The only downside to the property is it’s off a busy 2 lane highway and hard to get out of because it was so busy.

My room had been updated, but it was not cleaned after the first night. THe lobby area is somewhat univiting, and the furnishing are very dated. The airport shuttle is excellent, frequent and on time and runs throughout the night. BUIT, the surrounding area if not at all pleasant, in sharp contrast to the city itself. I would not have tried to take an evening (or even a morning constitutional) walk in the area.

Wonderful shuttle service to/from airport. Food for dinner in the onsite restaurant was barely edible but the service was great and the alcohol generously poured. Breakfast was complimentary and much appreciated Overall I will be back!

First, the initial room we were assigned had a major issue, the carpet was completely soaked due to a leak from the air conditioning. We only discovered this after settling in, which was quite inconvenient. To their credit, the front desk responded promptly when we reported it and moved us to another room.

Second, I was surprised by the parking situation. The hotel charges $30 per night for on-site parking, which was not clearly disclosed during booking. On Expedia, it appeared as free self-parking, so this added an unexpected $90 to our total stay.

Additionally, the pool was not clean, so we avoided using it. This was disappointing, as one of the reasons we chose this hotel was to enjoy the pool during our stay.

The shuttle service they offer is was unreliable getting picked up from the airport (45-50 minute wait) and then upon getting to the hotel we were cut off mid check in by some lady who clearly was distressed and seemed to be on something, yelling profanities and stomping around the lobby saying she lost her phone. She was not a guest there but was in communication with the staff, and we ran into her multiple times throughout our stay. Very unprofessional in my opinion. After we finally were able to check in (they told us the day before early check in would be available, when we arrived it wasn’t and we had to wait even longer after waiting for the shuttle for 45-50 minutes in the cold) we had some difficulties because the room was incorrect and we had to go get the key sorted, which then turned out to be the key to a room that wasn’t even clean so we had to go back down to the lobby a third time to get it fixed. We were left stranded at the train station for almost an hour on Saturday night waiting for the shuttle to get us (we didn’t get pick up till almost MIDNIGHT, and we watched them drive right by after calling to request) and then in the morning we were supposed to have a shuttle back to the airport at 4AM for our 530 flight. The driver walked by without saying anything to us and wasn’t leaving on time so we ended up getting an Uber last minute to get us there on time. Overall it was just a lot of inconsistencies and not something I want to deal with in the future.

Reception staff completely useless. Serious poor attitude.

Have no independent thought and unhelpful.
They can only follow a script repeating themselves with no regard to actually giving any assistance.

The hotel itself is fine but location is not great combined with the poor desk staff I advise avoid the hotel and stay somewhere else.

Kind and helpful front desk staff. The desk clerk helped me with an issue I was experiencing. The overall condition of the property is decent. It’s an older property and can use renovations, but at least the bathrooms have been updated. Not a bad place if you need a quick stay by the airport.

Great location and proximity to the city of Boston. Parking was never an issue as there were always spots available, and to our convenience the gate was always open. However, the first floor bathroom was not always clean. This is the one across from the fitness center. Also, when we requested our room to be cleaned one day it was not cleaned when we returned. Overall, we had a good experience and I would stay there again.

Biggest complaint is charging $30 a day to keep my car on property . It’s not fair I pay over $200 a night and my car should be included not charge the guest more money . Their parking is used as a business for other cars not guests but residents paying to park there but the guest it should be free

Another issue was difficulty in contacting the hotel for pick up at Wood Island,so we mostly used UBER or went to Beach mont and walked the mile or so to the hotel.

This hotel is a perfect option given its proximity to Logan Airport. The hotel is very clean. The beds are very comfortable. I was worried it was going to be loud when I first arrived because there was a lot of people in the lobby. However, I did not hear a thing when I was in my room. It was completely quiet. I did not even hear a toilet flush or a shower being used.

Hotel is ideal for transport to Logan airport. We stayed for marathon for a week. Although they give you a free transfer bus to local train station and collect you it is time consuming. There are no local shops for food. You have to walk up one side of highway then down the other to go up the street which is almost directly opposite where there are two shops, Target and Stop n Shop a good 25-35 min walk. Breakfast is limited to cereal, make your own waffles, toast, a bit of fruit and three cooked items. Everything is disposable plates, plastic cutlery etc. served 6am - 10am. No evening options.
The room was clean and although they said we had to ask for it to be done daily our room was serviced daily without us asking. Plenty of towels and coffee replenished. Room was quite hot but had air con but was too noisy to have on at night. Staff were excellent, always ready to help. Bus drivers always helpful with people's baggage and drove sensibly. Surrounding area is more like an industrial estate.
If you want cost effective and don't mind the daily transfer into Boston then it's ideal. If you want luxury then pay the extra and stay in Boston.
If you want somewhere to lay your head for an event then ideal, if you want a holiday then probably not for you as people can be heard arriving and leaving for airport at all hours... It served our needs.

