First time in Boston and the staff were super helpful and informative about different ways of travel including specific apps to download. Stayed there for a show at TD Garden and it was very helpful to have Chelsea Station right by our hotel to get to TD Garden quickly, safely, and for only a couple bucks each way.

Complimentary shuttle service is welcomed to and from the airport. The drivers are courteous. However, you need to call and request a pickup. Plan on waiting 20 minutes unless by chance they are already there. My room was clean and quiet.

A couple of helpful tips: Across the street is a terrific large grocery store called Market Basket. It's huge. They have a large selection of prepared foods if you are tired and don't wish to hunt a restaurant up. They have a cafeteria where you line up and tell the employees what you want to take away. They have a nice selection of travel size toiletries and a huge selection of drug store items. There are only 2 restaurants I saw near the hotel: A Mexican restaurant and a 5 Guys Burger place. There is a small expensive convenience area next to the lobby. Of course everything is expensive as it is a convenience area. But, in a pinch you chalk it up as part of your holiday. The only improvement would be the breakfast. It's not up to Hampton Inn standards more like a 2 star budget motel (like Red Roof Inn) They had no fruit today at all, must have run out. I was there early. The day before only apples and oranges. It's not the best but the ladies were nice and seemed to do what was required. Lobby staff were all good.

All the friends I was visiting had not nice things to say about Chelsea but after seeing where the hotel was, they had to eat crow. Seemed perfectly safe and fine, conveniently located to the T and groceries/strip mall. Clean, quiet, affordable (in comparison to the rest of Boston) with an airport shuttle. All boxes checked. Would absolutely stay again next time I need a quick stay before flying out.

Clean hotel, seems like a safe area. Easy to park. Breakfast was just okay, but a nice area to just hang out and eat and watch tv.
My big complaint is I chose this hotel because it was close to the hospitals for me to have surgery, we had the do not disturb on the door and one of the cleaning crew came in anyway at 10 in the morning, i jumped out of bed, and she asked if i was checking out?! Very uncomfortable. I did speak with the desk and they said they would speak to the staff

I had a three night stay here.

when i first arrived i began unpacking. i noticed dust and dirt as i was unpacking so i took a wipe and wiped everything down. the shower had mold and remnants from the last guests. i continued cleaning the room.

when i went to put ice in the ice bucket, there was a large mold bloom on the lid of the ice bucket.

the next day, when the hotel checked in with me, i told them about my issues with the room and sent a picture of the ice bucket lid. they asked what i would like to do (they did offer for me to switch rooms but i was fully unpacked and hoped it would be an easy solution). I asked for just an ice bucket replacement.

when i got back to my room later that night, the beds had been fully stripped of bedding but not made up again, my towels were missing without replacements, and they had thrown my pajamas on the floor.

i called the front desk asking for new bedding, and explained the situation. the front desk brought up new bedding for me to make my bed, but when i went to put the duvet insert into the cover, i noticed the front desk had brought me two mattress pads instead of a mattress pad and a duvet insert. I called down and the front desk first tried to convince me that it was in fact a duvet insert and then told me that was all they had. by the time i left even management was trying to convince me the mattress pad was a blanket when i had just made
my own bed so i knew the difference.

this place is awful. i left in tears.

I stayed here waiting for a flight the next morning. Very clean property and good communication with check in staff. My only issue is that I was sick with the shingles when I arrived and needed to turn the heat up, but they have it locked and preset not to go over 76 which is ridiculous for how cold the climate is in Massachusetts. That made my shingles extra painful. The hotel staff did provide additional blankets but it’s not the same as the room being warm. I will stay again, during the summer months only.

The only complaint I have is the room we were in. It was beside a truck company that makes noise at night and early mornings. And I can even smell the exhaust from the trucks. If we were on the other side of the hotel, I more likely have rested better.

I like the convenience of where it is located however we did have a problem with checking in. We were sent to our room however it had not been cleaned yet and tgen we had to wait a while for a different room that was on the 3rd floor not main level and very far away plus it was smaller than the room I had booked. The time before when we stayed it was absolutely fine though. Just a tad disappointed with this stay.

The staff is very friendly and they offer a shuttle to the airport and a metro station, which was very useful. They agreed to keep our suitcases during the day before check in so we could go sightseeing without having to carry our luggage. Breakfast was very good, and it included warm waffles and cheese omelets. In the bedroom the heater was a bit noisy but other than that our stay was great!

The thinnest walls of any hotel ever. The person in the room next to me was coughing all night and it sounded like they were in bed with me, the Harlem Globetrotters decided to hold a midnight practice in the room above mine, seriously the loudest I've ever heard a hotel be, it was insanity. The crew running the shuttle were nice, the girl at the front desk was sweet and very helpful, but just a nightmare of a stay

I enjoyed my stay at the Hampton Inn at Chelsea. The shuttle driver gave helpful directions on how to use the Boston trains and busses. The room was comfortable and the breakfast had lots of choices. I don't eat dairy products and they didn't offer any other alternatives.
Other than that everything was great.

The Front staff member who checked us in was exceedingly kind and helpful (listened to her take care of another customer) before helping us. She let us know of their pet amenities, which I hadn't known before - so helpful. Place was clean, bed was firm. Room was spacious as was the bathroom. Definitely well cared for. Staff were very friendly and professional. Rooms were clean and tight. Breakfast was very appetizing and tasty. I did not appreciate paying $30/day for parking. No security, no cover of the vehicles. Park at your own risk. I also did not appreciate paying for two (2) rooms ($700) in advance, only to have to pay a deposit of $200. I was told the deposit is standard policy and it would go back into my account after 72 hours. Company policy is not a reason for doing this. The company website does not explain why this is being done. There is no justification. Especially since the rooms were paid for in advance. Other than that, the facility and team members were excellent.

Room was clean, but bed was very uncomfortable needs to be replaced. Breakfast was supposed to be open at six and the person getting it ready was late so that things did not get out for 6 o’clock. We had to get the shuttle so we had to hurry and eat breakfast. We ordered to go bags and they gave them to someone else so we didn’t have any. The guy at the desk tried to put some things together for us, but it was just a waffle and nothing else.

The staff were great. We had questions about how to get around on the subway and was given a map and explained what lines to get on and even circled things for us. The shuttle actually took us to the subway station for free! The free airport shuttle was amazing. I was told to call after we got our luggage and I did and in about 15 min the shuttle was there. I Would recommend this hotel.
