Great location. Family friendly. Staffs are helpful. Right across from airport bus except we arrived late and too tired to figure out the bus from Haneda airport so just took a cab. Cab ride at 10:30p in Japan is considered “peak hour” so paid closer to $13,000 yen which is about $80 USD.

Breakfast is very simple continental with pastries and cereal for optional $1000 Yen. We just skipped it and ate at Soba noodle shop steps about for $800 yen. Much better.

Really liked the drink machine open all day and late hours when we returned to our hotel after long day out.

Overall. I would definitely stay here again. Staffs are very friendly. Small boutique hotel vibe and very fast Internet.

This hotel is a great value; The location is pretty good, you can walk to Tokyo station and it's right in the middle of everything. Our room felt spacious; Staff in the front was accommodating and good. Some of the notes I have and hence 4/5:
- It seems there's a lot of people coming to this hotel because it is central and affordable, so the elevators sometimes is completely full, I was on the 7th floor and I had to wait for a couple of elevators to come down.
- On the morning, they transform a part of the lobby area for \"breakfast\" but that basically prevents you from using the good coffee machine, you are left with the instant coffee option and hot water, I didn't like this.
- Our bathroom smelled like piss and in general bathrooms and in many places in the hotel smelled like piss; maybe they should pay attention to this on bathrooms or there's something going on with the sewers.

Only negative is just no place to put luggage in the room and very little counter space in the sink area for toiletries. A minor inconvenience which pales in comparison to the value the property provides.

The Karaksa Hotel at Tokyo Station Yaesu is a solid budget hotel in a great location for a great price. The staff were very welcoming and helpful in getting our bearings down when we arrived and the amenities available were very much appreciated; there's a table in the lobby that offers up hand towels, various toiletries, a lot of extras you can pick up for your room daily.

The hotel itself is located across the street from Tokyo Station's Yaesu side (northeast area) which is also where the buses from the airport (Friendly Airport Limousine and Keikyu Kyuho Bus lines) station and arrive. We took the Airport Limousine bus from Narita to Tokyo Station and then it's a few minutes walk across the street to get to the hotel, very convenient. There's restaurants all around the area, even a 7-11 around the corner for late night snacks.

Really enjoyed our stay there, we basically needed a hotel where we could get back to at night, wash up and sleep, and then head out the next day and the Karaksa fit the bill perfectly. Definitely will be staying there again!

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Location was amazing. Easy walk to Tokyo Station making our train travel to Hakone less stressful. Also a few minutes from the Ginza line. Breakfast was fresh and snack during the evening was a bonus. Also drinks available until the late evening as well. Toiletries provided and shampoo and conditioner and soap was a nice quality. Clean pajamas were laid out every night. Staff was very helpful and incredibly nice.

Housekeeping is very minimal and hotel has stated a rule for more detailed housekeeping (namely changing of bedsheets and washing of shower area) would require front desk to be informed b4 9 am that day. The basic housekeeping is just cleaning of floor, changing of towels, disposal of garbage and basic tidying of bedsheets.

What I found not accepting was, my stray hairs that were on the counter top next to the sink remained there for the entire duration I was there, since it’s not covered under their housekeeping tasks. Some stray hairs stuck to the legs of the chairs also remained stuck there for days. Tissue papers accidentally dumped on the floor between the single beds also remained there for days.

Toilet definitely not washed during the duration I was there. And also the shower floorboard made of probably plastic, already some certain spots damaged, hence they looked dirty or badly maintained.

Overall I really love the hotel location and how warm the front desk staff were, even the room size being small was ok to me since Japanese hotel rooms are typically small, but it’s just the housekeeping part putting me off n makes me doubtful whether I would stay there next time.

We stayed at Karaksa Hotel Tokyo Station for one night at the beginning of our Japan trip, and it was an excellent choice for a short stay.

The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location. It is an easy walk from Tokyo Station, which made arrival day much less stressful after a long international flight. We were able to get from the station to the hotel quickly with luggage and begin exploring the area right away.

Our family of four appreciated the room layout. Having four separate beds provided plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably, which can be difficult to find in Tokyo hotels. The room was clean, quiet, and well suited for families.

Although we only stayed one night, the surrounding neighborhood was very convenient. There were several convenience stores within a short walk, making it easy to pick up drinks, snacks, and any travel necessities. We also enjoyed taking a late-night walk to the nearby Tokyo Imperial Palace grounds, which was a peaceful way to experience Tokyo on our first evening.

Overall, Karaksa Hotel Tokyo Station is a practical and family-friendly option with an excellent location, comfortable rooms, and easy access to both Tokyo Station and nearby attractions. We would gladly stay here again for an arrival or departure night in Tokyo.

The best feature of this hotel was its location!!! It’s literally across the station from Tokyo Station, which worked out excellent for our Narita Express train to the airport!!! It is algo great location for shopping and restaurants since Tokyo Station has a whole underground city!!! Space in the room was tight however it accommodated four adults comfortably!!! Staff was awesome and very helpful locating the baggage we shipped from Kyoto. They also provided umbrellas which came very handy for the Typhoon that hit us one of two days we stayed. I would recommend this hotel to any travelers that want a clean and convenient place near Tokyo Station!!!

We we're first taken a back at the size of the room, we had three twin beds with two adults and two young kids, but quickly realized that the hotel was set up to be very functional. The two main beds were tall enough to easily fit luggage underneath to keep them out of the way. Having a toilet in a separate area was really useful and there is plenty of lighting to keep the room bright. Next time, I would ask for a room facing the main street, the back rooms are right behind another building (within an arms reach) pretty much eliminating natural light in the room.

The staff were super friendly and very accommodating. The amenities were useful, with additional amenities available in the lobby whenever you need it (e.g. new hairbands). We also appreciated the all day coffee and soda machine.

The area is super convenient, located just 5 minutes outside of Tokyo station and another 6 minutes from Nihombashi station. The 7-Eleven and Family Mart are close and great for snacks. Would happily stay here again

I’ve stayed in a lot of small hotel rooms in Japan but nothing as small as this one. In our Hollywood Twin room there was not any space in to open a suitcase besides the bed or the floor right in front of the door. No shelves go put your things on. No bedside tables. Barely any space to move around the bed. And you can’t even store the suitcase under the bed.

On top of that, you can’t use the coffee machine in the morning unless you have a breakfast voucher, even though you can use it at night for free, for some reason.

For the price, very bad value.

This hotel was perfect for our family vacation to Tokyo. Nestled in between two of the main train stations, travel to anywhere in Japan was a breeze. The room was a good size for a family of four. The breakfast was substantial enough to keep us full until lunch time(and had options for our picky eater!). The staff was very helpful with booking a taxi to the airport on our way home. We had everything we needed and it was a wonderful home base for our first trip to Tokyo.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms are small, with no storage space for large suitcases, but the beds are very comfortable and the separate areas for shower/toilet are a great idea. The location is great and the hotel is easy to find. If you are coming from an airport, it is basically across the street from the limousine bus stop at Tokyo Station. I also wanted to note that the rooms are very quiet, we couldn't hear our neighbors or any outside noises.
