There was no shampoo or conditioner in the top area. We called to have them replenished, and the service person filled the shampoo only… The drain on the bathtub was partially plugged, leaving us standing in about 3 inches of water while taking a shower. And the beds were not very comfortable. We will probably not stay there again.

I was greeted by the staff at reception and they were wonderful. There was two negative issues. The room heater was extremely loud so we didn't get much sleep. The water pressure in the shower can be best described as \"a strong trickle\".

Front desk staff was lovely. Construction began at 6am right outside (not the hotel’s fault) right after the alarm clock in the room went off at 6AM (I didn’t set it). I finally fell back asleep just before 8AM to then be woken up by banging on the door by housekeeping. Checkout wasn’t until noon. Most unpleasant stay in Boston I’ve had. Shower needed a deep clean like no other. Pretty gross.

Hotel does not look like the photo on the site. Definitely a little disappointing. I received an email to ask if I wanted to upgrade to a higher level, but the only view from the higher level is the Massachusetts General Hospital, not the city.

Stay was ok. Rooms dated. Staff it seemed were just there to do their job and not make your stay wonderful. Parking was $65/day. Says 6 min walk to TD Garden online but it's more like 15. Lots of construction outside during our stay and very noises. No breakfast included. Definitely better options out there.

Upon check in I was greeted nicely by the staff at the front desk. My room on the other hand was another story. The heating and cooling system sounded like an airplane was taking off/landing. It was so loud that I turned it off before going to bed. I could barely hear the television unless I turned it up really loud. My television reception was terrible, only a few channels would play without glitching. The toilet in the restroom was not properly bolted down. When I sat on it, it would lift from the floor. Too much money paid for an outdated room.

Place is badly in need of update. Room appeared clean, but bathroom could have been cleaner, and film on wood surfaces left bad impression. Mattress was the worst I’ve slept on in some time. No channel guide or hotel restaurant menus available in the room, save for a worn/stained piece of copy paper with links.

This is a great hotel for short stay. The entire staff from the bellman, front desk, restaurant all provided excellent customer service. The rooms were clean, bathroom was clean. I only gave it 4-stars because there were some cracks in the ceiling that were a little concerning and the elevator floor in the back didn't feel safe. Overall it's a great place to stay.

I had difficulty with accessing my room. It turned out the battery was defective on the key reader. The staff were very friendly and helpful but it was a frustrating situation requiring three trips down to reception when I couldn’t access my room with check out time approaching!

We were notified Saturday morning there would be a power shutoff. When I reserved this hotel, this was not included information. We did not have access to an elevator, we had to carry our luggage’s and bags down 7 flights of stairs. We went to the Celtics game on Friday night and purchased souvenirs for our family, we had 3 bags of gifts. 4 pieces of luggage, 3 backpacks and 2 pocketbooks. When I received confirmation of my booking directly from the hotel, this was never mentioned. Our phones were not charged, non of our electronics were able to fully charge. My husband was absolutely disgusted by this experience. We had to make several trips from the 7th floor down to our vehicle. If I would have been notified in advance of the Power shutoff, I would have never reserved a room at this hotel. This was present for my daughter, that ended with 2 very frustrated parents. Ruined our entire mini getaway.

My room did not have a frig or microwave! I thought that was standard?
The heating system was so loud that I couldn't sleep! It didn't shut off when I put the fan on off!
I did like the addition of hand soap and lotion in large pump bottles.

This has always been a subpar hotel the only reason to use it is it close to mass general hospital for my medical visits. This time they had 2 of 4 elevators inactive. They had a function on the upper floor so the lobby was so backed up i had to wait 25 min to get up to my room. Also their staff and management do not care about customers

We paid for early check in. Got our room and a few hours later the entire hotel lost power. They didn't have a backup generator. Hours passed and finally they told us we had to evacuate the building. We were on the 11th floor and used the stairs to exit to the lobby. The emergency exist was not clear ended up in a cafe. They wouldn't offer any refund. We had to find another hotel during rush hour in Boston. Also, couldn't get help from Expedia either.

This is an old Wyndham. Needs a lot of updating like microwave and redo the bathrooms and new mattresses. Very convenient location for Mass General Hospital appointments about a 5 minute walk and parking on site at hotel as well as restaurant. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

I have stayed at Wyndham properties across the country for years. This has been the most disappointing stay with Wyndham I have ever had. Staff was extremely rude . Came to my room before check out time trying to rush me out . Check out time was 12:00 pm , they began rushing me out before 9:30 am. Staff At the front desk was rude and condescending when I asked a question.

I did pre check in and still had to ask for my ID. 8 am I get a knock on the door from house keeping asking when I was leaving I said 12. I got another knock at my door at 1140 to see if I was leaving. I was getting ready to leave in 2 mins. I went downstairs and told the front desk and she apologized and that was it. Also put my room to 65 because it was so hot and very difficult to sleep. My room never got cooler. I wish my stay could have been better.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I just need to relay a few things.

Staff was great, friendly polite, and helpful.

Room was clean.
Had a couple of things in the bathroom. Shower curtain was not able to stay closed, it kept sliding in to the middle from both sides. So water was getting out, very slow to drain, so standing in dirty water! Not so nice.

Heater in the room was pretty noisy turning on and off all night long. Do understand it’s winter so it’s hard to keep the room at a constant temperature. But woke up a lot. Very dry because of the heater blowing all night.

Location can’t be beat, I have to go to Mass eye and ear every year. This is great, my wife and I take the T in from Elwife station. The Wyndham is in walking distance from the station and can walk to Mass eye and ear.

I kinda expected more from the Wyndham, need to do some upgrading on the building!

Again the staff was super nice!

Room was not well cleaned, there was construction four floors above that started at 9am on a Sunday, which was incredibly loud in the room and made the walls vibrate. The alarm clock in the room had been set to 6am, so we were woken early with an alarm we had not set, then sleep was disrupted by loud construction. When we called the front desk, they did not seem to think this was an abnormal disruption. Overall, wouldn’t stay here again.

The hotel is in an excellent location, walking distance to everything. The hotel staff was great as well. The room…. We found a ziploc bag that had women’s underwear and bras under our bed, the headboard had fingerprints all over it and the shower didn’t drain well so you’re standing in water/soap. The hotel did take $50 off our stay due to the undergarments so that helped. I will say I stripped the bed before getting in it and that was clean.
