Annalisa was excellent and helpful. The biggest negative about this place is the reliance on Nescafe pods. Very little coffee and even fewer choices. The room is relatively small with the sink outside of the bathroom. However, the hotel is close to Chinatown. Staff were excellent.

The property itself was charming. The decor was fascinating. Lots of old world references that made our stay enjoyable.
We ate breakfast there each day. We tried various things from the breakfast menu and all were excellent. The staff was great, very friendly.
The hotel was very accomodating with holding our bags on the last day as we had to go break down a display at the conference we were attending. We would definately stay there again if given the chance.

Food. The best was nearby.

Don’t rent a car in Boston. Instead spend the $200/day rental on food an other amenities.

I could not sleep as there was non-stop construction works right next to hotel and my windows were looking right there. I understand that things can happen outside, but hotel needs to invest in sound proof windows…

The location was excellent and the price was very reasonable. The room was a bit small, but it wasn’t a major issue. In the lobby, there were freshly brewed coffee options available, along with complimentary sparkling water, filtered water, and ice, which was a nice touch. The room was quiet, the water pressure was good, and the hair dryer was powerful, so my hair dried quickly. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay.

But the best part is that these hotels are always in perfect locations in large cities, and this one did not let us down. Very clean room and super friendly staff, cozy spot. Easy access to the north end and 20 minute walk from seaport. However, nighttime was very noisy and I was often woken up by street noise as well as noise outside my room. I was placed right by an area the housekeeping staff needed to use and I could hear everything.

As part of our stay we had free breakfast. I was expecting a standard continental hotel breakfast. They give you vochures for the attached restaurant. Food was delicious.

The air conditioner was blowing warm air and the room was a sauna. Staff did not tell us it was broken when we checked in. They made it so the windows could open, after we complained. The unlocked open window helped but there was a lot of outside noise from the street below and we could not sleep.

it has been a very uncomfortable experience.

The air conditioning in the room was not working, despite the hotel clearly advertising rooms with AC. The room temperature was extremely high, well into the 90s, making it very difficult to rest. It was also noticeable that even the front desk had a fan running, which suggests that this is a known issue, yet it is not being communicated transparently to guests. I was offered a fan or open the windows which was not helpful and added outside noise.

The room itself felt dusty, outdated, and not well maintained, which further added to the discomfort.

What is most concerning is that the hotel continues to promote air conditioning as an available amenity, while in reality it is either not functioning or not properly supported. There was no prior notice about this issue, which feels misleading.

Overall, this stay did not meet basic expectations of comfort or honesty. I would strongly recommend that the hotel either fix the issue or clearly inform guests in advance instead of advertising amenities that are not actually available.

We had the opportunity to stay in one of the newly decorated rooms and it was beautiful! The other rooms are great too, but the new color scheme and furniture are radiant. The staff is always so welcoming and helpful, whenever we stay. I always book this hotel when traveling to
Boston, this is the sixth time and I will always continue to book here!

This is a gem of a hotel in an excellent location. The hotel staff was great and the room was very clean and comfortable. The fitness room is small but well maintained, although equipped with a large TV there was no remote available to use. My other complaint was that several of the water machines offered on each floor were out of service. Did not eat at the hotel but had a couple of good cups of coffee at their complementary coffee bar. The location near T stations, restaurants and shopping could not be better. Will stay there again.

Dogs are allowed at this property which led to multiple dogs barking at night. Management didn’t see to do anything about it. Room hadn’t been cleaned as there was a thick layer of dust on desk and nightstand.

Clean room. We had a suite. There is no separation between the bed and sitting area. I wouldn't really call it a suite. The rooms are small, but comfortable. The staff is outstanding. They were extremely helpful and kind. Great location. Breakfast is not included but there is a restaurant on site if you choose to purchase meals there.

Hotel itself is very nice. The beds were comfortable. Bathroom very much did not match the vibe of the rest of the place. Our AC was broken and was nonstop heating our room, we called down to have someone come check on it and the staff member who came up said “am I opening the window for you guys?” while he had an AirPod in, when we said there was a problem with the AC he said “ahhh yeah I don’t do that, you can open the window yourself yeah?” and then left.

First of all, the staff was amazing. 10/10. The location couldn't have been better. 10/10. Close to the Freedom Trail, Close to the transit, Close to Boston Common. Everywhere was walkable from the hotel. Our only issues were the rooms we pretty cramped, the air conditioning didn't work (It's not even turned on during the winter/spring months) and it was insanely hot in our room and the TV didn't work in our room because it couldn't connect to the Internet. It's expensive for what it is, but no fault of the employees, they were great and very helpful.