Only 2 issues that were more minor than anything - the employee when checking in seemed a bit annoyed, maybe because it was almost 1 am when we finally arrived, and getting the shuttle from the airport was difficult (no one answered the phone and we had no way of knowing when it would arrive)

This hotel gets a lot of use and it shows. The lobby, bar, and breakfast areas are worn and dirty. The booth seats in the breakfast area are permanently filthy. My room was clean enough.
There is no on site restaurant so you’ll have to jay-walk across a busy divided road to reach the two walkable restaurants, or a ten minute Uber to get to some other restaurants.

The room was marked as 2 beds and had 1 with a sofa. The staff was able to change the room quickly. The building (esp the elevator) is old, but the room was spacious and updated. They offer an airport shuttle every 20 minutes, which is really convenient! Breakfast was on par with other hotels, and complimentary. It was perfectly adequate for a night before our flight.

The hotel was loud, you can hear everything and anything inside and out. One of the elevators were out of order which made a long wait to get to your room. The shuttle was full at 3am, and the staff wasnt very friendly.

We had a great stay at the Hampton Inn Boston Logan Airport. My daughter had an early morning flight, and this location made the whole process stress-free. It’s close to Target for anything you might forget, and getting to and from the airport was quick and easy. Highly recommend for anyone traveling out of Logan!

The property is a bit dated and missing items like bottled water in the room, no usb outlets for iPhone wires, no barrel in the bathroom, phone tabs do not work like calling housekeeping or the front desk. But, excellent shuttle service, safe, comfortable and mostly quiet.

Was very nicely appointed and clean. The only minor comment would be that the restaurant staff didn’t seem super friendly. He wasn’t rude, but was efficient etc, just that maybe he didn’t want to be there that day. Loved the convenience of the shuttle and the friendliness of front desk staff. Breakfast was hot and fresh! Would recommend!!

Moldy Orange on the snack tray - that made us concerned the room had not have been checked or cleaned in a while!

Location was great for the airport, shuttle was handy once we worked out where to get it from on arrival as it wasn’t clear. The driver did drop us at the car rental area after we asked a couple times and relayed that when asked at reception, they had said that was fine/standard, but he only wanted to take people to one specific terminal due to traffic and have everyone make their way to other terminals from terminal A.

Breakfast was ok, I particularly like the waffle makers at Hampton properties. The coffee was hot and they had a lot of options.

mostly, the stay was great.
Except for the free shuttle from the airport. I called 5 times to request a shuttle pickup - starting at 12:17am, and was told that a driver was on the way each time. call number 3, the shuttle driver slowed down at the pickup location, looked me in the eyes, and kept driving.
It took 2 more calls to finally get picked up.
the daytime shuttle drivers were prompt, courteous and friendly. The night shift driver was not.

Rooms were large and spacious and super clean. View was beautiful with all the city lights. Shuttle to and from the airport was free and fantastic. Breakfast options and coffee was available before the posted times… which was a help for our early morning flights. Parking was listed as self-pay which I did not understand means you park it but you do have to pay to park ($30). We opted to take the rental car back early instead of parking and the shuttle bus picked us up from the rental center.

Used the complimentary Airport shuttle to & from, it was very convenient. Room was bigger than expected! I had a King with Couch. Coffee available in room which I used. Very easy to make the coffee. Didn’t use the complimentary soap, lotion, shower gel or hair products available but they smelled wonderful. I have lots of allergies so I carry my own products. Breakfast was amazing! The oatmeal was delicious & I even made my own waffles! I wanted to use the regular bus to get around but I couldn’t locate the stop. Ended up using Lyft & Uber to get to North End. I would definitely stay again. Oh, the night light in Bathroom is very bright… I closed the door but it was still bright.

Room very clean, imparting a 'refreshed feel' after a long journey.
Housekeeping, kitchen and bar staff very friendly, looking as though they are happy in their work. (Reception staff only, tended to be a little stand-offish
Breakfast very good on the Wednesday- maybe because I made it before 9am!
All in all, a very good stay.
Only downside is by location on the highway- not able to walk anywhere on foot (shopping aras on the opposite side)

Upon arrival, I asked to reserve the shuttle very early the next morning. I was told no reservation was necessary because the shuttle runs every 30 minutes. At 1am when my daughter arrived a different front desk person told my daughter the shuttle takes a break between 2am-3am. When I told the young lady that the previous person didn't inform me of the break she proceeded to stick a little paper insert included with the room key that stated the shuttle hours on it. I thought this was very RUDE and unprofessional. I told her I never looked at the insert because I took the first front desk lady at her word. The young lady had the audacity to tell me that the person I had spoke to earlier wouldn't leave that information out, basically calling me a liar. Just by luck my daughter and I were able to catch the 1:30am shuttle because my daughter arrived at the hotel when she did. Additionally, the lobby seemed worn down and dirty. The rooms were clean but there was no microwave or mini fridge. Very unsatisfied with this visit.
