The advertised bar is abandoned. Bathroom smelt like cigarettes and each day got worse. On the 2nd day the cleaning lady left a police report of a sexual assault in our room and and a zip lock baggie amelling like weed plus she threw away our reusable bag.

Per the hotel description, I was led to believe that parking was included. However, we were surprised with a $30 fee to self-park our car. I would really have appreciated knowing this in advance as I was especially looking for a hotel with parking included.

The room was nice and the lobby but their was a roach problem I woke up and went to the bathroom and that’s when I saw two roaches my boyfriend killed them but then another one came out so there’s definitely an infestation please be aware if you go there I personally will not be going back I checked out earlier because of it

I had a very pleasant experience in one of their best rooms. However, a guest on the floor above, who was active until late at night, pacing back and forth, seemed to be conspiring against my peace and quiet. It took several calls to Reception to ask him to stop.

I would like to share some concerns regarding my recent stay at your property. While check-in went smoothly and the room itself was comfortable, there were a few incidents that left my family and me quite disappointed.

First, we were looking forward to using the heated pool after breakfast this morning, only to find it closed due to a broken heater. Unfortunately, this information was not disclosed during the reservation process or at check-in. My daughter had already changed into her swimsuit and was very upset to learn that the pool was unavailable.

Secondly, at approximately 10:45 a.m., someone entered our room without knocking while we were in the process of getting dressed to check out. This was an extremely uncomfortable and unacceptable breach of privacy, as we were partially undressed at the time.

On both occasions, I approached the front desk to seek clarification and assistance, but the staff member I spoke with appeared indifferent and dismissive of my concerns. I found this lack of professionalism and empathy very troubling, especially in a hospitality setting where guest experience should be a top priority.

I trust you will look into these matters seriously and address them with your team to ensure that future guests do not encounter similar issues. I would appreciate a response regarding how these situations will be handled and what steps will be taken to prevent them from happening again.

The room is much bigger than normal. The entry brings you directly into the kitchen. The kitchen has a full size frig and a bar counter with two bar stools. We moved the ottoman into the entry so we could sit down to put shoes on. The SL3 bus stop is a short walk from the hotel. You can also take the commuter train to Salem there. There isn’t a ticket kiosk for the bus but you can use your credit card on board with contactless payment. The breakfast is just ok. There is a double closet with plenty of room for hanging clothes. The desk has two outlets and one usb A outlet. The shower is very big with the water control on the opposite wall from the shower nozzle. This allows you to adjust the water without having to step into the shower.

The price per night for the room and parking were very reasonable and affordable. Staff was friendly and helpful and I really appreciated the printouts they left at the front desk with details on traveling to Salem. The free breakfast was high quality. Our only complaint was that the room we had needed a little love. There was a missing knob on the closet door, some peeling paint, basic wear and tear. No exhaust fan in the bathroom.

Pros: Convenient location by the train and bus station. Breakfast was good (bonus points for having a gluten free cereal option). Staff were very friendly.
Cons: Bar/lounge was closed and the pool was closed the whole time (2 amenities we were looking forward to, and were not warned these wouldn’t be available). Window in our room was broken and some of the last guests garbage was left in our room.
Overall a decent experience. Could have been better, could have been worse.

I love this hotel. I stay here about twice a year in october and December and it never disappoints. It's clean the staff is amazing very friendly and helpful (A huge shout out to Dave and Joanna on second shift they are the best of the best). Breakfast has a lot to offer option wise and is stocked and cleaned regularly. The rooms are spotless and houskeeping is there for anything you may need. The train to Salem and Boston is right outside the door. Right by the train is a shopping center with TJ Maxx and grocery. Chelsea Station Grill is an amazing dining option as well. I wouldn't stay anywhere else when visiting Boston.

location by train and highway and was very noisy would recommend earplugs for sleeping. We had suite and main bed was great but pull out is very springy and uncomfortable
Location is close to silver line and purple train so transit ( 3 -4 min walk ) takes a bit more time than in the city but is very doable and great uber pick up
They were flexible and allowed late check up which was much appreciated

Loved with the exceptions we asked for a comforter two times for the pull out couch. We received each time a paper thin worn out coverlet and two flat sheets. I have been to many hotels where a spare set of equal type comforters as the main bed was available with a set of sheets and spare pillows packaged in the hall closet. The second is the pullout couch mattress was beyond uncomfortable; thin and you could feel each spring. These were the only downsides. Breakfast was great and it was so convenient to the train station.

I would highly recommend the Marriott over the Hilton! Marriott puts the clients needs to make it a more luxurious stay.