Pros: location, the front staff were kind and accommodating, coffee and other beverages available 24/7, filtered water provided on each floor.
Cons: the beds are advertised as queen but seemed more like a full-size, the room was tiny—even for two people, housekeeping lacked, no refrigerator or microwave
This hotel is in a nice, quiet location in the city. We did not hear a lot of noise. It is close to Faneuil Hall. It is fairly dated and definitely needs to be renovated a bit. My biggest concern was with housekeeping. The room was really dusty, there was a big soap chunk in the sink drain, some substance on the bathroom door, and the carpets looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in a while. The bed, while small, was comfortable. The front staff was so kind.

However, I would not have been able to sleep without ear plugs. VERY NOISY. I did like the 24 hr coffee/ tea available. And the water dispenser on every floor.

It’s in a very good location. Walkable to many things including a CVS, New England aquarium, T stops and many food places. You can use your phone to watch your streaming shows on the TV. The WiFi can be spotty. The staff was extremely kind and personable and willing to help. Unfortunately the bed was very stiff and there was light through the door and top of window so it was hard to sleep for my 8 year old son, husband and I. Really needed a king sized bed but didn’t see they had any. Told the front desk we needed a room with a sofa and they suggested a roll away bed. That was better on my back. The toilet was just like a public toilet where you flush the metal bar. The shower kept going back and forth between warm and cold. Turned the water up and it went extremely hot to semi warm and back and worth every 10-20 seconds. The room is smaller but not significantly compared to other Boston hotels. I forgot my sound machine so first night was tough with the sounds of Boston but the second night I realized if I ran the fan on low it sounded like a sound machine and blocked out some noise. The elephant and castle restaurant attached to the hotel had amazing food. I would just suggest to stay away from the Big Ben brownie dessert. It is not as described (the brownie is actually thin slice of chocolate cake, ice cream tasted like ice). If none of this will bother you then I suggest this place cause of its great location and friendly staff.

Very easy digital check in process for those who want to use it. Having my key in my apple wallet was super convenient. We have stayed here a few times because of the kind staff, clean rooms, and convenient location to Downtown Crossing, Faneuil Hall, the North End, the Commons, and the TD Garden. Love this place!

The room is always clean thanks to the staff. There’s no breakfast at the hotel unless you’re trying to go to like the bar/restaurant next-door that’s connected to the hotel. There’s no refrigerator in our hotel room, which was weird. There was no Safe there as well. The food is meh at the elephant and pub bar. Would I book it again? That is a mystery we will have to find out. Other than that, it was close to the convention.

Not worth the cost. The room was in rough shape. The mattress had the big crater in the middle from being used too much. The headboard, carpet, furniture, everything was just worn.

There was dust on the desk, \"mini-bar\" snacks, and coffee maker. No fridge. No ice. Small gym that is not 24/7. Front desk is lovely, but just no reason to stay here.

Really enjoyed our stay! The hotel is located perfectly to be able to explore the city by walking. Lots of great restaurant options nearby for dine-in or takeout. Was well situated to stop back into the hotel and rest for a half hour before venturing back out for the second half of the day. Will definitely be back! Loved the water station on each floor too

Let’s start with positive - staff was very kind and helpful! Everyone was very nice.
But there was nothing special about this hotel.
The rooms are average. The lobby is so small. We paid $200 for one night, no refrigerator in the room, the bathroom is super small, the water was never hot in the shower ,max was a body temperature level.
The room was small. The heater was soooo loud we couldn’t sleep and had to turn it off for the night.
The worst was the parking situation. If you park in the garage that the hotel suggests -you can’t get in and out, you have to pay each time. Not good. To find a street parking was impossible. The front desk lady helped us finding a good option, although you have to walk 2-3 blocks back to the hotel.
I’m not sure why the reviews are so high, maybe the location?
Anyways, there are better options in Boston.

OLD and in need of renovations ASAP. Good mattress though, also good area, but the hotel was nothing like in the pictures. They had bathroom tiles and flooring and showers from the late 1800s, the toilet is literally next to the sink which is pretty gross, but staff was very friendly.

The room is small and not the modern style. Wish the room stocked with bodywash not soap bar for guest.
However, the upside of this hotel is the good location spot.
Coffee and water station all day for guest stands out comparing to other hotels.
Mayor from the front desk was very professional and sweet. She offered us an early check-in for the convenience.
The resturant in the hotel serves good foods.
Overall, I will go back again for short stay.

Entering CQ we were greeted by very friendly and professional staff. Annalisa checked us in quickly and answered our questions. The room was very clean and the service was excellent.
