องน้ำ กวาดห้องพัก แค่ดึงที่นอน และเก็บขยะ

ナイトバザールからは、離れているが、静かで落ち着いたホテル。

ﾁｪﾝﾏｲ着が、深夜だったので、空港からタクシーで行った。１６０Ｂだった。ナイトバザールからは、歩いて３０分ぐらいかかるが、静かでノンビリ過ごすにはよい。朝食も、ビュッフェ形式で料理の品数も多く、十分満足できた。ホテル料金も大変リーズナブルだったので、また機会があれば、利用したいと思っている。

ผมเดินทางไปพักกับภรรยา2คน เราเช็คอินที่อาคาร2(อาคารใหม่) แต่ถูกส่งไปพักที่อาคาร1ที่อยู่ติดกัน เห็นพนักงานชาย2 คนนั่งคุยกันหน้าอาคารคอยโบกรถเข้าออกไม่สนใจใคร ส่วนในอาคาร2 ไม่มีพนักงานคอยให้ความช่วยเหลือเลย หากใครจะไปพักขอแนะนำให้พักที่อาคาร2

長く滞在するには最適でしょう

旧市街から少し離れていますが。たいへん静か環境で移動の足さえ確保できるのであればコストパフォーマンスの大変良いホテルではないかと思われます。朝食メニューも一見定番の料理が並ぶようですが、毎日少しづつ変わります、例えばカレーも赤、白、グリーンと変わりますし他のメニューも材料が少しずつ味付けも少しずつ変わります。旅先の豪華な朝食を望まないのであればこの価格では十分だと思います。

อยากให้ปรับปรุงในส่วนของ ระเบียบของการเข้าห้องพักส่วนมากจะเป็นนักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาติอยากจะให้มีติดประกาศให้เป็นทั้งภาษาไทยและภาษาอังกฤษ ส่วนใหญ่ชาวต่างชาติบางกลุ่มจะเสียงดังรบกวนห้องอื่นๆที่เขากำลังพักผ่อนอยู่ ส่วนห้องนำ้อยากให้ปรับปรุงในส่วนของฝักบัวเหมือนจะไม่ค่อยดีเท่าไรที่ผมพักห้องน้ำไม่ค่อยสะอาด มีคราบตามซอกกระเบื้องห้องน้ำ อย่างอื่นดีหมด
