We reserve for the weekend , we checked in and paid in cash. Once in our room we saw there was a hole in the bedroom. We let the guy in the front desk know and showed him and said it’s okay it’s okay no worry. The following morning when we tried to shower there wasn’t any hot water. I went to the front desk and let them know. They told me that I had to run the water from the sink and the shower at the same time. We tried that and still there wasn’t any hot water. My family had to shower with cold water. We went to go get breakfast and when we came back a guy was at our door asking us to pay the deposit when we had paid already the night before. We asked for a refund and after 30 mins they agreed and gave us a refund for the one night. They didn’t want to make any accommodation for the hole in the wall and when we mentioned the water they said we should have let them know if though we told them twice. The people at the front desk were very rude I wouldn’t stay here. There was also horrible smell of mold. The walls had water damage.

I booked at 7:30am yesterday, and wanted to have a place to stay for the rest of the weekend. I came by the motel at 8:30. The receptionist said I had to come back at 3pm to check in. I didn't have a place to stay despite paying. I roamed Azusa with my luggage just to be busy. I couldn't shower or pray until 3:30pm. The receptionist didn't give me the WiFi password. I had to come down from my room at 10pm to ask her about the wifi password.

Overall, it was a terrible experience. I wouldn't recommend it anyone else.

When I arrived and checked into my room to disvover that the tv was smashed in. No real bedding. Just a sheet and some old flat pillows. Wasnt expecting much when I booked but a little courtesy for the guest goes a long way.

This place is horrible demands a deposit if you don't want to give a deposit they refuse to cancel your booking so you can have a refund to basically you have no choice but to stay in a roach infested hotel that demands a deposit of cash and you aren't allowed to have more than 2 people let alone any company at all and the rooms look so nasty that I refuse to stay in this hotel disgusting I tell you better off going somewhere else trust

The room was semi outdated. The tv did not work, the phone did not work, so you physically had to walk to office for assistance. It took over an hour for maintenance to come and see fix it, and there very next day it stopped working again. the hot water stopped working and was unable to shower.

This place is really a diamond in the rough. It’s an older place and it’s nothing fancy, but it was very clean and convenient. The area around it has a lot to offer and the view of the mountain is beautiful. I truly had a couple of nightmares stays before finding this place.

again… This is not a fancy place, and there are little to no amenities, but it’s clean and safe and the property owners are pretty strict, which I appreciate given what I have dealt with in this area recently as an Alabama transfer.

Put some effort in and don't make excuses.

At first the young man was friendly and the office smelled really bad. Then 2 days into the stay I got a creepy vibe, and only knowing \"convienient\" english. Then, when accidently locking my service dog in room w/key an old woman tried to charge me for a lost key to get in the room for oringinal, declined! Water heat/pressure sucked, blamed on weather?! Silver fish in tub plus stray unidentified bugs. Plus side, quiet, usually, and mini fridge/microwave a plus and quite roomy inside for extended stay, kids or service animal. Bring extra towels though and warm things because the floor is freezing!

Not the deal I was looking for.

The floors in the room were filthy, gang related graffiti on the back of the door and inside the dresser drawers, no coffee pot, low water pressure in the shower, holes in the comforters. The plastic covering on the mattress crinkles every time you moved, and without a fitted bottom sheet any amount of repositioning yourself while sleeping managed to free all the sheets. The wi-fi worked fine, the free parking was good, the refrigerator and microwave worked.

The property itself was clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly but a flag went up when they asked for a $50 CASH deposit over and above what I paid for the room. My credit card was insufficient as a potential deposit for damages. There is an ATM located right next to the check-in window, perhaps to conveniently accommodate anyone not in the habit of carrying cash. It seems the clientele is not entirely savory, perhaps due in part by the favorable rates. Above and adjacent neighbors were uninhibited openly shouting at 1am. I had just booked the room to get some sleep, shower and continue on with my trip in the morning but alas others did not have the same agenda.

BEWARE! This place is dirty, the people who run it are rude, not to mention very suspicious. There’s people that live in some of the rooms, and key card didn’t work for us, I felt unsafe with people having guest coming in and out of the rooms at night. When I confronted about the unsafeness of his business he argued about how no one complaints about his place and when I wanted a refund for the room I did NOT stay in, he would continue to argue about the quality of his business which in my case was trash ! I will be reporting this business for the situation I was put through.

