Not bad you get what you pay for I generally have no complaints other than a female staff member BANGING at my door in the morning when I had a late check then had another gentleman comes knocking again with the same exact question but he was very respectful at least he didn’t bang just need to fix the communication between associates

Mentioning this because none of the other reviews did, and I wish we had known how terribly noisy this location is. Rooms are clean and shuttle works fine, but we didn't get any sleep because of the loud road and truck noises right outside our window all night. The room rates are too expensive for such a noisy place.

Airport shuttle was not available after 10 PM when we arrived, so we had to catch an Uber. Also when we left, despite the fact that we reserved the shuttle for the morning, the shuttle driver didn't show up that morning, so the hotel receptionist called a taxi for us and said they would reimburse the taxi cost of $21. But they never did! After arriving home, we called the hotel back to try to claim that $21 credit, nobody even picked up the phone, so we gave up. The hotel was also next to a very busy highway, which means if you have a room on the front, you can't sleep due to constant road noise! We couldn't sleep for 4 nights with road noise. When we finally got a room at the back the road noise was no longer a problem, but the bed was broken. Also the hotel has no escalator, which means you have to lug your luggage up and down stairs yourself. Coffee/tea is only available in the lobby for a few hours in the morning (when we were out), so it's not really useful. All in all, we had a really bad time at this hotel, which spoiled our Boston vacation. We will never come back here.

Not sure sheets were clean. Tiny bathroom that was in desperate need of upgrading. VERY NOISY. Our room faced a very busy highway about 30 feet away. Had to keep AC fan on all night to mask the noise. This place is old and it looked like it. No elevator.

Hotel is Ok but is right on freeway … very noisy. Cost is pretty good for “PRICEY Boston. What is very good is an easy 20 minutes walk to Wonderland LRT station adjacent to the wonderful Revere Beach. This means very, very convenient access to to the Beach, Airport, Harborside and DT Boston. If your hoofing it and want to avoid the $600-$800 inner hotels this can make the Rodeway a very good choice..

Rude and disinterested young girl in reception checked us in. We requested airport shuttle for 4pm the following day - she recorded it as 4am so we got a knock on our door at 3:50am asking if we were ready - not impressed.
Apart from her, the other staff we encountered the following day were more friendly and helpful.
Room was OK - nothing special. Comfortable beds, but generally felt a bit dated.
Really appreciated the free airport shuttle bus which we used for pick-up and drop-off.

Staff was short and not pleasant. I was charged via Expedia and the again by the hotel. The hotel stated they didn’t receive the Expedia charge and I had no other option, so I trusted that to be true. I now have 2 different charges for a hotel experience that was one of the worst I’ve had. There’s no elevator, and the listing says there is an airport shuttle but that’s not actually true. The shuttle is only operating during certain hours so I had to grab an uber to the hotel at 0100 when my plane landed. I then had to go to the airport nearly 2 hours early the next day because they stopped shuttle service for a few hours during the day as well. Beyond frustrating and deceptive.

The shuttle runs every hour but they sent one right away when we arrived & called for pick-up. The rooms are dated. Half the rooms back up to the highway so we heard some traffic noise in the night. No elevators for 2 story building. This room was $80 cheaper than then the next option, but not woth the savings. Front desk staff & drivers were friendly & efficient. No breakfast, just coffee.

Absolute garbage. Guy at check in was high off his head. Couldn't figure out how to use his computer. Room was not the worst. The bed had plastic cover on the mattress, if that tells you anything.
There are major roads on both sides of the hotel. No matter which room you take it'll be loud.

I was on the bottom floor the window had no locks, the blinds wouldn't close and the tv didn't work. The shower smelt like pee. I felt really unsafe about the window not locking so close to the ground I barley slept and the hotel was full so it was that or nothing.

This is a great no frills stay. Short walk (30 min) to Revere beach, we checked in after 7 and I had no safety concerns with the evening walk. Our room was clean, location was noisy (almost directly across from reception) and environmental loud ( motorcycle ripping up and down the roadway). Mattresses could be better. Airport shuttle was on time, kind and courteous.

This place is extremely noisy the walls are paper thin. You can hear every single thing that is going on outside of your. Seriously we could hear footsteps, doors opening and closing, the conversations people were having it was absolutely insane did not get a bit of sleep.
Also the bed mattress are very poor, you could literally feel the wire springs in the mattress. Beds are very squeaky and not stable at all. Beds did not have a mattress cover just a simple fitted sheet.
There is no soap in the shower only shampoo and conditioner.
The lady at check in was nice.
We only stayed here for a few hours as we had an early morning flight leaving out couldn’t imagine being here more than that.
Do yourself a favor and pay the extra money to stay somewhere a little better.