I rated 4 stars. I love that theres a kitchenette in the room complete with dishes, a sink, dishwasher, full size fridge, microwave and mini stove and supplies to use it all. I definitely took advantage of that. For the most part my room was very clean, except for a towel that was supposed to have been clean but had visible stains on it, and some weird looking orange stuff that i saw in the shower and on the bed headboard. Im assuming it was cleaning solution but who knows. And the counch was a little tattered, it had many visible threads hanging off the bottom of it. Other than that i would say the room and the building itself was very clean, i saw housekeeping moving about regularly. All the desk staff were very friendly and attentive and answered my questions. There was an alarm going off in one of the rooms and a guest decided to smoke cigarettes in their room which leaked into mine and when i called down to complain they handled it immediately.

One thing i didnt like was the complimentary breakfast. Frankly none of the cooked food tasted good except the hardboiled eggs and potatoes. Everything else i couldnt really stomach. Overall i would still stay again if i had to. Its in a great location, very quick walk to the train and buses, also a grocery store and shopping center. Close to downtown boston and the airport.

No one from Housekeeping visited us for 3 days. We had ordered food sent to our room but failed to finish it. By the third day, the leftovers started to emit an unpleasant odor. No fresh towels for 3 days. After notifying the management, the situation was rectified and we received an envelope requesting a tip for outstanding service. We were unhappy.

We had to stay at the hotel for a few days. One day, we saw a mouse run from a cabinet to under the dishwasher. They moved us to another room. But, on day 3 there we noticed cockroaches and bed bugs all over the room. So glad to leave. There were no apologies. So disappointed. Never have I had such an experience with any of their properties

The room itself was impressive but on further inspection, a bit rundown. The bathroom door has some weird markings on it, like the hotel tore something off the door but never proceeded to fix the ugliness of it. Also, the tub was VERY slow in draining as we took showers. To me that is gross & they never resolved it. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice. It was great to have the living room area in a different location than in the room area. We also had a small kitchenette with many utensils and glasses/mugs.

Chelsea, MA felt like home away from home!

Really wonderful place! On a personal note l would have preferred a bathtub but l know that’s not the norm. Our fridge made a plunking noise that l assumed was the ice maker and l turned it off; but it continued. My 74 yo husband would have liked to have an attraction guide in the room but that’s old school. I think 30 dollars for parking is pretty steep because we stayed 6 nights. Maybe consider a discount? Beds were very comfy and we liked that we could open the windows.

For the money, we could have done better. First room had a broken sink and the safe did not work. They were fast to switch our room, however, the safe did not work in there either. Housekeeping was non existent over our 4 night stay.. we had to get our own towels and coffee everyday from the front desk, and make our own beds. Nothing was terrible, it just was overpriced for what it was.

During my arrival at approximately noon, I experienced what I believe was unprofessional treatment during the check-in process. The front desk representative, Diana, initially informed me that no rooms were available. However, moments later, she was able to accommodate the guest who arrived after me. This disparity in treatment became evident when that same guest, noticing the situation, requested that Diana assist me as well. Only following this intervention was a room suddenly made available for my stay.
In the interest of full disclosure, I have concerns that this differential treatment may have been influenced by racial factors, as I observed that both the subsequent guest and the front desk representative appeared to share a similar light complexion. This experience was professionally disheartening and not reflective of the standard of service I would expect from your establishment.

Best hotel stay ever!!!

My recent stay at this gotel was great! The room was quiet, calm and comforting, i loved the decor whicb was quiet soothing. Ot had a kitchen and utensils which was very important for our family. I also enjoyed the gym, was so busy and didn't get to use the pool though. As per the cleaning, it was great, with fresh towels every other day, just don't know what happened with the last cleaning a day before i left, whoeve did the cleaning did not vacuum the room, there was dirt everywhere. But nevertheless it was a great stay at thai hotel,! Will do it again if i am in Boston!

Good if you are not afraid of cockroaches

2 nights there for the Boston Marathon. Great location close to the train to Boston centre (10'). Great room with a well equipped kitchen. I read the reviews and they were quite good. Nobody mentioned cockroaches 😱. We had them in the room. We told the reception after we saw them, they offered us to change room. We didn't accept because if they are in a room, they are everywhere and we already spent a night. They didn't offer a money compensation 😔. Too bad.

Pull out couch had stains on them. There was old rice grains and soap scum in the sink, there was a cigarette and dirty pool water smell in the room and the dresser was dusty. The staff in the morning was very rude gave me an attitude and when i asked her to watch the way she spoke to me she raised her voice and told me to watch my to tone and that she was matching my energy in that moment i grabbed my things and left and was absolutely disgusted!

The room was very spacious. It had a nice set up. The kitchen was nice and had a couple pots and pans as well as enough dishes for 4 people.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. My daughter cut her toe and they gave her a fun kids bandaid with dinosaurs on it.
The breakfast was amazing. A good variety of food and tasted good.
Its location was a few minutes walk to public transit.