Room was not what I expected and the desk was really uptight and made me feel completely unwelcomed. They did nothing except threaten me with a police call if they saw even one person enter my room despite my reservation being for 2 people. They would not give me back my deposit either if they felt like someone else was in room. I was so excited for my stay but became so anxious that I wanted to leave when a friend came to deliver me food. I had to tell them to go and call my fiance and tell him to forget our plans. I just couldn't get out fast enough. Also bathroom was huge but water was everywhere and bed was stiff.

This place was the worst stay I've ever had. And it was entirely preventable. The Staff are rude argumentative and ignorant. They demand a $50 cash deposit but REFUSE to give a receipt or any proof of deposit and try shady arguments to try to keep it.
They initially gave us a room that had not been cleaned, they could not accommodate my partially paralyzed brother by giving us a downstairs room and there was a wasp problem on the balcony. I could continue to complain, but it just better to STAY AWAY

The good points of this hotel is it's location (next to APU) and it was clean. The AC/Heater unit worked well too. If that's all you're looking for, you got it. However, if you are accustomed to more upscale properties, this one will be an adjustment. There was no dresser in our room, or any place to hang up anything. You could borrow an iron, however, not a functioning ironing board, there were no blankets, and no hair dryer either. Management speaks to you from being bullet proof glass. They were accommodating and I believe did the best they can. Seems like the property is in the state of being repaired which is understandable. Just go in with your eyes open, and it may work for you.

Beware. There is a 50$ cash deposit not mentioned anywhere on the website for smoke deposit, and for the key card return. Really? I left the tv remote, and card key in the room, and the guy up front gave me grief about it. Said that it was part of the 50$ deposit. Then told me when I stay there again he wouldn’t let me slide on it again. Overall, small room, clean enough for a shower and a bed. Go somewhere else. The price isn’t even that good for what you get. The Mgr is really a pompous a$$.

It’s cheap for the area. It’s a “cheap” place🙁

The dumpster was overflowing with trash; our room smelt of being freshly painted, a fight broke out in room next door- sounded like someone being tossed around. Guy who checked me in was on his cell phone the entire 15 minutes, didn’t even talk to me other then to ask me for my ID. Hands me remote to TV and two room keys, as he turns around I have to ask what the room number is. I had already paid for two nights and couldn’t cancel or I would have. We were gone all day and only slept there. I would not stay there nor recommend the place.

What i didnt like about the place, i booked a smoking room online there were three rooms left it said so i booked a toom by the rime i got there there were no more smoking rooms so i cau cancel my room on the 9th of may. I cancelled at the time at the hotel they told me they would call you guys and tell you they would refund my money. I talk to expedia they told me it would take 24 hours to return my money well its been longer than 24 hours and i still havn't gotten my refund returned . I also had a deposit i had to made at the Super 8 motel of $50i still havt been returned. Please help me put here why i havnt received it yet?.

Not particularly friendly, but we did arrive to check in late. The room we got was spacious with nice clean vinyl flooring. It had a good table for sharing a meal and had a mini fridge and a microwave was was really a big plus. The tub/shower had nice marble walls which was a nice detail. I liked their soap bars too.

Checking in was a trial. The proprietor demanded cash payment for the room. When I claimed I had pre-paid on HOTELS.COM, he said that I had not. I had to call in and have the hotels.com agent call the proprietor to explain that I had already paid for the room. Even after all that, they still wanted me to cancel the hotels.com reservation and simply pay them the same amount in cash. My response to this was \"I think not\".

The room was bare-bones Hobo hotel, but it was clean. However, not clean enough to bother including any complimentary bars of soap to support my stay. You need to bring your own.

Another really irritating feature of the room was reading lights....there were none; only recessed ceiling lights. Awkward, but at least I didn't have to stumble around in the dark.

Oooops, almost forgot. They handed you a TV remote along with your room key (that's a new one). Evidently they must be having problems with the theft of their broken-down remotes.

I can’t recall in recent history as to when was the last time I was completely unsatisfied with a room I checked into. It was filthy. Toilet had splash back stains in the seat. The covers to the beds smelled like smoke. When I pulled the blankets back the sheets were full of long hairs. They charged me extra for having a visitor. After telling me on the phone before that 3 people per room would be the same price as two. I tried checking out, but they wouldn’t refund me one penny back. Non refundable charge they said. Horrible experience

I like this location because near by Azusa Pacific University.
My room # was 136, No Smoking Room, on the First Floor which
I requested and it was a nice clean room. 1. the water drainage was not working in the bathtub, I needed to
take a nice bath after a long drive from San Diego, CA,
2. $93.50 in total/night was too expensive. 3. B/F should be included with this kind of Rate.
4. I'm not sure to stay in this Motel again.
5.There are many Hotels/Motels in this area.
