The room itself was clean and fine but it is a rather dated facility. One of our cooking pots and a salad bowl had not been cleaned and something was very burnt on to it. The WiFi was also rather weak. Free parking and an extra hour on checkout was appreciated. The hotel is very walkable to everything as well.

Good location but that was about where the good ended.. Was overpriced, dirty, curtains hanging off walls, bed was one that pulls down from the wall with thin mattress and wasn’t attached to the wall properly so bed banged against the wall with every movement. Room was huge so not sure why they didn’t have a normal bed.. Toilet seat was delaminating, floor tiles were cracked and broken, the kitchen bench had burn marks all over it and was dirty. Floor was dirty and towels looked like they hadn’t been replaced in 20 years. Both the couch and chairs had no sponge left so stay was very uncomfortable. Stayed for 4 nights and all house keeping did was empty my bin.. I was traveling for business and won’t be back..

Negatives were that when I used the laundry the amounts quoted for the washer & dryer were not clear about what coins to use. I had to clean a huge amount of lint from the dryer before using it. The shower had a combined body wash & hair wash as one which did not work.

The heater was noisy and inadequate. The grounds were dirty. Lights around the outside halls didn't all work leaving areas dark. It is in a convenient location but is hard to identify from the street ehen looking for the place.

Victoria Court was perfect for our short stay for a concert in the city centre. It is clean, comfortable and convenient - very handy to Cuba Street, which we love. We’ve given it an overall 4 rather than 5 because, compared to some hotels/motels, it’s more homely than fancy, but the price was very good and it suited our needs perfectly. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was great. The room was dated, especially the bathroom. Cleanliness wasn't a factor. The shower head was covered in line scale and the vent hadn't been cleaned in a very long time, the window latches were broken and blinds falling apart. There was also hair all through the carpet of the entire unit. This was supposed to be an executive suite, but they didn't service it, the towels were mismatched and the 'complimentary' soap and shampoo etc was an all in one dispenser which also hadn't been cleaned. Would stay again for the parking and location only and definitely wouldn't pay for a room upgrade..

This property was clean and tidy. Centrally located, it is close to Cuba Street and within walking distance to other popular Wellington sights. Beds were a little firm but fine for 3 nights. Linen was clean. Rooms fresh. Grout in bathroom was discoloured (as others mentioned) and could do with a whitening product, though the spa bath and shower worked very well with excellent pressure and everything was very clean. A mini kitchen was stocked with basic utensils, toaster & kettle, pots & elements mini fridge. All in all I feel I got very good value for money here and we will stay again the next time we visit Wellington. Check in and check out was easy. Parking outside was on a hill but we managed with a Highlander. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Stained curtains falling off tracks, light in sitting area flickered then eventually worked, chipped hand basin in bathroom, grout in bathroom mouldy, walls have been painted once - long ago, and now have multiple marks and small areas of damage. We booked this place as we pulled into Wellington, 5 minutes before getting to it. Not quite like the photos but no extra cost to park the car. Very walkable we were only there the single night before moving on. More than happy. Real value for money as we got a 2 bedroom unit for the 3 of us.

This is absolutely central Wellington, it is so easy to walk around, it is safe (a gated parking area) and the parking is very good (I had a large ute). There is a supermarket within 5 minutes walk, multiple eateries in the Cuba street precinct literally just around the block. Excellent checkin, so easy, friendly and helpful.