Room smelled like cigarettes no matter how hard I tried to air it out from the time I got there. You can hear anything in the building in your room. Price is extremely high for what you get. Came back after a 12 hr work day and my door lock was deactivated even though I prepaid for a 2 night stay. I do not recommend this place unless they drop their prices to something like $50 a night.

I guess chatting to his friend ….I wouldn’t stay there again… and for $220 I was expecting better rooms… sheets underneath had a plastic sheeting. I guess they’re having bed wetting customers

Keys didn’t work like 3 times. The girl working at the reception desk had to finally give guests a different type of key. The shuttle only goes hourly which is not the best. They have drink machines and they only take $1 bills so we couldn’t buy water because we had $5s. They also charged me an additional $15 as a fee.

No elevators - a bit much for an airport hotel where everyone has luggage.

No dining options inside or nearby. The only food options were vending machines, which were cash only. Hope you have cash on you; the front desk won't give you change. Strictly $1 bills, the machines don't accept any other note, and the coin slots are jammed.

You must bring your own meals. This is a food/shop desert, there is nothing reachable on foot.

The only thing the staff seem to hate more than working there is the customers who stay there. Openly complaining about customers in front of customers. Openly telling customers to go away and stop bothering them when they were busy making personal calls.

This isn't even actually all that near the airport. Just stay somewhere else. The free airport shuttle, and the shuttle driver who was obviously embarrassed that all the other staff were lazy $hits, were the only good things.

Room and bed were an adequate size. All bathroom supplies were half full, i.e. obviously used and unchanged. Maybe bring your own of those too.

DO NOT STAY HERE. This place is way overpriced and has horrible customer service. The free hotel shuttle did not come for almost an hour despite 3 phone calls. The front desk attendant made no effort to help with anything. The requested wake-up call never came. Despite scheduling the departing shuttle the night before and waiting at the appointed time, the shuttle did not pick up on time. Spending the night at the airport would have been better than this place.

The beds were old and we could feel the springs in the mattresses.
There is a shuttle to the airport but it doesn’t run 24 hours! We had to get a taxi to take us to the airport at the time we needed to be there.

The reason for 3 stars was for our driver and the morning desk lady, they were kind. The bed was all it was. Our room was next to a busy road,barely got any sleep. Only one restaurant near by. The vending machine had 5 options, 3 dollars for a bottle of water. Got in after 11pm from flying all day to no food and one bottle of water. I locked in a price and was charged double. They said that it was expedia. My opinion, do not stay there.

Small rooms (but clean) in a shady part of town. Wifi did not work and staff was unable to fix it. The staff was courteous and friendly. There is no place nearby to walk to for breakfast, and staff advised us not to go outside at night for safety reasons. Crazy expensive.

Basic budget hotel, except it is not very inexpensive. Shower was lacking in water pressure, beds were okay but not great, pretty old and run down. Room was in the basement (so called garden level), right next to the noisy road. No dining near. Worked for a short overnight between travel.

I liked that I was greeted kindly and warmly by the woman at the Registration Desk. She answered all my questions, and helped me with a taxi suggestion to the Cruise Port for the next morning. The Rodeway Inn is a very nice place to stay!

The hotel is on a busy highway and my room had windows in the direction of the highway. It was loud. The lights for the hotel shined into my room and there was only a blind to adjust, no curtains. The walls were thin, and it was loud in my room. When the AC turned on, I could not hear the TV. When the AC went off the TV was too loud, and the ambient noise settled back in. I did not get a good night's sleep. The airport shuttle was convenient.

No markings at airport for pickup location for van. In 3 hours of waiting no van arrived. Tried to call hotel and no answer 20 times! Had to take $25 cab. No restaurants or food available for either dinner or breakfast. Worst experience with an Expedia recommended hotel.

Wrong phone number on the app. Wasn't able hey able to get a hold of hotel to let them know i was needing a shuttle and i waited over 2 hours at the airport for the shuttle. My first impression was the room was spartan. I usually stay more upscale. However it has been updated. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was superb. I wanted directions for a restaurant. Franklin didn’t think that was safe for an old lady traveling alone to walk - traffic without crosswalks, so he arranged for Claudio to take me to the restaurant and pick me up when I was done. The staff couldn’t have been more responsive. The desk clerk when I arrived the night before suggested delivery of food. She wasn’t sure I should walk that busy route either. I got a delicious chicken wrap from the pizza restaurant. Everyone I met at this location went beyond his/her job description. Thanks guys!
