The room had no heat so they brought up space heaters. The space heaters were really cooling fans so they had to change out for real space heaters. The bathroom shower leaked all over the bathroom floor as a rubber strip on the door was cracked/missing. The elevator was not working properly so it took a long time to get an elevator...no accommodation was offered to us....they just kept saying sorry....don't think I would go there again.

The room is nice and so is the young person whom which graduated from Yale covering every angle on Sunday nights. Aside from that, BEWARE of parking, organization, diligence, overall competence of desk/management. We valeted our rental car as we all know Charles street is a nightmare. The hotel, “has no control and has nothing to do,” with the valet even though the convenient VALET cone sits gingerly in front of the front doors. Our RENTAL car was stuck on a freight elevator, no answers for over an hour just stuck sitting. With no coordination and being told to sit tight and pray until 5:15pm, the car magically arrived. We got about .25 miles away and received another call by the hotel asking if we found the valet key ring!! ABSOLUTE DISASTER do not pay or park there, quite frankly even though the hotel

The service of the room was shockingly poor. The first night our room was not serviced until almost 5PM. The second night after asking for the room to be cleaned, they left the remains of room service food in the room, with the trash cans also full. We had to ask if we needed to clear the trash ourselves. Any other hotel, I would not have been surprised. But a hotel at this caliber? I was disappointed to say the least.

We stayed on 9/5 thru 9/8. On 9/7, it rained and the ceiling and walls in our room started leaking. I reported this issue at the front desk as we were heading out for the day and the assured me they would find us another room, which they did. The only problem is the room was a downgrade from what I paid for and no one ever contacted me about making that situation right.

The air conditioning was not working properly. I mentioned it to front desk. They said that they have had other problems like this and that they would fix it but they never did. For the cost of staying at this hotel, there should not be any issues with the basics like air con. Also, it was very noisy; inconsiderate guests make lots of noise in the hallways well after midnight.

The hotel was beautiful, but check-in was a little bit problematic. They gave me a room in the basement and not the category I paid for. I paid for a double queen, and they gave me a much smaller, less expensive room.

All staffs are super friendly and helpful. In overall, it’s very welcoming, boutiquey and in a nice neighborhood and T station is right front of the hotel.
Our flight was late in the afternoon and they let us do a late check-out.
Not sure how good the hotel would be if you are looking for a business trip and prefer to have a separate working area besides your room. However, they have a lounge setting lobby area that you can hangout.
I will definitely recommend the hotel and will come back to stay in my next trips.

Great stay at this lovely property. Everything was immaculate from the check-in area to the room. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean and the room relatively quiet. Great location at one end of Beacon Hill with shopping and restaurants. The T red line right outside the door. Highly recommended.

However, inexplicably stingy regarding strange things such as no milk delivered with morning room service tea (and the tiniest tea pot ever). But, the worst, was the noise from overhead: From my room I heard heavy stomping at 2 a.m. then again from 5-6 a.m. on two out of my four nights. There was no one whom to tell: No one asked about my stay upon checkout and it’s basically (very nice) young people working the lobby. However, even given all of that, I would return as the location is perfect, and (other than the clodhoppers-in-residence) it’s an elegant, grown-up place to stay away from all of the touristy noise. But, please, please, please round out your room service a wee bit more generously (put a honey pot on the tray with the fruit and granola!)
